Finished several projects over the summer. I tried to return extra paver edges. They refused to take it because it was 2 days past the return window. Although it was brand new, not expensive and something they still actively sold. This was the last straw. I've lived her my whole life and typically get my materials from Lowe's. I will gladly go a mile north and take all future projects to Home Depot. read more

Unacceptable Customer Service and Leadership Failure This Lowe's location failed its customers today. While Don, the assistant manager, argued with me over an item number being off by one digit--even though multiple products were stocked in the wrong area with the same description and pricing, which I did not purchase and will purchase at their competitor. When brought to management's attention, DON, the manager, continued debating policy instead of addressing the real issue. While checking out, a senior citizen, decorated Army veteran in a wheelchair was left waiting for help to load bags of salt into his truck. They called code 3 times over loud speaker. No one came to help him. The explanation given was that they "didn't have enough staffing" to help a disabled veteran. Because no employee stepped up, I loaded the salt into the veteran's truck myself. Leadership sets the tone. Watching management focus on a pricing technicality while ignoring a handicapped veteran reflects poorly on this store and Lowe's as a whole. This was not a staffing issue--it was a leadership and accountability read more

Awful. I bought a dishwasher and despite the enormous amount of reminders for my appliance installation, I was no showed. I was there all day. I called them and a manager never called back. Please don't shop here. It's just aggravation and they treat their customers terrible. read more

Went to Lowe's in Stuart yesterday to check out Christmas trees, well saw one I liked but thought I'd check a few more stores. Well came back about 4 hours later to get that tree and it was gone! I was totally devastated, how could it be gone, there were tons of trees? Thank goodness I took a photo of that tree, we went to service desk talked to a fantastic team member Michele and she was able to track that tree down. Plus she took time to call several stores waiting on line to see if they could hold that tree because all the stores were out. Found one it was 30 minutes away and they only had 3! They said no on hold so she said don't worry, we can order it online, which she helped me do and good thing because now they were down to 2. So we hit the road to do a store pickup. This kind caring lady went far above the call of duty. She is a total asset to this store. I will recommend this Lowe's and continue to shop there. Again Thank You Michele, you could of just said no sorry none in stock but you continued to help until we found that tree. I want to tell you the tree looks perfect and you made us so happy, Happy Holidays to you. read more

Pretty good prices on some things here others not so much. I'm giving this place 5 stars only because of Jon in millwork and most of the pro staff. Customer service is pretty good too. read more

We dealt with Angela in the appliance section. I can't believe how amazing she was! She was helpful, knowledgeable, and we just had a great experience with her. We were looking for a washer and dryer, and she knew them inside and out. She was just a pleasure to deal with. By the time we left, I felt like I had a new friend. Excellent customer service! read more

Did some custom order blinds. Not only lied to make the initial sale but manager refused to work with me on the return process. Then could not find my original order to make corrections and wanted to guess at the colors. Understaffed and unprofessional. read more

Consumers beware! We bought a brand new refrigerator from this lowes and if completely stopped working after only 5 days! It was a whirlpool refrigerator and when we went back to lowes we were told that we can only return it within 48 hours! All of our groceries went bad. We have two children in the home which did not concern them at all. We were unaware of this policy but who would ask what the return policy is on a brand new appliance. I would hope that a store as well known as lowes would stand behind there big purchases and trust they would work. Now we are getting the run around from the repair shop sent to us by whirlpool because it is under warranty but in the mean time I can barely keep cold milk in the house for my kids! I'm disgusted with the treatment we received by management and will never purchase anything from here again! read more

Would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT USE LOWES for anything. They botched a big installation job for my parents and treated them terribly. read more

Do not purchase the craftsman gas push mower products from this store. I had saved and purchased a mower at the beginning of the summer season and within 30 days i was having issues with it shutting off. returned and purchased a replacement identical m230 push mower $500 now replacement mower is over thirty days and having issues. won't start. Now the Delima ....... Lowes won't return at store and craftsman is telling me i have to take it to west palm beach, Okeechobee, or Vero beach. to have it serviced. this is a consumer nightmare and I hope this review saves anyone from making this purchase. because this situation is not ideal for anyone nobody should have to drive two hours per trip total 4 hours to resolve manufacture issues. I should have known this was not a good purchased, the plastic carburetor should have been a sign. now I know what grandpa meant by they don't make things like they used to. read more

