The Loop was MY Secret for years. It is a gift to our community: professional, clean, and all around AMAZING. Each massage therapist has their own technique, so find someone who does exactly what you want. The greeter always asks if you want soft, medium or hard, and where on your body you would like to focus. You have to speak up for yourself, after 5 minutes if you find it's not right for you & if you are unhappy, don't wait for the massage to be over to complain When I read negative reviews, I feel outraged. It's on you to speak up. Enjoy!! read more

I went here for the first time last month and really enjoyed my massage! My masseuse checked in with me throughout to make sure I was comfortable, relaxed, and enjoying the experience. I was taken back pretty quickly after checking in at the front, and everyone I interacted with was so kind and welcoming. My only complaint was the location of my room. I was in the first room to the right of a pretty loud sliding door. The noise itself wasn't too bad, but every time the door opened I could feel a cold breeze come in, which was a little distracting during a massage. It also felt like one wrong move and the curtain to the room could accidentally be opened lol. I'd definitely go back, but next time I'm specifically requesting a room AWAY from that door! read more

This place is such a hidden gem! I booked a 45 min full body massage with a female masseuse. The lady at the reception area was very sweet and confirmed if I still wanted to do a 45 min massage and my preference on full body or upper body. She also asked for my preferred intensity level (soft, medium, or firm). It is a small space so there are multiple stations in the back that are nicely decorated. I met Sophia, my masseuse, and she began right away. It was very relaxing and Sophia did incredible! I will definitely be returning. Business does prefer cash payments, but also take card payment. There are 1 hour meter parking at the main road Ocean Park Blvd. read more

We had a very disappointing experience at this massage place. We made a 2:00 PM appointment and arrived about 10 minutes early. Since the waiting area was small and we didn't want to disturb other customers, we politely let the front desk know we had arrived, then stepped just a few feet outside the entrance while waiting. We never left the area. A few minutes later, an employee called and asked if we were ready. We immediately responded because we were right outside. However, we were then told that they had already given our room to another customer because they thought we had left, and there was no longer any room available for us. Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility for the misunderstanding, the front desk simply told us to cancel our appointment. We had driven all the way there, arrived early, and still ended up receiving no service at all. When I asked to speak with the manager, the employee claimed she was the boss. I knew the business has a different owner, so I asked who the owner was. She then changed her response and said she would let the owner know. What made the experience even worse was her attitude. She mentioned that they are very busy on Fridays and weekends, which made it seem like they didn't value our business because they already had enough customers. Good businesses don't stop caring about customer service just because they're busy. We wasted our time driving there, arrived early for our appointment, and were treated with disrespect instead of receiving a simple apology or any effort to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this business. read more

I always have an amazing experience here! The atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. My massage therapist, Lily, was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive, professional, and made sure the pressure was perfect throughout the entire session. My other favorite massage therapist is Coco! read more

Incredible service from the receptionist to all of the massage therapists. Amazing massage, amazing prices.

Bill is so great! The best massage I've received in LA! I never have to tell him what's going on with my body, he just finds it. Great deep pressure. So professional. He's the best around! I hate when he goes out of town! read more

I have frozen shoulders that are thawing, and I have been seeing Bill once a week. He has incredibly strong hands. It's one of the most painful massages I've ever experienced, but in the very best way (I get elbow-dig, deep-tissue work, too), and I wouldn't want it any other way. Every time I leave, I gain more mobility in my arm, shoulder, and neck. The Loop is clean, cozy, and simple (with curtains closed for privacy). If you're easily distracted, you might sometimes hear other massages happening in the semi-open area. The front desk staff are always cheerful and kind. And everyone is punctual. I tip 30%, considering how low the starting prices are for the massages and how hard the masseuses work. read more

I love this place. It's very reasonably priced and they stay open late (perfect for someone who deserves a massage after a long day of work). The masseuse took really good care of me and I felt like all of my knots were massaged out of me. I'm already planning my next appointment to come. 10/10 read more

LOVE this place! I slept wrong and was in so much pain, but Bill the male massage therapist fixed me up like magic & I'm so grateful! Also front desk is super sweet. Always a treat coming here, highly recommend! read more

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. When I arrived, the receptionist asked what pressure I preferred, and I clearly said "soft." However, once the massage started, the therapist used hard pressure. I repeatedly asked -- at least four times -- for softer pressure, but my requests were ignored and she continued doing what she wanted. She didn't even massage properly -- it felt like she was just doing compressions the entire time. At one point, she got on top of me and started using her knees, which I did not ask for. My boyfriend's therapist did not do anything like that, so it made the experience even more concerning. On top of that, she began stretching me in a way that exposed my chest, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and violated my sense of privacy. Throughout the entire session, she also kept talking and asking me personal questions about my tattoos, which completely took away from any chance to relax. Overall, this experience felt unprofessional, uncomfortable, and disrespectful of my boundaries. I would not return. The receptionist did not charge me for this massage so I guess thats cool. read more

