I had such a great experience at this nail salon and especially with Kim! She truly went above and beyond for me. I originally came in during a rush and we weren't able to finish my nails that day, but she stayed late after work the next day just so she could complete them properly. That alone meant a lot! Before my appointment, she even asked me to send photos of my inspo ahead of time so she could review them and think of something creative. I was very specific about wanting a red and mostly pink Lunar New Year inspired set with cherry blossom details, and she came fully prepared with multiple color and design options. You can tell she puts real thought and effort into her work! What I care most about with nails is cuticle prep, shaping, and attention to detail, and she did an excellent job. My cuticles were cleaned beautifully and the shape and base color already looked perfect even before the detailed designs were added. She takes her time and makes sure everything looks clean and balanced. I also really appreciated how comfortable she made the process. It can be hard to speak up if you are unsure about something, but she was very reassuring and encouraged honest feedback. If she noticed I was hesitating, she would check in and adjust things without making me feel bad at all. The salon itself is very clean, the staff is friendly, there is plenty of parking, and they offer multiple beauty services in one place which is very convenient. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my nails and the entire experience, and I would definitely come back!
This review is long overdue, but I had to share how amazing this place is. Vicky makes my nails look absolutely stunning every single time. She's so talented with designs, and the quality of her work is incredible. I get GelX with her and it has honestly been a game changer for me. I don't have a ton of time to constantly redo my nails, and somehow they still look amazing weeks later. I literally still get compliments on them even after a month because they hold up so well! I'm attaching a photo from my Valentine's Day set because it was so cute and perfectly done. Vicky always brings my ideas to life and somehow makes them even better. I also have to shout out Hannah for pedicures - she is so thorough, detailed, and genuinely caring. She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect, which makes the experience feel really relaxing and thoughtful. All around this is such a great spot. The team is talented, kind, and you can really tell they care about their work and their clients. I'm so grateful for this shop!
I called in to schedule a gel manicure appointment and they were able to schedule me right away. I dont remember who did my nails but she was thorough and cleaned my nails well and was very gentle. She was also very patient with me when I was trying to pick out colors and was super helpful in helping me decide colors. I wish i lived closer because if I did this would be my go-to spot. The place was clean, super nice and cute inside, and they have so many different options for nails-- gel, gel x, acrylic, chrome, and so many different colors and designs. The girls seem to really know what they are doing, I definitely recommend.
Booked online for a mani/pedi but when I walked in the staff was CONFUSED! They told me that they don't really use/check the online rsvp system and that I can just check-in on the tablet/iPad at the front register without really filling all of my information out. I verbalized what I was looking for and was immediately sat down as the staff decided amongst themselves of who was going to help me with my set. I was promptly given a menu of selections and a color palette to choose from. There wasn't much communication going on other than confirming the color and which of the menu items I wanted so if you're looking to get something specific done, SAY IT! Help them help you! Photo references help a tonnnn. I went for an emerald green cat eye gel on natural nails with no extra designs. Originally I wanted a gold French tips to go with it but GOD was the trial nail ugly. Super grateful for my manicurist showing me a preview of what it would look like and validating that it wasn't as great of an idea as it sounded haha. The whole experience was really fast and I paid about $50 for the mani/pedi each. + added a $10 tip for both the nail artists. But, one piece of advice, DO NOT get your cuticles cut. Every place is different. For here? It's a definite no. My pedicurist did a lovely job and was very careful with my toenails and surrounding skin which I was super grateful for. But my manicurist ended up cutting the skin off my pinky. I don't know if it was just too late in the day or what but I felt a really sharp pain during my manicure and when I looked over to see what it was, I immediately stopped her from continuing and told her I didn't want my cuticles to be cut. It took a little back and forth to get her to understand but gosh, despite my finger not bleeding from the surface level skin being cut, I sustained a wound that left my finger hurting for the next three days as I went on vacation and celebrated my birthday. Not something I was expecting and will be more cautious of next time. I did let the manicurist know that I wanted my cuticles pushed back and even motioned it out but despite all the nodding it wasn't done. So, before you walk in you might want to just quickly do it yourself. My nails grow fast and it's already showing a small gap between my cuticles and polish. For this price point, especially in the Bay Area, you can't beat it. Despite my injury, I'd still come back. Getting your nails done have become such an expensive luxury that I reserve it for special events. This place makes it so that I can afford to get it done more often if I wanted to. But remember, communicate and be attentive.
