I admit, life happened and I have been slacking on submitting this review. But you know who didn't…read moreslack? Treasure Coast Concrete Polishing (TCCP)!
Approx. one year ago, while working from home due to Covid-19 quarantine, I had alot of time to truly consider what I wanted to do to "refresh" my home. My floors were the bane of my existence and they just had to go..... I didn't want to go with just any floor from some big box store, I wanted something durable, timeless and dare I say it; unique! I came across floors that were concrete staining and I knew that I had to have it!
I called 4 companies that provided this service and Treasure Coast Concrete Polishing was the ONLY ONE who answered the phone! I left a voice mail and sent emails to the others and I can attest that even as of this day (a year later) none of them ever responded back. But, in hindsight, it turned out out to be a blessing.
While speaking with Jeremy (the owner of TCCP) on the phone he asked the pertinent questions needed to fulfill the quote I was looking to get and explained how the process of concrete polishing works. But, he went a step further and asked what it was I was envisioning in my floor. He provided me with his direct cell number and encouraged me to search online and send him pictures of what I was interested in and he would get back with me as soon as he reviewed them. I didn't have to search at all due to the fact that in my months of research I knew exactly what I wanted and had already saved pics of them on phone! After sending them to him, seconds later, Jeremy called me back, sounding more excited than I was saying" I am so eager to do this color/type of flooring for you and I have the perfect idea in mind, it's something I've been researching for a while. Can I come by tomorrow and take a look at your current floors?" The fact he was excited about doing my floor, was coming out the very next day, and had confidence in himself that he could make my vision come alive, confirmed that TCCP could be "the one"!
Jeremy arrived on-time, with samples in hand. As he walked the house you could see the wheels turning! You see...we had tile floors and they were NOT pretty. Some were cracked, some had line fractures through them and the grout lines were lacking consistency. Jeremy did not see that as a hindrance, he saw it as a challenge and expressed his ideas and suggestions.
First suggestion: removing all the tile, which was something we considered, but felt like it would be a huge mess and a much higher cost. Second suggestion: we go over the existing tile. Of course, the tiles would be inspected, weak ones removed and/or repaired to insure stability. Basically, Jeremy extended us the confidence that the way we wanted our floors and doing it over the existing tile foundation would be the way to go. Aforementioned prior, Jeremy, does not view what he does as a job, it's his passion, he too does his research, strives to keep up with the newest techniques and takes pride in his work. It was a no- brainer when it came to hiring him.
Fast-forward to the start of obtaining our new floors. Jeremy and his Team showed up on time and ready to work (and they did so immediately) The process was seemingly simple yet mesmerizing to watch. Their craft is to be admired!
When it came time to stain the concrete my husband and I were there and Jeremy and his Team encouraged us to get involved and be "hands on"! It was awesome being a part of this art! The colors we chose resembled a pile of fall leaves (the floor is lava colors!!!!- reds, oranges, and golds) and it turned out phenomenally UNIQUE!
A year later, the floor still astonishes me. Its easy to clean. It has stood up to kids, cats, furniture being moved over it and the occasional item being dropped on it. Anyone who visits makes comments about how unique it truly is!
If you are looking for a concrete staining/epoxy company who is punctual, cares about your vision, follows up, is thorough and has integrity; Jeremy and his Team at Treasure Coast Concrete Polishing is the way to go !
