I come here once to every 3 months. The staff is very nice and they have so many different options to choose from. It is best to come before your massage unless you have time after because they have many co ed options like the salt/clay and cold room and then if you want they also have steam , sauna and jacuzzi in the girls locker room. I happened to have found this location by luck via Google search for a massage. The location was a little confusing at first because there isn't really a sign that tells you you're at the right place. You have to use the intercom to talk to someone. #300 is their number. I came in not knowing anything about the place. I just saw massage and I went straight there. When I checked in at the front, I found out it's a Korean Spa. The venue is clean, peaceful, relaxing, and the staff are extremely kind. I got an hour massage session with Nick. He was great, but he started talking a lot about Chinese history that predates X dynasty My session started off very relaxing and then I couldn't truly relax because I was having a conversation with him. I did mention this to the front staff and they appreciated my feedback and thanked me for being honest. There is an area where to can sit in the lobby and enjoy their complimentary water and hot tea. They also sell other beverages. I wish they would sell something to eat too. This is also the only place where phone use is allowed. They have a clay/charcoal room, salt room, and cold room in the main lobby area. Inside the locker room, there is a jacuzzi, saunas, showers, and body scrub area. AVOID!! I'd give them ZERO STARs, if I could!!! My gfs and I planned a fun Galentine's spa day the week before Valentine's. We saw that they were listed (top billing) as a participating spa on the Spa Week website, where you can buy gift certificates. When we called to schedule our appointments and mentioned the gift cards they said they no longer accept them. Furthermore, they were insisting that we pre-pay for our services. We found this very strange - I get taking credit card info to avoid a no-show, but I've never experienced paying for a spa service up front! When we questioned the gift card s. acceptance, the receptionist, Jasmin, didn't apologize, didn't try to make it better, but copped an attitude and said, "Yeah, we need to remove ourselves from there." Well, you didn't, so that's false advertising. I explained how hearing this would be upsetting, especially since we had this day planned. She said she was just the messenger, so asked to speak to the manager or owner, who had decision making authority. She said there's wasn't;t any manager there (?!) that it was her day off, but she would reach out to her and have them give me a call - great! I was getting nervous as our appts were approaching, but I finally received a call back. The girl on the other end of the phone said her name was Jen and immediately said, without any pleasantries and apology, "we don't accept those gift cards." Again, I stated that their spa is listed, top billing, as a participating Santa Monica spa. With a little further questioning, she then let it slip that she wasn't the Manager. She was the esthetician, who didn't want to lose the appointment (or accept a discounted gift certificate - we know how it works).So, she was impersonating someone?! I told her I was expecting a call from a Manager, someone with decision making authority, and to call me back when they were able to reach her - this was all. waste of time. Right before our appts, we still hadn't heard back, so we decided to show up for our scheduled appts. We get to the spa, which has an intercom system to be buzzed in, and they wouldn't answer the door. They knew it was us, as they had wide open afternoon appts (not a good sign of a thriving spa, just saying!). They not only wasted our money, but also our time. Reading up on the owner, she has been involved in various other scams. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT COMING HERE!!!!! We ended up going to The Massage Center o n Sawtelle, which I highly recommend.I understand not wanted to accept gift certificates from a third party source, because it's a discounted profit, but, in that case, take yourself off of the site, because it's either false advertising on the website's end or fraud on your end Tikkun. I think this place is ok and only worth coming to if you're west side and don't wanna drive all the way to K town. It's in a basement with no natural light and very limited rooms compared to a Korean spa yet the price doesn't reflect that. The women walking me around said 2 rooms were saunas which just weren't lol they were like mildly warm and small. The hot tub also looked like it needed a deeper clean. My scrub was very good. Wow, truly a hidden gem. I came here for the first time earlier this week and had no idea this place existed despite having lived in Santa Monica for over 10 years. I can't believe I spent so many years driving to Korea town, when a place that is smaller/less crowded with better treatments was in my own neighborhood! Everything about my experience was A+ - the folks at the front desk were super welcoming and got me oriented very quickly, the facilities were all immaculate, and best of all, on a weekday afternoon, I had the pool/sauna/rooms pretty much all to myself. I did the 60 minute Tikkun Signature Treatment with Kim and it was fantastic - I've had many Korean scrubs over the years, but hers was by far the best, with an appropriate amount of pressure (I realize now how many other places are just too aggressive with this treatment). I found the online booking system a bit wonky to navigate, and ended up calling to book, which was way easier and they actually offered me better time slots than what I saw online, so that might be a better way to book. I will definitely go back here and plan to get one of their spa memberships. (The only thing that could have been better would have been if someone from the front desk asked a guy hanging out in the common lounge area to get off his cell phone, but thankfully the call he had was rather short, but was audible in all of the rooms near the lounge,) read more

