I highly recommend this spot, and Wryni. Clean, boutique style spa. They use clean products. read more

Overose Spa - Entrance - Massage Therapy Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Came here after it being recommended. The massage was nice, but the scalp massage was terrible. The lady doing it didn't put oil on my actual scalp, just on the strands, so it was a painful, burning sensation and it stung so much hours after. Was tempted to ask for a refund because it felt like my scalp was burning. There was also confusion at the register. Everything had been paid beforehand, but during the confusion, the lady who seemed to be in charge snapped at me to pay tip to the woman who did my massage. She came off as rude and demanding, and it turns out, she was wrong because the tip had already been paid. Won't go back because of the painful and unprofessional scalp massage, and for how rude that older lady was. I'm not entitled to tip anyone, and even though I already had, she acted as if I needed to. read more

The service was excellent and very affordable prices. The environment it's grate too. I really recommend this place. read more

Disappointing Experience I used to absolutely love Overose Spa. It was always such an amazing experience, and I genuinely miss Jeff he was probably one of the best therapists I've had there. I've been coming here for a while, so it's disappointing to see how much the overall experience has changed. They've changed so much around the spa, and unfortunately, it now feels very average. Even the front area feels uncomfortable. When you walk in, the front desk is right there and there's very limited seating for customers. That part isn't a huge deal, but it adds to the overall experience. The biggest issue for me has been the quality of the massages lately. Jeff was easily a 10/10, but my recent experiences with Mickey, Sarah, and especially Luryri (the worst very friendly but terrible massage) have been disappointing. The massages have felt very similar to what I would expect at a typical mall massage -- lots of stretching and elbow work, rather than relaxing. I really wanted to continue coming here because I used to love this place, but unfortunately, the experience just hasn't been the same. At this point, I don't plan on coming back. read more

Deep tissue massage keeps my body functioning but it's hard to find good therapists. I'm not looking for a frou-frou Instagram experience with cucumber water; I just need heavy pressure. This place is great for no-frills regular massages. I recommend Jacqueline, Sandie and Amy. Geng and Whitney at the front desk are lovely. They care about your experience and take note of what areas you need extra attention on. The music they play is terrible predictable generic piano music but I suspect this doesn't bother most people. read more

Clean and relaxing place to have a good massage. I have been coming here three times in the last two/three months.

I found this place when I first moved to LA about 3 years ago, and I've loved it ever since! I've seen many different female therapists here over the years and every single one has been great. They are consistently professional with their check-ins to ensure the pressure is fine, welcoming when I come in (I'm a regular!), and truly effective massages every time. I have had chronic music pain since 2017, so I enjoy getting frequent massages. I appreciate how reasonably affordable Overose is! read more

Called for walk-in appointment and was seen within 15 minutes. Fay was experienced and adjusted pressure as needed. Very grateful for the session! Has its own parking lot, so one less thing to worry about. Pretty good deal at $72 for 1 hr massage. Loads better than paying $100+ monthly membership at Burke Williams! Bonus is that you earn points for every visit, working your way to a discount. This place rocks. read more

Consistently amazing massages. Have been going for over a year and it never disappoints. A hidden gem in the culver/palms area. Sunny is the best! read more

Got both a facial and body massage and it was lovely. Peaceful, clean, and Amy is great. A noticeable difference in skill and care compared to other places around the area read more

Look no further because you found the real hidden gem! I have been a customer for the last 6 years and can't thank Amy and Mikey for the amazing quality of massages they provide! Both are skilled, attentive and so well trained on their specialities ( Swedish and Deep Tissue) the rooms are super clean and they use organic oil upon request !! Every time was a win for me as a walk in with knots and comes out well rested it can't get any better with the pricing and hope it stays like this! Thank you Amy and Mikey for being a real lives saver read more

My husband and I have been coming to this place for the past year, and it has ALWAYS been an amazing experience. We are so happy we found our favorite massage spa. The atmosphere is relaxing and all of the therapists are highly skilled. Every time we leave, our bodies feel completely rejuvenated! We highly recommend this spa to anyone who may be hesitating to try it -- you won't be disappointed! read more

May was amazing! She really spent the time to work on the problem areas. Would recommend!

first time getting a massage and the price was worth it for me. I felt comfortable and I was always asked if I was okay. Will note I requested windy when I made my reservation online but when I arrived they said she had been booked. would love the reservation system to accurately display available people, I know other reviews have said this. small parking lot outside, a bit tight if you have a larger car. they give you a punch card if you're wanting to come back. read more

Sandy did really good job tonight. Enjoyed massage. She helped me stretch at the end which was very helpful for my soreness

Had a massage this morning with Suzie per request because the reviews were talking her up and let me tell you, the woman didn't disappoint! I haven't had a massage in nearly 7 years because I haven't found a place to home that I have found affordable. I work on my feet and I'm standing anywhere between eight to nine hours so I knew I needed to give myself this time. I had been looking forward to this massage for days and it was everything I could have asked for. She even massaged my face and head near the end of the service. I wish I could have told her I loved her without it being weird. Can't wait to go back next month!!! read more