I decided to give this place a shot since they're open much earlier than other nail shops in the area - The shop is clean and there's also a sitting area if you're waiting to be seen. I was a little annoyed with the wait time just because I made an appointment beforehand and I still waited probably 15-20min. Nevertheless, I was seen by Hanna. She did do a good job on my nails and she was also very attentive. The three stars is because of the wait time and also the environment. As soon as I walked in and even just sitting down, I noticed their customers just staring at me. I know it's normal to see someone walk in... but to STARE? Pretty uncomfortable.
Tik tok Lounge is my regular go-to nail salon for my Mani/Pedi gel nails. I usually ask for Holly and Tony but any staff can accommodate you. You can go in as a walk-in or either call/book online through their website as well. Staff are friendly and the vibe is a comforting, clean, and spacious environment. I believe it is Vietnamese-owned. They offer either water, coffee, or tea, etc. Will definitely be back!
I've been getting my nails done here for over a year, and I've had nothing but amazing experiences! The whole team is super professional and truly knows what they're doing. Before finding this place, I used to get frustrated because my nails were always done too far from the cuticle, so they looked grown out right away -- but not here! At TikTok Nails, my manicures last beautifully, and I can easily go three weeks before needing a fill. Special shoutout to Tony and Herry -- they always do an incredible job and pay attention to every detail. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for quality, long-lasting nails and great customer service!
Vicky always makes sure I leave with a huge smile on my face. She follows the exact design I show her and goes above and beyond. I'd give Vicky a 10/10 I also got a pedicure done at tiktok lounge and unfortunately there was an enormous amount of puss and blood that came out when my nails fell off. very disappointed.

I got a full set of acrylic nails done, and less than just two weeks, the glue started lifting from the bottom. As you can see in the photo, there's a clear gap near the cuticle where the nail separated - and it wasn't just one nail. Hair kept getting caught in the gap, which was super annoying and made them look unclean. I expected them to last longer and feel more secure, but they started looking grown-out and messy way too soon. Definitely not worth the hassle. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I'm honestly so upset right now. I wish I never came here! I found this new nail spot through Yelp and wanted to like it. I left this place with not one cut, but TWO CUTS on both of my hands. ARE YOU SERIOUS???? Wtf. I look like I got worked on by Edward Scissorhands what the actual effff. I'm shocked at how horrible this nail experience was. I booked with Vicky because she had so many positive reviews on here and my experience was the WORST salon experience ever. The first time the lady cut me she used the file to literally file off the top layer of my skin on the side of my finger, OUCH! It hurt so bad but I was willing to forgive this even though it literally BURNED SO BAD every time alcohol and even soap/water touched it. I thought "oh honest mistake, it was an accident" in my head because I genuinely wanted to like this place. When she was finally done I washed my hands with soap and water and it BURNED sooo bad, I was wincing but I decided to wrap my finger in tissue and not make it an issue. I was happy with my nails and ready to pay and leave when she decided to cut the paint off of the side of my fingers. WHY CUT IT OFF??? WHO KNOWS, the paint literally comes off the skin with light rubbing or in the shower but NO cuticle cutters were used and you guessed it, OUCH! SLICED the corner of my finger on the other hand and blood starting pooling out. LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS???? I was literally SHOCKED that the lady cut me not one time but TWO freaking TIMES and on BOTH of my HANDS. I work around food and people/germs all day and now I can't even go to work comfortably bcus I'm freaked out I will be exposed by TWO CUTS on BOTH of my hands. Honestly WHAT THE FFFFF??? I'm SHOCKED. After she cut me the SECOND time I was literally SPEECHLESS, I used to go to get my nails done all the time at other places and I've never had such a terrible experience! I usually tip $15 automatically but I tipped $7 on $65 and even that was TOO much. I shouldn't have even tipped at all with how bad it was. I'm livid. Not to mention the fact that I never even received a manicure to begin with and the girl didn't even wash my hands before she started working on them. What kind of place is this? No hand soak, no hand wash, no hand massage, NOTHING. I'm lucky my nails were clean. She