I booked a head massage with a mini facial with Jessica, and it was absolutely amazing. Jessica is incredibly professional, gentle, and very skilled. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the session and created a very relaxing and calming experience. It has been a while, but I have to write this review after the research I did. I got a HIFU treatment, and it was extremely painful, which at the time I felt was normal because I was communicating with the practitioner. I was always taught that whenever getting a treatment, you let the practitioner know what you are feeling so they can adjust the settings. You let them know if you can feel something or not, how it feels, and if the treatment should be non-painful; they will adjust it, but they will also adjust if the treatment is supposed to be a little painful. Some treatments are tolerance-based. Well, I was letting her know that I could not feel it, not knowing if I should or not. I suppose she got offended, and this is why she increased the Joules to 3. After doing research, I discovered this setting should never be used on the face and could cause tissue death. It is used purely in a medical setting to destroy tumors. When it was done, I explained to her why I was letting her know I could not feel it. She looked shocked and concerned. Now I know why. I got really, really, really blessed. My skin did not die, nor did my face get disfigured. God did me a solid. He really did take care of me. read more

I wasn't able to send a direct message so decided to just write an updated review on here. First of all, I have the right to write a review weeks after the incident. My original post was sitting in my draft file a few days after my appointment because I have been traveling. I left the states the next day so didn't have time to write a throughout review until recently. I do want to mention that I did tell the staff to stop when I was in pain, but she said she was almost done. It wasn't the case, so I had to just tell her to stop and that I had to go. She did apologize, but I was pretty upset at that point. I do agree with you that I should've mentioned my dissatisfaction to the staff after the appointment, but to be honest, I was running late to another appointment and wanted to get out of there as fast as I can. I am still upset about what happened and the fact that I have to justify to you about "correct statements that don't align with what actually occurred" baffles me. I understand that you want to get a better sense of the situation and improve your services, this is not the correct way to handle it. read more

Wow! What a gem of a place. My mom and I decided to have a mother-daughter day and found a Groupon voucher for a 75min experience. It included a 30min facial + 45min head spa. This was a great way to check out the establishment and I highly recommend it. Minutes into my facial and I wanted to rate this place 5 stars. Even though the head spa portion was highly anticipated, I actually enjoyed my facial the most! Lien had excellent technique and left my face glowy, scars lightened and de puffed. The massage portions were perfect pressure and left me melting into a bliss. I will be booking another facial with Lien asap and a head spa service for my fiancé. I rarely leave negative reviews, but please AVOID because it BURNED MY SKIN. During the detox facial, my face became extremely red and painful, and the stinging continued even after switching to a hydro-facial. I've been to V&Co, Cathea Esthetics, and Yun Esthetics, and this has never happened to me before. The pain was so intense that I had to stop the service early. There was no intake process--no one asked about my skincare routine or allergies until after my face was already burning. The manager repeatedly dismissed my concerns and blamed me, insisting it was due to retinol use and Acutane, even though I hadn't used retinol for over a month and I have never been on Acutane in my life The environment also felt unsanitary, with hair on the bed when I arrived, and the manager confirmed there are security cameras over the facial beds where clients change, which is extremely uncomfortable. Despite my chemical burn, the manager still expected me to pay (offering only a "discount"), which was shocking and unacceptable. I understand that mistakes can happen, but it was the way the manager handled the situation that was unacceptable. The customer service was awful. Had they been professional and compassionate, I would have easily let it go and maybe even given the place a second chance. TLDR: a painful treatment that chemically burned my face, poor hygiene, and unprofessional, dismissive management. Not recommended. read more

She let me know the technician before did not meet their business standards and no longer works at TD Beauty Spa. I would say there were some things that were definitely better but some things that fell short of my expectations again. Unfortunately, I also encountered a very off putting interaction with the owner. Pros 1. The location has moved into a newer, modern building that feels much more professional. 2. The added space provides more privacy when changing. 3. The environment was quieter and more relaxing than before which I greatly cherished! Cons 1. The complimentary service was a 60-minute head spa with a mini facial, but the service was mostly facial with little focus on the head spa portion. If this is the standard offering, it would feel lacking for paying customers. 2. The massage portion, which previously included massaging tools; head massager and scratcher, was skipped entirely this time. 3. My hair was left frizzy after the blow-dry, as the Dyson hair straightener wasn't used as intended. I asked the technician to use it correctly and she said okay but didn't change what she was doing. At the end of the service, I waited to speak with the owner. Although she was on a phone call, she politely set it aside to address me, which I valued. For context, I was in a bit of a rush since the service ran about 15 minutes longer than expected (not a complaint, just noting the timing). The owner then asked me to either remove or update my previous review and requested that I show proof of doing so before leaving, as a condition for the service to remain complimentary. While I understand the cost of offering a free service, being required to alter or remove a review in that manner felt transactional and insincere. It made the final moments of my experience uncomfortable. Overall, my rating remains the same primarily because of the uncomfortable interaction at the end, which made the complimentary service feel more transactional than genuine. Additionally, the cons of this visit still outweighed the pros in my experience. I greatly appreciate the effort to make things right, but I hope future customers aren't placed in a similar situation. read more

Hieu Diep was my masseuse and she was super nice. Actually the whole staff was super nice and never tried to upsell or chat with each other while I was there. I purposely wore a tank top so I wouldn't have to fully undress. When my masseuse came into the room she said my towel wasn't pulled down enough and pulled it more, exposing my breast, and then pulled it back up. I wrote it off as a mistake and continued with the service. The service was ok - it was more of a facial than a head massage. The waterfall portion lasts for max 2 mins. When the service was over instead of leaving me alone to redress like every other massage parlor I've been to, the masseuse pulled down my top revealing my breasts and slid open the curtain. I felt violated and gross. I had to scramble to cover up since she literally opened the whole curtain I will never be back. read more