Sandy is gentle, intentional and really listened to what i needed, i came in here with lots of tightness in my shoulder and neck area and she took the time to massage throughly Highly recommend read more

Phenomenal massage! The experience is on par with more expensive massage places I've went to, and the only trade off is less frills leading up to the massage (e.g., no changing room or bathrobes). read more

The staff are so friendly. The massage therapists intuitive and Sandy was incredible. Deep tissue massage, hot sones and deep stretch. my body was so relaxed. I highly recommend this business. read more

Definitely go for the 90 minutes and bring cash tip! $30-$40! They deserve more I loved their special with the hot stones MY GOSH and he loved the deep tissue, he's all messed up physically and said it was truly so amazing. Such lovely hospitality. I am so thrilled that I found this place! The massage and facial package I got was excellent and so reasonably priced. One of the best massages I've ever had and I would've paid double to triple the price anywhere else on the west side. I left feeling amazing. Highly recommend Amy! read more

Just found this cute little spot nestled in a local Palms shopping center. Such a beautiful spa with a simple + clean aesthetic. I had Wryni and she was AMAZING! She checked in on me throughout the massage to make sure the pressure was good. Overall, a great experience and I will absolutely come back! read more

Mint was incredible. I came in with a knot in my shoulder, and I'm leaving with the know released and my whole back feeling rejuvenated. Highly recommend 90 mins to really sink into the experience. read more

My signature hot stone massage with Sara was excellent. I am someone who prefers the opposite of what most ask for, which is soft & gentle touch. In the past when I have told massage therapists to take it easy, I still found myself wincing uncomfortably the entire time. She applied the perfect pressure that I found very comfortable and relaxing. The hot stones felt so good on my upper back and around my neck where I have been experiencing pain. I can't remember the last time I almost fell asleep during a massage and actually enjoyed getting one. The prices are also hard to beat and staff was very friendly. I look forward to seeing Sara more regularly! read more

I came here with an advanced reservation based on the good reviews and advertised pricing that was a great deal for the West LA area. This is my first time trying this place. I got the sports deep tissue massage. My masseuse did a great job with the right amount of pressure, though I did wish she focused on the areas I had specified more (calves, shoulders). The first 10 min or so was all over the sheets, then moved to lotion/massage. They wipe you down with hot towels during the massage. The area was clean and calming. The music was also soothing. There is also free parking in the front in a small lot. One downside was that upon checking out, I was basically held up by the receptionist until I provided a certain amount of tip. This was mentioned in other reviews, and I wanted to bring this back up. I was practically unable to leave until I did, but my rule of thumb (not sure if this is just personal) is that I provide a certain amount for the first visit and then a higher amount on subsequent visits as this is a token of loyalty and appreciation. It just felt odd that I was forced into tipping a certain amount. It soured an otherwise pleasant experience. read more

One of the best massages i've ever had in my life. I've been here a few times, I added the buccal massage this time and I highly recommended it. Will definitely be a monthly occurrence for me :) read more

Talk about a well-run business with great masseurs! They have 5 comfortable rooms, 4 masseurs, a smart set up for appointments, and above all, amazing massages! Our prior place, Mali, 'couldn't handle' 3 guests (not even at different hours so they hung up on us) and a new place near us, Rainbow Massage, couldn't either (they told us to go elsewhere!) Whitney and her team at Overose Spa were kind, efficient and welcoming. Forgive us for not finding you sooner!! read more

For years, this place continues to give tip top service! Doesn't matter if they have new team members or changes. I've been coming here on and off since 2019 and it doesn't disappoint! read more

Overrose Spa is my favorite place to get a massage. The prices are really great, and it really feels like a luxury experience. It's always clean and peaceful inside, and they offer a good variety of services. I really like the signature hot stone massage. I always request Windy because she is so thorough and pays attention to what I request. I have bad neck and shoulder tension from working at a computer, and she spends so much time getting every single knot out. read more

I've come here for the Thai massage a few times now, and I'm hooked. Everyone is so welcoming, and my massuese (Nim) is very responsive to my body and knowledgeable on how to adjust according to my needs. I always feel so much better after having had her work on me. read more

I came to get a 90 min massage today with Suzie and she never disappoints. I've been coming here for a while now and I always leave feeling better. The ambiance is relaxing with classical piano music playing in the background. Parking is easy and in the lot of the business the location is great too. I never have a problem getting an appointment either. The staff is also very friendly. I definitely recommend this spot. The affordable prices are great but please remember to tip the masseuse generously. read more

Came here yesterday (Saturday) with both my mom and little sister. Before my appt. they called me to ask if I'd like to have all three appts. scheduled at the same time (one was 30 mins later) so that already off to a great start. Once there, the receptionist was so nice and the rooms we were in were calm and nicely decorated and organized. My masseuse was Windy who gave me an amazing swedish massage and foot scrub ($87 total for 1hr 15min.). She noted the tension in my neck and shoulders and did her best to alleviate that. The bed I was laying on was heating which was so nice! And I loved how the oil/lotion that was used on my body felt. She cleansed my body with hot towelette afterwards and I just felt sooo rejuvenated. I was offered tea or water afterwards and when I met with my mom and sister after they both had an amazing experience as well; their masseuses were Arty and Nim. I've had a lot of massages before and this is by far my favorite place, for the price point, quality of care and people personalities. I am definitely going to come back. Thank you Windy and everyone at the spa for making me and my family so relaxed! :) read more

