I usually don't take the time to write reviews because ... life. I am going to write one for Sunshine roofing because getting a roof is costly and choosing a company is a big decision. If you don't want to read all the details, and just want to know whether or not I recommend, then the short and sweet is that I honestly cannot recommend them enough. I had nothing but positive experience and interactions with everyone involved with Sunshine from start to finish. The details. For one, let me start by saying I have no affiliation with them whatsoever. I don't know anyone , I have no vested interest .... nothing. I first contacted them in spring 2022 for a tile roof replacement estimate which they gave. We chose not proceed with the project at the time. A full year later, in April 2023 we were ready to proceed and I contacted them and asked for an updated estimate. We set up a time for them to come but before that happened I got an email with the estimate. I called was told that they didn't need to come out. They had it on file from 2022. I looked back in my house paperwork and it was the SAME estimate. Seriously! Every single thing I buy costs more than it did a year ago. People are getting canceled for HOI left and right and roofers are raking in the bucks but Sunshine roofing kept the same estimate. Still, we delayed a little and finally signed a contract June 26 . Due to industry-wide supply chain issues with roofing materials , the estimated installation was to be Oct at earliest but likely January 2024. On Aug 30, we decided to change our tile style from the one originally selected. I contacted Jessica and was told, "no problem". There would likely be a further lag time for tile but no change in $$$ amount. At the beginning of Oct, Jessica called and said our tile was in early!. She followed up with an email giving the schedule for the tear out and installation which would take 2 weeks start to finish. Every single step was explained and coordinated to eliminate unnecessary delays and work commenced on time. The tear out was quick. The tile was delivered and loaded onto my roof same day ( in two separate deliveries). Mind you, my neighbor down the block had tile sitting and taking up half of his driveway for two weeks before our roof was started. Every single day, when the roofers left my house, everything was cleaned up. No construction materials or debris lying around. I didn't find one nail ( I've lost 3 tires for neighbors roofers). Everyone was respectful of my property. Every single person on my property was polite. Every single concern I had was addressed. Work was finished on time ( my neighbor still had tile in his driveway) and the roof looks great! When they were finishing up, my neighbor brought to my attention that one of the trucks delivering tiles dinged his mailbox making it difficult to close it. ( These tiles require huge trucks with heavy loads. It was understandable ) . I contacted Jessica and she took it from there. She contacted the mailbox company my HOA uses and got a new one ordered the same day. No debating... just took care of it. So, 100%, I recommend them. I was dreading this whole process but they made it painless. Any time we had questions, they were always promptly and politely answered with explanations given in full. Any time I called the office, the phone was answered. I would recommend them to my mom, my bestie, my neighbors, anyone. read more

We had a roof leak stemming from an area where a chimney used to be. They were friendly and quick to respond, however their work did not last. Almost exactly 7 months later I started having a leak in the exact same spot - I reached out to them and they told me it wouldn't be covered under warranty which only lasts for 6 months. I got quotes from three companies to fix the issue, and every single one of them said the same thing, that the company I used initially did a poor job and took minimal effort, and rather than fix the underlying issue, they basically band aided over the problem. They were friendly, seemed fairly priced, and it's possible it was just one bad worker that we happened to get, but I won't be using them again. read more

Quick, courteous and professional. From the admin executive to the owner to the crews, everyone was amazing. The whole process went smoothly and I couldn't have had a better experience. The Owner came out when scheduled to talk with me, the AE came to my home with all the paperwork. She kept me in the loop as to scheduling and the roof was completed within the timeframe. There was an issue, not the fault of the roofer but the weather. They replaced the area and had a painter fix the area inside my home once the roof was completed at their expense. They did not ask for final payment until everything was correct. I highly recommend this company if you are in the market for a new roof. read more

I called Sunshine Roofing the morning after Hurricane Irma because the entire East side of my roof had disappeared after the storm. I NEVER expected them to be out lightning fast like they were but to my surprise Jamie was in my driveway the next day with a price and putting tarps so the damage would not get any worse. I was in tears when I saw him so quickly .... my power had not even been restored yet!!! I upgraded to a metal roof and had a shiny new roof before my neighbors even got estimates (I gave them ALL Sunshine Roofing's cards as I was the envy of the neighborhood) he even quoted and completed most of my neighborhood. Do not use this company. You will have damage done to your house as well as water bottles left in the gutters, bent gutters, loose screws all over the yard, and very unresponsive management. If you have a problem it will take them 3 weeks to come and LOOK at it to get someone to fix it. I've had to replace 3 of my car tires so far due to loose screws left on the street, driveway, and grass. So stressful dealing with these people who only care about taking your money. read more

Look for edit but so far it's a no-call no show for our scheduled "anytime" day yesterday for inspection and direction and hopefully performance of fixing a leak. I will give second request today in the afternoon giving them time to call, apologize, and offer to come ASAP. read more

We had this company repair a leak in our roof a little more than two years ago. When the repair leaked again recently, we called for help. The owner returned our call only after we called again over a week later. He was rude and arrogant and informed us that his work only carried a one year warranty. Really????? On to a more customer friendly and reliable roofing company. I do not recommend this outfit at all. read more

First workers tore pool screen with piece of concrete, next 2 broken flower pots, tore up driveway with dumpster and throwing of concrete down from roof, broken trees and plants, skylights installed dirty and tore up interior drywall, front home peak - one side done fine other side does not match and done wrong, bill sent for extras without explanation that I asked for and also asked for signed waivers to give to mortgage company that supplied the loan for the roof. Company said unless I pay the balance they will file a lien and void my warranty. I have said repeatedly that I am no refusing to pay, I just want my things fixed. They are fusing. Sloppy work and abuse to a woman senior citizen. read more

These guys were the only company that actually showed after I requested 3 bids. They came and gave a quick estimate and the job was completed within 2 weeks. So far so good. read more