Bought Groupon tickets for a birthday group. And I must say most Groupons I've bought have been good. Unfortunately this was a complete miss, the place looks sketch. Place is small and since we were a large group only 4 at time and two were sent to the other location. Let's get to my experience first of all the other group finished. Not sure if this place is sanitary, we're unsure if they even changed any sheets, blankets or even the robe you put on. First off we did the 45 minute scalp massage that comes with scalp analysis. Those were all off so I had to ask her to do it. Took her 5 minutes to figure out how to turn it on. You're doing scalp massages and we had appointments but you didn't have it on nor were you gonna do it if I didn't ask. Our group of 11 I was the only one to receive it because I was the one to ask. This is not my first scalp massage so I knew what to expect. I was hoping for the best scalp massage after seeing yelp, tik tok and Groupon unfortunately it was the worst experience ever. She tells me you have dry scalp and oily oh very dirty like what!!! Who tells their client that. Secondly I paid for a 45 minute scalp massage not a 10 minute massage and 30 minute blow dry. If that's the case I would've went to a hair salon. My scalp massage I do like deep pressure however she gave me a claw like massage in one motion where my scalp feels like she scrapped my scalp in one direction. Feel like wolverine did my massage no exaggeration she used her nails instead of her finger tips. This place was unprofessional and you pay for what you get. She dropped so many instruments who knows if she used those dirty instruments on my scalp. I'm pretty sure that do not sterilized their bowls and hair supplies on each client. Would not recommend this place ever!!!!! Would not come back either . I had to stop her from drying my hair cause I was so disappointed I spent money for a 10 minute wash. And a 5 minute neck Shoulder wash . There was no privacy I left to change in the bathroom and she said don't leave I said I'm going to The bathroom to change I'll bring the robe back. She asked if I liked it and I said No she asked again and I still said no my scalp was hurting! The biggest reason for my low rating is the intense scalp scraping--no lathering, no real massage--just dragging nails with pressure from the base of the scalp upward. It was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've had in a "spa" setting. I'm not tender-headed, but the number of times my hair was pulled had me tensing up instead of relaxing. They also detangled my wet-to-damp hair using only fingers, no brush, which was painful and damaging. The space feels very makeshift--treatment beds are separated by pony walls and curtains in a long hallway. While their menu lists many services, the setup doesn't seem suited for it all. On the plus side, the facial, shoulder, and neck work was decent, and I did appreciate how they worked into the hairline and behind the ears for a unique touch. Overall, this was way too rough for me. I'd strongly recommend checking how they handle scalp treatments and verifying qualifications before booking--this place is for people fine with aggressive techniques, not those seeking a gentle, relaxing spa day. read more

Found this place thru Groupon. I got the Facial and Head Spa Treatment. When I first came into the studio there was no one there to greet me. Looks like they are doing some remodeling. Starting my Facial ; they did do a brief introduction of what we will be doing. However there they didn't do any introduction during each phase of the facial ( I personally would like to know what is being applied on my face). I also notice that my esthetician clean blackhead on one side of my nose and not the other. Didn't feel great. Happen during the Head Spa session as well. There was two locations ( Both in the same plaza) for different treatment. If you are looking for a place that feel and look super nice. This is probably not not the place. Aside from the remodeling location the other location felt really cramped and packed. Unfortunately but for my first time experience the hot water didn't work ( I didn't mind too much). There was a huge construction noise so I couldn't really relax. However even with all that. I will come again. This place is definitely worth a second chance. My esthetician had the perfect pressure during my head spa. The nails running through my scalp. She had Great skills. I did hope for a little more pressure on the neck and shoulder massage. I saw this place on Groupon after my original head spa appointment somewhere else fell through because they never booked me. I needed something last minute and they were able to fit me in the same day. Han at the front desk was super nice and attentive when I called which I really appreciated. I was assigned to Tammy and she was amazing. She was so gentle and always made sure the pressure was okay. Usually when I get my hair done or a massage the person can be a bit rough but this was the total opposite. It was so relaxing I actually fell asleep. I read the reviews and decided to go in on a Thursday for a lash tint and lash perm. My appointment was at 5 pm and I didn't get done until 7 pm. A whole 2 hours for a procedure that is supposed to take 40 mins. The lady who did my eyelash was busy helping other clients. I felt like my time wasn't respected and I wasn't able to do anything but lay there. After waiting 2 hours, my lashes barely permed AND you couldn't even see that they were dyed. Not to mention, since I was neglected, my lashes were over processed. The owner Tien did offer me complimentary service for the next time but unfortunately I won't be coming back. I had a 10AM lash lift appointment, arrived early, and was left waiting 20 minutes because the technician (TIEN) scheduled didn't show up. Another technician (HIEU) stepped in, and the session took 2 HOURS instead of 40 MINS. Despite all that time, my lashes weren't curled -- only two lashes had any noticeable curl at all. An eyelash curler at home can do a better job. I've done lash lifts before and know what to expect. SEE PICS. They performed **THREE rounds of processing**, which raised concerns about the safety of my lashes. There were a few times where I flinched and said oww because she poked my eyelid or dropped something on my face. The technician also left STICKY RESIDUE around my eyes and didn't communicate much during the process. SEE PICS. They kept telling my bf "10 more minutes" while he waited, and even he was disappointed when he saw the results. He even asked, "I thought you were getting your lashes done?? What did they do??" I was offered to stay longer, but after wasting most of my morning, I couldn't justify spending more time there and had to head out to my planned activities. They rescheduled me for Monday, but not sure if it's worth going back. Could it be any different if they're using the same shit? The receptionist agreed that there was no lift and still asked for payment. I just want a refund for this AWFUL experience. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR LASH LIFTS.