My bf and I went and loved the couples massage! Good Price and great service! Definitely will be coming back

I found this gem and go almost every month now. No matter who greets me I feel welcomed. I wish they had thicker walls or ceilings so I couldn't hear the massage Nextdoor, otherwise it's a wonderful place. read more

I booked a 60-minute massage with an additional 10-minute scalp massage. Overall, the experience was just okay. I requested a combination of Swedish and Thai massage, but it ended up being entirely Swedish--no Thai techniques were used at all. Unfortunately, the massage didn't relieve any of the knots or tension I came in with. They also used an excessive amount of oil, which made the experience less comfortable. The scalp massage was more of a light head rub with no real pressure or technique, and by the end, my hair was completely soaked in oil--which wasn't what I expected or wanted. For the price, I expected more attentive and effective service. I don't think I'll be returning, as there are better options out there. read more

I haven't been to a massage place in YEARS because of COVID. Except my neck/back was aching so I decided to try this place because of the great reviews. Here are the good things: They use hot towels on you 3x during a 60 min massage so you don't leave super oily. The place is clean, nice, and the prices are good. They give you a stamp card so you will return and you can get more stamps/free massage at the end I guess or maybe a discount. I wasn't really listening. LOL And the card doesn't say. They had a cold bottle of Crystal Geyer water waiting for me. The ladies are nice and they read the notes you leave when you book an appt online. They have a chat function at their website. What needs improving/what I didn't like... I booked my appt online and chose a specific therapist that I read named in a lot of reviews. They called me the morning of my appt to say she wasn't available, but someone else was. This was fine with me, but maybe the back end of their website can be fixed. I'd hate to run into that problem if you only want a specific person. Massage is VERY subjective. It took me years to find my fave massage lady that she would put me to sleep in 5 min and then she moved to another county. So, I guess this place runs very Asian style. A great majority of my massage was done with elbow, back of forearm, knuckles, knees, feet/toes and hardly any finger tips/palm of hand/heal of hand looking for knots. I asked for a deep tissue massage which to me is all about looking for knots and working them out. The first 5-10 min or so of the massage was under the sheet and blanket. It was in the mid 80s the day of my massage so coming in to have the heated massage table was too much. I had them turn it off immediately. Then the first part of the massage being under the blanket was also a lot, but I didn't know if it was a COVID precaution or if only the first few minutes were like that so I didn't say anything. Sound was not an issue for me, but I don't think anyone else was there or only one other person was. They have individual rooms with 3 walls, but instead of a door, it is a heavy curtain for the 4th wall which I wasn't expecting. I have encountered huge rooms split with 4 curtains, but never a room with 3 walls and a cut out for a door, but no door. This is minor to me. Just a heads up for you. The massage table does not have a removable donut/headrest/face rest. Instead there is a small round circle that is there. I wore a double mask and I have a small face/am petite and really only my nose/mouth would fit. So about 20 min into the massage all the pressure of the weight of my head was on eye brows/brow bone that I resorted to using my hands as a pillow. Also I had to take off one of my masks because I was suffocating because the hole is too small. Not sure how bigger people would manage. Since you start out on your stomach, when you turn on your back they give you a pillow to cover the hole. The pillow was not firm enough to my liking and seemed like a regular bed pillow, not a thicker firmer harder round pillow to support your neck. Because it is more of an Asian style place, my massage therapist sat on the massage table and/or straddled me for about 15 minute of my entire massage. Which they were not heavy, but this is not my favorite style of massage. Plus it was hot that day. Again, I am petite so not sure how this would work with taller/bigger people. When you pay, it defaults to 25% tip and there is a $2 charge to use a cc, which they do tell you about before they run your card. So my $65 massage plus $2 cc fee and 25% tip was $83.75. And my random suggestion for ALL massage places. I know within 15 min or even less if I like the style of massage the therapist is doing. I really wish there was a way to book a 1 hour massage but try 4 different people at 15 min increments to find who I like. Or offer 15 min chair massages so I would be able to experience their technique to see if I liked it. It would save me so much time and it's one of the reasons why I haven't gone to find a new massage person cause it's a lot of trial and error. read more

This is most definitely my new go to massage spot. Everyone is so so friendly and kind. It's such a relaxing vibe with peaceful music. The whole place smells so good as soon as you walk in and the women in the front desk is always so nice and welcoming. My massage therapist Alex is truly the best. He uses the perfect amount of pressure and the perfect amount of oil and is so polite, kind, and really talented at what he does. This was my second time coming to him and definitely won't be my last. I love him so much he really took his time and put his effort into it I can tell he truly cared about helping me and making me feel better. They even offer you yummy tea at the end. The prices are also totally reasonable. I'm so glad I found this place. Thank you for making this such an amazing experience I really needed this today. read more