Great massage every time. Clean, comfortable. Welcoming and friendly staff. A lot of excellent massage therapists so can almost always accommodate. Very good price - definitely a good value. read more

Parking can be a bit tricky on this side of the business because of residential permit parking, but across the street where the park is, you should be able to find parking. Make sure that you park on the no permit side! I love how the rooms are setup, it is quite vibey with the flowy curtains. Like most massage places, it is open air, so you might hear some minor noises, people snoring, the usual haha Their deals are amazing, 90 minute for $80 cash is unreal. They will always ask you if its too light or too hard, be honest! You are a paying customer and quite frankly so many people wait till its over to comment that they didn't get "the massage" that they were seeking. Communication is key! Overall the staff is very friendly and quick to help, my cousin and I went and we left feeling brand spanking new! I uploaded the service options and pricing, so give it a go! Also lots of small restaurants, a market, bakery, pizzeria, ice cream place, bagel shop across the way to keep you busy while you wait. read more

I read all these great reviews and thought to give this place a chance. I have a lot of tension and ache in my neck and shoulders and had told the masseuse to focus on those parts. Unfortunately she did not listen to my request and mainly massaged my back with her arms and on top of that she did not give a foot massage which i had assumed was part of the package. I did not leave rejuvenated and still have so much tension in my neck. Not sure if I'd give this place a chance again. read more

My go to massage place for a massage. The prices are great and pretty affordable for the quality. The people who own it are so kind and inviting. We love that they offer couples rooms and really make sure that you are comfortable. Recommend to everyone! read more

It looks small and unassuming from the street, but inside it's a lot larger than it seems. My husband and I went for a couples massage and I wanted more pressure and him less. They nailed it. I didn't get the elbow dig "deep tissue". I got a true muscular deep tissue. The next day I want sore at all. Both my husband and I nodded off during the massage - and that never happens! read more

I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately...you get what you pay for. The front desk woman was very friendly. The masseuse herself did not even introduce herself and there appeared to be a substantial language barrier. That made it very hard to communicate what I needed and wanted from the massage. I asked for a deep tissue massage and definitely did not get that. I also asked the massage therapist to avoid a few areas like my neck, and the front desk woman translated for me, but she kept ignoring that so I had to keep moving away and asking her to stop. I left feeling like I wasted my money and time. read more

I go here for frequent massages. I think it's really good, massages are great and everyone is kind. The only thing I wish that could be different is if it could be more quiet/serene that way I can focus on relaxing, that's more of a guest courtesy issue rather than the business issue though. I would just bring ear plugs if you are the type to need silence during your massage. read more

Loved this place for affordable yet high quality massages!! The receptionist was so kind and the space was very clean and peaceful. My masseuse Anne was great and the pressure was perfect. Can't wait to go back! read more

Amazing massage therapists - the staff is kind and professional. Every time I come regardless of who I have the massages are amazing. The price is so good and I love that they use the hot stones and even massage your face and cranium. It is our new go to spot weekly! read more

My boyfriend and I make it a point to get a massage every time we visit LA. We recently tried this place and were thoroughly impressed. The prices are great and the front desk staff is incredibly friendly. Amy and Gia, the massage therapists were amazing. We opted for the couple massage, which was incredibly relaxing. We'll definitely be returning! read more

Do yourself a favor and go here. So reasonably priced and fab massage. I've never had a bad masseuse

I get massages pretty often since I bodybuild , I Saw the good reviews so I said why not there's more good ones than bad ones so it's gotta be a good spot right ...... lol I Didn't want to leave a review but I have to be honest , the receptionist lady is probably one of the best receptionist lady's I've encountered , very nice , accommodating , friendly, she has great energy, Refreshing ,That part was great , now when it comes to the massage, maybe I got unlucky and got one of the older ladies who didn't know what she was doing , there was zero technique, everything was random , it just felt like she kept guessing what to do like she had no idea what to do during the massage. I had to tell her to use massage oil , like 20 mins into it she's just patting my back and my legs with the cover on me letting the time pass & I'm thinking when is the actual massage going to start .... it just felt like she was going through the motions and not really focused on if I was getting a good massage. She was much older & didn't speak English , It wasn't good at all, towards the end she tryed to massage my face with dry hands and I left with red inflamed marks under my cheek bones from the irritation , I'm chocolate so you can imagine how unhappy I was seeing that when I went into the restroom, and the receptionist lady asked how it was & I kept it real with her & she told me come back and try another lady which I more than likely won't . I gave it a shot. Wish my experience was better. read more

Love this place! My partner and I have been here twice now, and each visit has been nothing short of amazing. The quality of the massages is top-notch, especially considering how affordable the prices are. You really can't beat the value you get here. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional--they make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, which adds so much to the overall experience. We've both left feeling refreshed and completely at ease every time. Honestly, I don't think we'll be going to another massage place again--this one has everything we're looking for. Highly recommend! read more

10/10 recommend. My endorphins are so high that It takes me a while to come back. Haha

Always reliable. Be clear if you want to emphasize a specific area because, depending on the therapist, there could be a language barrier. This is my go-to massage place pre and post-travel. I highly recommend if you're a local. read more

Excellent prices and excellent service! If you have jaw pain, see bill! I went for the first time tonight and it was great.

