I have been with these people for many years, I follow when they've moved locations...I also think that a $20. Dollar tip for an hr of deep tissue is worth every penny...a massage is a treat of a very intimate nature and so aside from the techniques, professionalism is a must...I've always have been made to feel at my best comfort level..so 20 for 1hr 30 for 1 1/2 and 40 for a 2hr massage with George is a treat for me!! read more

I live down the street from this place, and I always walked by it and wonder "how can you do a decent massage for $55?" I'm used to paying between $120 and $150 when I get a massage, so I thought there had to be a catch. Particularly in this neighborhood where everything's so expensive. But after walking past it nearly every day for six years I decided what the heck I'll give it a shot. In short, I'm really glad I did. The massage I got from a woman named Lily was as good or better than the ones I was getting for double the price. And it was a legit one hour massage, it probably lasted 58 minutes. She really loosened up my back and worked all the trigger points that give me relief. I will definitely be coming here again because it's so inexpensive, so good, and so conveniently located for me read more

My neck has been killing me for months. I have had ZERO good back massages anywhere in LA. Most of the masseuses in chiropractor offices and massage parlors have no clue what they are doing Then I found LA Therapy I booked an appointment and was serviced by Julie She did an amazing on my neck and back plus the full body massage She is strong, knowledgeable in what she is doing and she helped my upper neck out tremendously. I need more treatments but so far she is the real deal read more

It was a waste of money and time and I'm very disappointed . This place was one of my favorite spot to get massage but over the years I felt like their customer service and their masseuse got worse and worse especially during Covid . Paid $60 and all I've got was pouring oil all over my body . My masseuse didn't pay any attention to what I was asking and expecting . I felt she didn't even want to be there! If you are looking to get a professional massage try to look elsewhere read more

First time here in a long time! Very happy that this place is still around post pandemic! George is as friendly and skillful as I remember. Rooms are clean and comfortable. On top of that, very competitive rates. read more

Not a trustworthy place!!! from the moment I arrived it seemed very suspicious. I was told all my jewelry needed to come off including a hermes bracelet I had. It was placed beside me and once the massage ended I went along my day until the next day I noticed I had forgotten it. When I return the lady told me no bracelet was reported that they did not have a lost and found. I was shocked because that was the only place I lefted my bracelet.!!! Another thing was the massage was really bad and I didn't enjoy it. also is not a friendly environment at all. So I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been going here almost 17 years and have had many of the masseuses. They are always professionals and very good for the price you pay. For years it was $45 for one hour, always high level acupressure. The owner has been the same throughout and raising their prices a bit after surviving Covid as a massage business is totally understandable. I stand by this place. I only wish they were able to keep their Venice beach location but at least they're closer to me now ! read more

Very poor service. I heard some unusual men's voices next door。 And I asked deep tissue but I just got a very soft massage. I just feel so disappointed. I paid for a 60mins massage , and the end I found it's just about 45 mins . And they asked me3pbox tips for it . I won't come here no more. read more

Highly recommend! Finally found a great place at a good price. And I work at a gym/spa so I know what a good massage should be. George is usually the one who works on me and he amazing! He is nice, listens to what you need, and has great pressure. Thank you George! I am very picky, and I am glad that I finally found a person and place that I keep coming back to. They are polite, quiet (unlike some places that are loud or rude) and my boyfriend and I always enjoy coming here. read more

This is definitely a sketchy business. I had scheduled a 45-minute massage for both my boyfriend and me hoping that it would be a pleasant and relaxing experience. I was already slightly hesitant upon entering since it was completely dark inside and the entrance door was locked. As soon as we got in, before even receiving our service, the woman at the front starts haggling with me for a big tip. Mind you, neither my boyfriend or I have even started our massages yet! I told her that I always tip 18-20%, but no, she continues to hassle me for a 25% tip! We ended up walking out, and they didn't even bother helping us unlock the door. They argued over a $2 tip difference, and ended up losing over $100+ in services... Lol. It was honestly a pretty unnerving experience, which is the opposite of what you need when looking for a massage. Beware! read more

There are lots of massage places in the area, but this is my go-to. I've gone to Lily a few times and she knows how to get any knot out of my neck and back. Don't be fooled by her size... These masseuses are strong. They can go as hard as possible (which is what I prefer) or lighter, depending on your preference. I usually come here after pulling/straining a muscle at the gym, or after waking up from sleeping in a bad position. This place always gets me back to normal, stretching out the muscles and taking out all the knots in my back. Dim lighting, relaxing music, and privacy. These masseuses won't spend time chatting with you or disturbing your peace. Pricing: $85 for 2 hours is unheard of. No where else in LA can you get a quality massage with that price. Definitely worth it. read more

LA Therapy Message is one of the best massage I have been to in Los Angeles. I am a massage snob and is always on the lookout for a good massage that can kill those stubborn knots on my back. (Too much starring at the computer) I am a customer of their other branch (Venice Beach Massage in Venice Beach) which has been opened for 16 years, they recently opened another location here on the Westwood area. There is a free parking lot behind the place and plenty of street parking in the neighborhood. They offer a variety of massages. shiatsu, accupressure, sports, pregnancy, swedish, deep tissue, combination, etc. I basically tell them what I want to focus on during the session and they just work on it. Service Service is great. The masseuse really listened to my needs and was very attentive. All their masseuses here are licensed and certified. They have both male and female masseuses depending on your preference. Cleanliness This place is very clean and brand new. 6 private rooms with a very comfortable bed and soothing music. Pricing Pricing is reasonable for the quality of massage you get. In fact they are running a promotion now. Buy 10 get 1 free. Overall I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for some high quality masseuses. You will not be disappointed. read more

