Approximately nine months after the installation, the vinyl began to lift in two rooms, and the third room is now experiencing similar issues. I had contacted the owner, Lenny, on numerous occasions over the past few years. Each time, his manager assured me that she would speak with him and send someone to inspect the problem. It took Lenny over a year to return my phone calls. By then the floors got progressively worse. My floor is warped and lifting everywhere, making it impossible to walk on. While the pricing from this company seemed reasonable, they lack a commitment to their work. When the owner actually came to inspect the floors, he sent someone to take a look. He offered no solution. Despite numerous calls afterward, I received no additional follow up. I would not recommend them to anyone. I regret not writing a review years ago, but felt bad posting a negative review. I paid a significant amount of money for this job, and when I recently contacted an independent contractor to explore the possibility of salvaging these floors, I was informed that they were installed incorrectly without adequate room for expansion. Now I have to replace all the flooring. I strongly advise against using this company. I had the intention of supporting a local merchant, but unfortunately for me that was a mistake with this merchant.

He even gave us a "friends and family" discount despite the fact that we were new customers. We were amazed that he called us within a week of placing the order to say he was ready to deliver the carpet. We live on the second floor of 2 story condo without an elevator. Derek not only brought the area rug up to our unit, he helped us lay out the area rug and took the old area rug away with the intention of donating it to Habitat for Humanity. Eric was wonderful to work with and was very attentive through phone and email to help with any questions we had. Once the product was purchased, they had an install date for 2 weeks from the purchase date which was very reasonable. They use a third party for the installation. Gigi Duarte with Brazilian Best Tile & Marble was amazing!!! Her daughter Lulu and she were so attentive to our needs and wants and were very open with communication. We had 1 or 2 unplanned things happen when the old tile was being taken up, and because we didn't expect it, she did not charge us for the added labor. Her crew worked so hard for 5 days, transforming this home into something quite special and beautiful. I cannot recommend these companies more. He was honest about potential issues with matching the existing tile due to dye lots and variations in color etc. I was so happy when he was able to obtain a sample and it looked close enough to move forward. We ordered the tiles and Deya and her crew arrived right on time and worked their magic. The tiles look great and the match is perfect. They worked on my schedule, requiring work be performed in the evenings over a 5 day period. This saved me thousands of dollars by keeping the business open. The end product was great. We have had nothing but compliments. The owner of Jay's Floors was personally involved during every step of the process. He personally inspected the work every day to assure it met his standards, which frankly, were higher than I expected. The price was extremely competitive and all individuals from the sales staff to installers were courteous, professional and talented. I could not be more pleased.

They did do the job but the issue is we seem to have many "floating spots" or pockets of air under the LVP, similar to the sound and feel when a tile is loosening from the underlying thin-set adhesive. I called them three times leaving messages and then eventually pulled into his store on a Saturday seeing his truck there. He was too busy to speak at the moment and asked me to leave my name and number with him again, which he wrote down and said he would call back. I explained to him that I wanted him to stop by just to review the issues I had about the floors since we never had this product before and are learning this isn't quite normal for a well-done job. We paid his full price as well and it was at a premium price at that. It was explained they level the floor but they certainly didn't in one specific area in a high-traffic walkway leading from the living room into the kitchen. Also, when I look another man (ow woman) in the eye and shake their hand to do business with them (and there were many others we could have gone to but we wanted to help out local business people of which they are less than a half mile away) and they state they stand behind all their products and work, then they avoid calls and and don't call me back, this is a deal breaker forever. Actually I consider business owners like that rats. I see other comments similar relative to mine and met another individual who used them and that this is their way. The fact that they never once were called me back is upsetting and is an insult given I dropped $7,000.00 for one day's worth of work in a small condo, is enough to say don't use this person because they are not trustworthy. If they won't return a call just to see what my issue is as a good paying customer, then you can only forecast that when something needs to be fixed they sure as heck won't be answering the phone to fix or repair the floors on warranted work. Maybe they do a good job on carpets, I hope so because I never had a bad carpet job. This however is not good and do not use them for LVP or anything else, but carpet, if even that. Non-existent customer service after they take your money.
