He was honest about potential issues with matching the existing tile due to dye lots and variations in color etc. I was so happy when he was able to obtain a sample and it looked close enough to move forward. Also, they tried to charge me for three transition pieces that were not used ($156). The entire apartment was painted just before the installation, but their careless workmanship caused numerous scuff marks and wall damage that had to be repaired and repainted. In the end the owner split the repair bill with me, while continuing to deny any responsibility.

I had contacted the owner, Lenny, on numerous occasions over the past few years. Each time, his manager assured me that she would speak with him and send someone to inspect the problem. It took Lenny over a year to return my phone calls. By then the floors got progressively worse. My floor is warped and lifting everywhere, making it impossible to walk on. While the pricing from this company seemed reasonable, they lack a commitment to their work. When the owner actually came to inspect the floors, he sent someone to take a look. He offered no solution. Despite numerous calls afterward, I received no additional follow up. I would not recommend them to anyone. I regret not writing a review years ago, but felt bad posting a negative review. I paid a significant amount of money for this job, and when I recently contacted an independent contractor to explore the possibility of salvaging these floors, I was informed that they were installed incorrectly without adequate room for expansion. Now I have to replace all the flooring. I strongly advise against using this company. I had the intention of supporting a local merchant, but unfortunately for me that was a mistake with this merchant.