You can go to their store or for an up-charge they will come to you! Julie gave me a 90 minute massage and really worked my knots out. It was the best birthday present I've received in a long time. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Just finished getting a massage and overall everything was great up until I was told it was required to leave a $10 tip which is the most aloof thing I ever heard of. I believe the amount of tip is based on the quality of service and the skill of the job performed on the persons body. I definitely will not be coming back due to being misinformed after receiving my massage. The quality of the massage was decent but not worth me having to mandatorily tip without prior notice. That's ridiculous. I cursed the manager out the following day for being utterly unprofessional. She's rude and misinformed me so I won't be coming back read more

I picked this place at random and was so glad I did. It was clean and I felt welcome. Low prices. Of the dozen massages I have had in my life this was the best. I will be back. read more

I walked in and greeted the lady in front and without looking up she pointed me to the hallway. Masseuse asked if I had an appointment and asked if it was 60 min. I said no and said I had told the lady in front I wanted 90 min on the phone. Paid $15 tip for a 90 minute $70 massage and the lady got pissed I asked for change for my $20 to tip her $15. I said thank you and she halfheartedly said you're welcome. I tried to leave but the door was locked. I asked for help and she did not try to help me because she was clearly upset. You can decide whether I was in the wrong or she was but I'm not coming back here again. read more

The best massage in LA. Clean, professional, friendly people, and all this at a very reasonable price.

Best massage ever. She went hard the whole 90 min (what I requested- and so hard to find). Great trigger point as well as soft work. Seriously a steal at 65 for 90 min. Do it. read more

I was expecting a good massage for the price point and it far exceeded my expectations as one of the best massages I have had. First off, it was no problem making a same day appointment. The rooms were clean and private. The masseuse, Simon was very skilled and attentive about whether the pressure was too strong. I was nursing an injury and he did not aggravate it at all. I will definitely be back here when I'm in LA. read more

I asked for a 15 min massage and she went over and charged me double the price...shady business practices...

Came here today with some friends and left completely satisfied. By far the best massage I've ever had, happy I finally found a new place. They have make and female masseuse, very friendly and professional. Make sure to bring cash with you for tip read more

Clean, friendly and knowledgeable. Great massages here. Lots of knowledge. They have female and male therapists that speak English and understand how to get this kinks and knots out. Definitely a go to place for legit massage therapy. Highly recommend this place! Their therapists are friendly and professional, they know how to make you relaxed and satisfied. Would definitely come again! read more

Awesome staff that always provides consistent quality service. Genuine people and clean facility.

I followed them to this new location since the massage is authentic; I found them through yelp initially and think that this place deserves more recognition comparing to other lousy massage place on the west side. I usually get the full body massage which leave me feel relaxed every time I visited. read more

Thank you, George and David! Great spot for a quick recharge. Clean facility and the service is on point, definitely my go to on the west side. read more

David and George are great! You can tell they are veterans in this business and really know how to give the best massages!

I should know better than to submit to a massage when communication is going to be an issue. Nevertheless, the very kind lady who scheduled my appointment recommended Simon as one of their more seasoned therapists. I had seen his name referenced in another review, so I trusted I'd be in good hands. It started off with him just walking into the room when he assumed I was ready. No knocking, no asking if it was safe to enter. He then started going at it right away, without asking if I had any injuries or areas I wanted him to focus on. So I stopped him, explained that I had an old shoulder injury and showed him where I needed him to be very careful and gentle. He replied in broken English that he'd be able to figure it out from feeling my muscles. Look, I get that massage therapists can read your body. But they're not psychic. That's why all legit body workers take a history! He spent most of the massage manhandling the very area I asked him to spare, using this weird finger friction technique and stopping intermittently to wipe off excess oil with extremely rough paper towels. I should say i can tolerate deep tissue work quite well, but not Aggressive work and not on an injured area! I kept asking him to go softer and he kept apologizing but then reverting to the torture technique again. There was nothing I could have done short of say "softer please" every single minute of the 60 minute massage. I wish I had left, but he seemed intent on healing something and I kept convincing myself that he surely knows what's best. Again, he was kind and clearly meant well. I couldnt bring myself not to tip (its just not my style), but I did tell the receptionist it was too hard of a massage to which she replied "thank you." Huh? Two stars because they were nice, it was pretty clean/quiet, and my husband had far better luck with his masseuse. But for me it was 1 star, because after several ibuprofen I am still in pain and my old injury is aggravated to a 7 out of 10 this morning. I was up all night in pain. I wouldn't recommend coming here if it's important to you that there be a clear line of communication between you and the person you're entrusting your body to. So upsetting. read more

By far the best massage place around! We've been going see Lucy & George for over 14 years! They started on the beach in Venice and have grown from there. Everyone is trained under there care. The prices are great and the service is remarkable! read more
