Judy in the office was most helpful with information and suggestions, she arranged a meeting with Barry the owner, and we quickly were pleased with our decision to start here. After a meeting at our condo to measure, suggest options and prepare a quote we decided to move forward with the remodel. Barry is the owner and does the building and installs himself - is very professional, conscientious and extremely accommodating. In the world today, it is sometimes difficult to find a contractor who you feel comfortable with and are pleased when all is done. East Coast Kitchen & Bath is certainly the place to start your remodel needs. We had a few very minor bumps during the process of both kitchen and bath through no fault of Barry, but he quickly addressed and cured them. You will be very pleased to deal with East Coast, highly recommended!!

Do not even try to do business with this company. I went into the showroom store the first week of…read moreFebruary to discuss someone coming to redo a bedroom/ bath and a kitchen remodel. They took the information down and said someone would call me. Two weeks later, no call so I went back and the lady found my form and said someone would call. A week later someone came out and took measurements and said they'd have me a design within two weeks. So I called last week after 3 weeks had passed and was told Ricky Catapano the construction manager would need to come out. They were waiting on blueprints from the county. This was news to me as I said I have the blueprints from original design and could email them to you and could have given that to you 3 weeks but you came and measured. So he said Ricky would come out the next week. You guessed it. No one last week. Now it is Thursday 3/24 and I called Ricky directly. Mr Catapano told me he didn't even know what I was talking about. I said- look, are you telling me you don't have time to put together a quote for a 70-80k remodel and I've been waiting since February 4th? He said- sorry, we're too busy. So now I will search again and have wasted 6 weeks from this unprofessional business who should have never sent someone to my house in the first place. But my fault, if you have to try 3 times to get someone just to show up, you shouldn't be using them. I had liked their showroom and wanted to do something similar but there will definitely be better options.

Dave worked with us to come up with a beautiful and functional design. the work was done while we were in NY and everything came out even better than we could have hoped. There was an issue with some tile we wanted to use and Dave made an alternate suggestion that turned out just right. When we got here there was a slight problem with the toilet that got fixed immediately. Customer service couldn't be better.

I was not instructed to bring photos or measurements. Karrinne told me on the phone I was to come there and could "look at pictures." I incorrectly assumed so that she could get an idea of my style preferences. Anyway, I did have my ipad with me and we looked at stored Zillow photos of the space. I was told the next step was for me to provide a $500 retainer so that she could come to my home with pre-selected finish material samples. I indicated that I wanted someone to measure and provide a quote within a $10,000 range so that we could compare bids and select a contractor. That I wanted to do that before even moving into the realm of finishes. She said "no, we do not do hours of 3D modeling for people who ultimately don't have the right budget." I said that I understood and was not looking for her to do extensive modeling. I also was very clear in that we had a $50,000 budget and wanted mid-grade products. She took my ipad and showed it to her estimator, came back and said, "there's a chance we could do it for $50,000." I was so disappointed and upset that I took time off of work to have such a dismal experience. I completely understand that they cannot accommodate extensive planning free of charge, but providing a quote is a core competency that cannot be skipped. Nor am I interested in pre-selected finishes prior to you seeing my space, understanding my style, or the decor of the home in general. Definitely would not suggest a visit with them unless you have time to spare and don't care what your design style is.

I really liked the owner who I thought came across as honest, knowledgeable and a straight shooter. Also, the pricing was fair, the selection and quality of granite was impressive and they were very easy to communicate with. We put down a deposit and things got rolling quickly. The counters went down beautifully but there was some question about whether or not they'd be able to get all of the backsplashes done with the amount of material we had in our slabs. Ultimately, they made it happen without any drama or delay which was really appreciated. I also want to mention how impressed I was with their trustworthiness. They basically had complete access to our house for three days as well as the codes to get in and they didn't abuse the trust we placed in them whatsoever. The place was in exactly the same shape it was when we returned, with the exception of the fantastic granite they installed! All in all, great experience. Five stars.