the worst! This place lies and treats the customer like crap! Ordered a refrigerator and will never EVER EVER GO TO LOWES AGAIN! After no help in the store I attempted to order online! 15 attempts later I called. The rep was absolutely awful and could not understand english. said they were having problems online but he would take the order. screwed it up and I get an email saying refrigerator will be delivered but not installed. Allready paid for the piece required for the installation I said I wanted it installed! 2 more phone calls and almost 1 hour on hold and they insist it's being installed even though they can't guarantee it. Then I get a call from Lowe's delivery saying I want it left outside my front door! 2 more calls and delivry and instilattionis supposedly set although there are like 5 reasons they can't install depending on my line for the icemaker, none of which was mentioned online. 6 AM this morning -day of delivery- I get an email saying delivery cancelled ! 3 more phone calls , the last one being with a snarky sob and now Im scheduled for tomorrow but NO GUARANTEES! I'm sure by tom I will be cancelling! Recenly out of the hospital and no refidgerator since Milton. The last thing I needed was this company treating me this badly! Contacting the BBB read more

I made a HUGE mistake ordering countertops from this place. I knew going into this project that it was going to be a nightmare just from the experience of shopping this store for regular items. Staff generally has that, your bothering me and doing you a favor here attitude. Quick run down: over paid for countertops, waiting on final bill, installer was trying to install before I saw a final bill, called store (I was out of town) guy on phone could care less. Final bill came in and it was 200 over that I already paid meanwhile I already overpaid per square. Complete friggin scam. The woman who I was originally dealing with was top notch by the way. She went out of her way to try and make it right but unfortunately, I already felt scammed. read more

Lowe's had great customer service in the beginning but has gone down hill Every time we go there it's a problem. They need to revamp their management. read more

Terrible projects install team! We had ordered a fence in December, it took over 6 months to get installed! The salesman was initially very helpful and came out right away, but after the fence was ordered we never heard from him again. Countless emails with very slow responses (if at all) from multiple project coordinators. We tried to contact the projects supervisor multiple times and he never responded! After months of frustration it finally got assigned to an installer who was scheduled then had to cancel because the materials never got delivered! Then we finally got an assistant store manager to help us get the install completed. Overall, it was horrible experience with communication and customer service! Very upset, we expected more from Lowe's. read more

Sorry to say, this is the worst Lowe's I have ever had the displeasure of working with. All the other stores seem to be able to get things right, this store seems to be able to only do things wrong. Orders are wrong, deliveries are wrong, installations aren't done on time. I am not sure who the general manager is but they need the boot. I called the store to talk about an order had a pending (I received a partial delivery). After holdong on the line and being transferred back to the same department 13 times, the employee at Lowe's shared that he too was fed up with the lack of professionalism and work ethic of his fellow employees. No one in customer service or delivery would answer the freaking phone. I can under stand that they might be short handed during this whole covid-19 thing, but the number of customers in the store is way down (I had to go there to talk to someone). After these orders are complete, it is a competitor who will get my business from now on. Should have checked out the other reviews before going to this location. I love Lowe's, just this store is the worst. read more

We like this location overall. They are very shortstaffed and need more registers/checkouts open, but its usually is better here than Home Depot. read more

Now I know why I stopped shopping here. Went in to purchase a bathroom sink. 2 ladies sitting at their desk back in bathroom department. The store is the worst for help... bought a "self service" Christmas tree this afternoon...no one to help...found a associate who went to get someone and never came back..paid for the tree....bagged it myself and put in my car and left...tried to call customer service and spent 10 min on hold...worthless store..no idea what customer service is all about read more

Unfortunately I have nothing very good to say about my experience with Lowes. I was looking to buy a refrigerator and was treated very poorly by a person that just wanted to get off the phone and go back to his coffee. He told me they were completely out of stock and refused to help me any further. I will stick with Home Depot in the future. read more

This Lowes in Stuart Florida is the worst in this area. I am a contractor and have been doing business with them for over 20 years. This store continues on a downward spiral ever since their "remodel". Their isles are always clogged up with stock on pallets. There is never anyone to help you except at contractor desk. Shelves are not restocked and it is in general a mess!!! It was so bad that I drove to Jensen Beach location to get help for a high end Delta faucet. Jensen Beach is neat, well stocked and can always find an employee to assist there!!! Why has Lowes let Stuart store get so bad? If it did not add 35 minutes to my drive I would shop Jensen Beach store all the time. Also they have no way to contact manager online as opposed to calling and waiting forever to talk to someone!! read more

