Consistently poor experience - Skin damage and lack of care I am writing this review to express my deep frustration regarding the services at this salon, as my experiences have been consistently poor. My negative history with this salon goes back a year, when two women performed a wax service on my hand. They were in such a hurry to finish that they didn't bother to be gentle at all; it felt as though they were performing the service on an animal or a non-living object. They were absolutely brutal, and when they caused the injury shown in **image_9.png**, they were completely unbothered, acting as if it were a normal occurrence. More recently, I have had terrible experiences with a particular beautician for threading. Every time I have been forced to use her services, she nicks my skin during the upper lip and chin threading, leading to multiple areas of bleeding. As seen in the attached photos , my skin has been left with several painful, bleeding marks and abrasions. What is most frustrating is the total lack of accountability. After causing these cuts, she claimed she was removing "ingrown hairs," even though I could clearly see there were no ingrown hairs in those areas. It seems she lacks the necessary technique to thread properly, especially around the curves of the face. Due to her recurring lack of care, I have been left with permanent scars and pigmentation on my face. You have literally spoiled my skin, and the results are truly disgusting. It is unacceptable that I am left with bleeding skin and the risk of further scarring every time I see her. I have tried to avoid her, but on the occasions when no one else was available, I gave her another chance, only to have the same painful experience. The staff needs to be much gentler, as this level of skin trauma is not normal for a professional service. I have officially decided to stop coming to this salon because I cannot risk further damage to my skin. read more

I have generally had a good experience with this salon and it has been my regular go to salon for the past so many years. Yesterday, i booked an appointment and went there for a haircut and the hairdresser Abhishek made me feel so unwelcome and was constantly complaining about how the other customer was getting neglected because i was there. He was very rude to me. The salon tends to overbook customers which results in an unwelcome and a very poor experience. I will not visit this salon in the future. read more

Eyebrow threading costs $9. Cheap, right? Yeah you get what you pay for. The girl didn't bother to ask how I'd like my eyebrows to be. She went ahead and threaded. When she finished, my eyebrows ended up not the same. One side was higher than the other. When I asked her to fix it, she said "well it'd be thinner than the other side." Extremely Rude and unapologetic Owner. At first compels you to pay by cash , if you don't pay with cash they charge you 30% additional fees with card for eyebrows/upper lips. On questioning their act she says don't come to our salon if you think it's unjust. I have been a customer since a couple of years as I appreciate the work of one of her employees, and still get to hear such negative words. They made one eyebrow thick and other thin - I don't think that's a natural explanation because my eyebrows certainly were'nt like that when I came in. I love going here to get my eyebrows done. Parking: fairly small parking lot, but I'm usually able to get parking whenever I'm here. Location: it's near several buildings such as churches, the great mall, taco bell, etc. In order to get to the location, you go through a busy street, so it's a bit difficult to get out of the parking lot. Inside: the inside could be cleaner, but since the only thing I usually get done here is my eyebrows, I don't really mind. Service: at times, you could wait for about 19 to 15 minutes if there's a line. However, for me, it's worth the wait. There's this one particular lady that I prefer to go to. Unfortunately, I cannot recall her name. I tell her beforehand, that I just want her to clean my eyebrows, that I like it thick and that I don't want them to thread the front portion of my eyebrows. The lady always listens to what I request and I'm always happy with the results. After they thread my eyebrows, they put aloe on it to decrease any redness and they give me a mirror, so that I can see how it looks like. Poor waxing skills. Hairs break when they pull. They question back if you request them to be cautious. I stopped coming here when saloon on Bernando Ave charged me for chocolate wax and did regular wax. The lady denied even after asking a few times. Expensive for sure! Hair color root touch up was $85. And it was a root touch up, not full hair color. On their website they mention $50. When I asked, they said the Ammonia free touch up is $85. I can understand if there is a slight price change compared to whats posted on the website, but this is a not a small bump. I've gone in here a few times during the weekend as a walk-in, parking was no problem, place is clean. Waited maybe 10 minutes max before getting served. I'm not one for small talk, so they're great in that regard. :) They're quick and do a good job threading, but I thought they're priced just slightly higher than other salons - which wasn't a big deal since each time I needed brows done that day due to my hectic schedule. If your a guy, you get charged an extra 2 to 3 dollars for a thread. Doesn't make sense to me since there are also some ladies out there that have a lot of hair on their brows too. I went in for threading. The staff did not seem very welcoming. None of them greeted properly or even smiled. I kept asking to give me a mirror so I can see my eyebrows but they rejected to do so. I booked an appointment for full wax. Nobody asked my name or contact number so I thought that's how it might be. I went there and they asked 50 questions when did you book, did you cancel, is it only wax or facial too. The lady who spoke on phone was very sweet calling me baby and stuff. I go there at least once a month for eyebrow threading. The new management is definitely better than the previous one but today the girl who did my eyebrows ruined one side. While working on my eyebrows she said my eyebrows are so uneven! What she didn't realize is that she was the one who did it last time. She probably said that when she realized she ruined one side. Upon talking to her about a bunch of hair missing from one side, she insolently insisted that she didn't do it and that's how it was. I showed her how it looked red as the hair was just plucked out of there, she insisted she didn't do it and walked away to the register.