drilled off my cuticles and didn't even push my cuticles back before she started either. She didn't ask me for a photo reference nor the color I wanted. I told her I wanted "white" and I was glad she picked the right shade. I called my bf immediately after I left to tell him HOW AWFUL my experience here was, getting cut up left and right. I'm appalled. &My bf said "Oh no! Are you okay? Did they at least give you a discount?" Now I'm even more mad bcus I never even thought about how I should've received a discount for the multiple cuts on my fingers that I received. &He said "YOU STILL TIPPED? You shouldn't have tipped at all" &Honestly he's right! I told my mom and she said I should not have tipped either and why are they cutting my fingers up like that. That the lady probably "needs glasses." I'm a honest person and I still paid and tipped even though I had a terrible experience. But I will neverrrrr be returning here ever. I just wanted to get a nice manicure now I'm putting hydrogen peroxide on my multiple cuts on my fingers hoping they heal before work tomorrow. She gave me a band aid and said sorry, but sorry does NOT help my pain and inconvenience caused by this carelessness. What an AWFUL experience. Also she applied my bandage wrong, instead of putting the soft part to stop the blood she put the adhesive on top of the cut so the blood dripped on the side of my finger instead.. I agree with my mom she definitely needs glasses or just did not use care at all. Also a heads up they don't give a cash discount here, which most salons usually do. read more

This was my first time coming here, and I made an appointment with Vicky. I had seen her amazing nail work on Yelp, website, and insta and she definitely exceeded my expectations! I've been to so many nail salons where the staff is rude and doesn't interact with you, but Vicky is the sweetest and most talented nail tech ever!! Not only does she take her time to make sure your nails are perfect, but she also has such a fun and uplifting personality--singing and dancing while she works. I love her energy. && On the way out, she even gave me a hug. If you're looking for a nail tech who's kind, talented, and truly cares about her clients, Vicky is the best! I stumbled across this place when my regular nail salon was too busy, I thought I'd give it a try back in February and I haven't looked back. I've gotten my nails done here 3 times since then and every single time I've loved the service and atmosphere in here. Vicky is always amazing and pays attention to every detail, all three sets I've gotten were done by her! For my second set, Vicky suggested that I try gel-x since my nails were damaged from getting acrylics and ever since then I really loved getting gel-x! Overall, all the staff are pretty nice! They always offer me refreshments at the beginning of my service, which I've never experienced from other salons before. I recommended booking an appointment on a day where you have the time though because sometimes even with an appointment I still have to wait a bit, but I absolutely don't mind at all! Was looking for a spot to get my nails done for Valentine's Day and am so beyond happy I found this place. I requested a specific design because I've been really into those Korean Jelly color nails and my amazing nail tech Vicky did an amazing job. Just look at the freaking photo I'm literally obsessed. Love this place so much and it's now my go to nail and lash place! For starters I got a wispy cat eye set by Nina and she did such a good job. She was very sweet and gentle and honestly I was falling asleep during the whole appointment because of how relaxed I was. The choice of nail designs and colors are great and there's always something new to try. Anytime I get my nails done by Cindy I feel like I have nails a celebrity would have. The overall vibe and aesthetic of the shops is so clean and modern I love being there. From their wall decor to mini snack bar it's so easy to be there for hours. After 2 years of not getting my nails done, Vicky gave me the best acrylic set I've ever had! She was so sweet and funny and it helps that she's incredible at her job. I love it here! This place is beautiful with the best vibes. I love how spacious the place is, and their massage chairs are so comfy! I was so happy to see Cindy, she is always so welcoming and she never disappoints with her work. She was my go to at the previous location she worked at so I followed. Although I didn't schedule with her this time around, I was able to work with Vivian for the first time. Vivian was super detailed, and I love her work! The shape is beautiful and the way she styled the cat eye glitter on my nails is so pretty. I also got a pedicure and I apologize for forgetting to ask for her name, but she was super detailed and her massage was fabulous! I felt so fresh and comfy. This is my new spot.