Terrible experience. I got the gold journey package with the gold scrub, massage, facial, and wrap. I think the wrap was probably the only thing I couldn't compare to anything else, but the facial was terrible - I think her name was Ailene. She didn't massage my face at all and only just added the lotion. She also stepped away for some time and didn't add the time to my experience. The scrub was the worst I've had too - I guess NYC probably spoiled me, because Korean scrubs there actually remove dirt. Now the massage - I told her where I needed her to focus and she just ignored it. I also asked her to use pressure. She did not do either. She just touched my back with gentle pressure. It was so bad that I actually went and booked a massage at a different place a few doors down right after I left. I just left this place, treated myself for some serenity and self care on my birthday. I made the appointment today, last minute after doing a Google search, I was not going to go all the way to Olympic Spa from the West Side. Fortunately they were able to accommodate me for a 5:30 pm appointment, they close at 8 pm. Anyway, I had some issues with Uber, long story short I got to the Spa late, at 5:44 pm. My husband got me a 90 mins scrub and hot oil massage as well as a 60 mins facial for my birthday. Never in my 30+ years had I done scrub before and I'm so happy that I tried it here. Yumi is super friendly and knowledgeable. She has over 20 years of experience and really made me felt very relaxed and pampered. My skin felt ridiculously soft after and even the redness/bumps were so much smoother. After my body scrub and massage I went to enjoy the salt room and clay room. Very clean rooms and I had the whole place to myself to enjoy. Then Sammy gave me the Korean contouring facial for 60 mins. She literally has the best skin I have ever seen just like those on Korean drama. She massaged and pampered my skin all the way from neck/shoulder and up and my skin felt super soft after the facial. She even taught me a little trick so I can safely clean my black heads at home without enlarging the pores. I have quite sensitive skin but everything she used were very gentle so I didn't fell any discomfort afterwards. Overall it was such a nice experience to finally fully relax my body and take care of myself especially after the quarantine. Definitely worth every penny in my opinion. A friend and I were in Santa Monica today on the hunt for a facial spot. We were around the block to this place and made a quick call. The person answering the phone was super helpful and friendly about booking 2 within the next hour or so. Now I'm thinking this is some small standard looking massage hole in the wall but we were greeted with an actual professional spa, intimately sized but still a great surprise. I was given a change of clothes and a locker room with a seriously nice steam room, great showers, and my own locker. From there they showed me a little lounge area and 3 types of heat/cold rooms. None of the rooms are big but they get the job done. There was clay, salt and cold rooms. Jen came over and introduced herself and brought me to the room for my facial contouring session. She was super sweet and very talented. It was actually one of the best hours I've had in a while! She was very knowledgeable and just took the time in making sure I was comfortable. My face looks great! Thanks again Jen!! Can't wait to come back. So on another note my nose has been running all night, it's like the facial contouring opened up the flood gates... Hopefully it doesn't last long but maybe just be aware if you got stuff to do maybe choose the right day for this? I visit Tikkun spa when I need to treat myself and in need of a relaxing afternoon. The owner Niki is so friendly and welcoming. The space is very clean and never too busy. Niki will remind you but I can't emphasize this enough --- make sure to visit at least 45 minutes before your treatment start time to use all the amenities, such as the steam room and sauna in the gender-specific locker rooms, and the variety of healing rooms in the common area. I've had the 60- and 90-minute massages and the therapists are always top notch. The treatments aren't cheap but are well worth it considering the quality and access to amenities at the spa. read more

I went for a Divine Alignment session with Ramona - she evaluates your walk at the beginning and determines what areas to work on. It was very relaxing and I really felt connected to my mind/body/spirit. During the session, I even had visions which was pretty cool. After my session, I felt taller, my posture was significantly better, I felt so relaxed and connected to my mind/body. My sleep improved, I had way less anxiety, and overall I just feel better. I love this spa and everything it offers. I recently had a treatment here at Tikkun called the Divine Alignment with Ramona. This treatment is so special because of Ramona's phenomenal intuition. Just by simply walking across the room she was able to quickly and accurately get a feel for my posture, analyze areas where I am tense and also my facial structure. And with various techniques including reiki, sound therapy and her very specific and precise light massage she was able to relieve tension and being to fix a slight rotation in my rib cage. Also throughout the treatment she educates you and explains how everything is connected. The way energy is stored in your body when your systems are not alined. After my treatment I left feeling light, renewed, and a release of tension that I didn't even realize I carried.