The worst experience I have ever had. Bought $20,000 + worth of Windows and doors. The rep who sold it to me didn't look at the plans, so wrong doors were ordered. Even after spending that amount of money they couldn't help me switch out doors for correct hinges, and gave me the run around for weeks. Had to eat cost of the doors and order another 7 doors from Home depot. They didn't include Mullen Bars for double windows. They beat around the bush again, so I was also forced to buy that from Home Depot. One of the last windows on pallet was delivered broken, and again I am getting the run around. This has been a several months ordeal. And still nothing, finally called corporate and the better business bureau to see if that will help. You don't need to by a screw driver when dealing with this store, they screw you for free. read more

Since August 2021 I have been trying to get resolution on my refrigerator purchased from Lowe's that was under warranty and unrepairable. They sent two different technicians out to repair the LED lights and were unable to after they snapped off wires inside the refrigerator. I've been calling monthly and been promised callbacks every time and as of December 21 I have still not received a callback concerning my problem. This was under close extended warranty program, obviously they do not honor their warranty. read more

Hello everyone. I love Lowe's for the do it yourself stuff. BE AWARE OF THE CONTRACTING SERVICES. A 150k job was my disaster. The job place was damaged, the work not complete, sub contractors were horrible and worst of all Lowes has no backed the job up. STAY FAR AWAY!!! read more

Delivery services is terrible. I ordered a refrigerator for my Hobe Sound home. The sales person said we wold get a call the evening before to tell us if delivery would be in the morning or afternoon. It was a lie. We got a robo call at 9:30 the evening before saying delivery would be between 9:30 and 1:30 and they would call me 30 minutes prior to delivery. After waiting all morning and hearing nothing I called the subcontractor they use for delivery at 1:15 and asked when delivery would be. She called dispatch and told me there were 3 deliveries ahead of me and she had no estimate of when they would come. They finally came at 2:15, showing up without calling. I asked the driver if this was common to be late and he said that they ran behind schedule all the time. So if you use their delivery expect to spend most of the day waiting for them to come. read more

Tom R; I purchased this morning in excess of $1600 worth of goods from a very helpful young man in the Stuart FL store. He suggested I should get a Lowes credit card, I would save 5% and could use for future purchases. I filled out all the forms but when time came to pay, they requested a social insurance number. We are Canadians and we do not give our social insurance number to anyone, plus it would probably not register for you. It is too bad you cannot accommodate the 1000's of Canadians who visit Florida!! read more

Do not purchase the Lowe's protection plan. They use a Miami service company and they admitted to me that the tech comes to Martin County from up to 100 miles away. Give you an 8 to 4 window to be home. Customer service is obviously not a priority at Lowes read more

I have come to the conclusion, after numerous visits to this Lowe's location, that the employees should be given an award. I have never seen so many ingenious ways to ignore customers. The effort on the part of these people to avoid eye contact and thus have to respond to a request for assistance is noteworthy at the least. This is not an observation born of a single visit but of several months of effort to get help in this store. Visit if you would enjoy an award winning display of "ignore the customer ingenuity". It can, at times be humorous. However, I would not recommend this business if you expect any kind of customer service at all. read more

For the past 7 years our businesses have been placing our large orders through the commercial department at the Stuart Lowe's location. Both McKaylee and Shawna are positive, professional and a pleasure to work with. They both have provided great follow up and negotiated prices for us. Just moved to the area. What a breath of fresh air. After leaving Home Depot in disgust because we couldn't find anyone to help us we arrived at Lowe's. We were greeted the moment we walked in the door. Help was easy to find and plentiful. This is absolutely crazy- We are expecting a category 4 hurricane to hit with in 24 hours. I've been waiting in a line here at Lowe's for the past 9 hours! Corporate refused when contacted by the store manager to allow us to prepay for a generated and distribute receipts for pick up later today. So I have been unable to do any preparation for the hurricane. Being a single female this is scary. How can Lowe's be so irresponsible to place people's lives in danger to wait in a line . Such an easy solution that would allow people to focus on what they should be focused on. SHAME ON Corporate LOWE'S this has and will endanger people's lives. Including mine! What's your reason probably hoping to make a few extra bucks while people wait around any other reason just doesn't make sense. This will be my last trip to LOWE's from now on Home Depot here I come. read more

The staff does not know where any thing is or anything about the products they can find. I had the paint department mix a gallon of satin paint for my bathroom and he said I should use Semi gloss which is not what I wanted . He mixed semi gloss anyway without telling me. I painted the bathroom and it is shiny and cheap looking so then realised he did NOT give me satin as I ordered. The problem other than the fact that he sold me what he would want to use is that I can not paint over semigloss with satin. The entire room now must be sanded to paint. Do not use Lowes in Stuart especially when ther is a Home Depot and Ace within a mile. read more