It was an incredible massage! I couldn't recommend it more. The place was clean, relaxing, and beyond wonderful. Anna was my masseuse and I left feeling 10x better. My body was sore, and she knew exactly what to do. I will absolutely be back! I'm so happy I found this place. read more

Simply Amazing. I've been going to The Loop for the past 3 years. I had several different injuries, broken shoulder and broken ankle, and they have always helped with my recoveries. They are very attentive to your specific needs. Booking is super easy. I have walked in several times or booked 15 minutes before the appointment. I'm so happy to have this place in our neighborhood. read more

I don't know why some reviews say the workers are rude because my experience is the complete opposite. The receptionist was super nice and welcoming! She was greeting every guest with a big smile, asking about massage preference, and doing deep bows showing respect. As for the masseuse, I had Ella and she was amazing! I asked for soft pressure because I wanted a relaxing massage and I got just that. Ella was using soft pressure and increase it when she goes over a knot or tense muscle. On my way out the receptionist realized I speak her native language and was very passionate about their masseuse. She was giving me overview of the 16 masseuse they have on staff and recommending certain staff base on the type of massage I prefer ex Thai, Tui Na, Swedish. Would definitely recommend. Only con would be it's a shared floor, the "rooms" are separated by curtain so you might hear your neighbor. The atmosphere is moody because they use warm yellow light and clean space. They use a coconut scented lotion. read more

It was so peaceful. I have social anxiety and I felt absolutely safe and welcomed here. They took care of me very well and I recommend everyone to come here! read more

I love the Loop! Massages are amazing especially when they use the hot stones as part of your treatment, which is included not extra. The prices can't be beat either! The staff are pleasant and the place is clean and esthetics are nice. The only one thing I can think of that could be a con is there are only huge heavy canvas curtains that separate the individual massage areas not private rooms with doors. It's still private however you might occasionally hear a whisper. Between the fabulous massage and zen music it's easy to tune out any occasional slight whisper. Medium pressure massage is subjective and can depend on whether you have a male or female masseuse. So be clear on the type of pressure you prefer for your massage whether deep tissue or just relaxing mild pressure. Don't sleep on this place it's definitely a place to for a massage! read more

This is the best massage we've ever had in our life we WILL be back! The heated massage tables were so cozy and I left about to take the biggest nap of my life I was so relaxed. They're so on top of it I love them read more

I just had a great massage for the first time here. I got the 90 minute Swedish massage and asked for medium pressure with a focus on neck and shoulders. The masseuse (forgot to ask for her name) was amazing and I will definitely be back. Be aware that it's in a shared room with private sections, so if you're sensitive to noise just keep that in mind, but I found it really easy to tune out any residual noise. Got a delicious vegan froyo after next door :) My new monthly ritual! read more

Best massage I've had in my life and I've been 20+ places easily. I get Bill, and he is so good, im scared to mention him because he will get too busy -- but he deserves it. Feels way longer than time given and it's perfect for healing muscles. He unstuck part of my back that had been locked for 4+ years. Can't say enough good things about Bill and the place overall. Perfect if you want a real massage and not ambiance BS read more

I don't think I've ever been THAT satisfied by a massage. I'm a changed woman! The one hour Thai massage by Emily was amazing. I over exerted myself in workouts this week and pushed new limits that caused stiffness. I felt like I needed something extra so that I could move around without walking like a brittle old woman and The Loop came through. I usually leave massages feeling like it lacked something here or there or like I still have some of the same pain or stiffness and this time it was almost like Emily had a sixth sense for everything I needed. Amazing! read more

First timer at this Massage boutique. I will give the cliff notes: 1) Cannot beat the price 2) The place was very clean with no weird smells 3) Extremely easy to make an apt and they were ready as soon as I arrived which was 8 min early. No wait time. 4) Staff was very friendly and attentive 5) I love a massage that hurts because of the amount of pressure and I got exactly what I asked for. Deep pressure with a focus on the areas I communicated. 6) I know every experience and masseuse is different but I had a great massage from Anna. Here are things to consider: 1) This is not a spa like Burke Williams- it is a massage place. I actually prefer this and don't need all of those extras- I just want a good massage at a reasonable price. 2) The first 20 min is massage over the sheet. Sometimes that bugs me because I want the oil and hands on the entire time- but she used her elbows and really made it worth the time. 3) I think you MUST communicate what you want in a massage, otherwise they won't know. The front desk person asked and I got exactly what I wanted. Overall, I will definitely be returning! read more
