Brownie was absolutely incredible. I'm a bigger guy and athletic 6'1 250 and Brownie was strong yet sensitive. One of the best massages that I've ever had. Brownie..thank you for your magic really incredible therapist. WORLD CLASS read more

My massage was at 11 and 20 minutes before they tell me the woman isn't there and I have to come at 11:30. I was already on the way so I literally just had to sit and wait in the parking lot. It was so gross inside, but I wanted to still give it a chance. I booked on Groupon or else I would've just left. I had an hour massage and it was not relaxing whatsoever. There were just curtains, no individual rooms. I could hear people talking on the phone and at one point the girl turned on the fan. The girl kind of just rubbed me and used her elbows. She did not massage any of the places I asked her to and it was very un relaxing. She then punched my arms, which I was so sore and then at the end punched my face. I don't know how she would've thought that was relaxing. Never coming back here again read more

Mali Thai Massage - Bathroom - Massage Therapy Near Me - Los Angeles, California

The owner has responded to my original review but left out the FACT that I was pressured into providing a tip at the SET AMOUNT they themselves had placed. One star. read more

First time I come to this location and purchase a 90 min massage. But My massage therapist was on her phone texting so my 90 min felt like 60 min. She will start massaging me and then she will stop, I had to keep moving for her to start massaging me again. read more

I came on 10/27/25. I went with a deep tissue massage. Nana is the best. She has good technique and very strong. I felt very good after my massage. I will come again. Thank you Nana read more

We had Brownie and Eve before and they are awesome. I usually dont leave reviews But Today we had Belle and another older lady - paid too much money $270 for 90 minutes for 2 people and the massage was so bad that it was not worth it. It was supposed to be deep tissue and no technique at all. We will not be back!!!! worst experience and still regretting the expense. You should be ashamed as a business to charge so much for a mediocre massage. read more

Kept leaving during my massage to answer the phone and help other customers, and finished on the dot of the hour even though the massage start a little later because she had to help other customers. Had to ask for more pressure a few times as it was very light and just felt like light rubbing. Almost didn't leave the required tip as noted. Was great when Annie still worked there - a little disappointed for what I paid. They were however very nice and polite and took me as walk in. read more

I have had two amazing Thai combo massages with Eve. The place is in an interesting strip mall, however, inside it is very quiet and lovely. Very Professional and skilled. Thank you! read more

I've been going to Mali Thai since January this year and they are amazing! Na and Nana are both really good, and know how to massage the stress out of your body. Some of the best massages I've ever gotten in LA. Highly recommend this little nook of a place - but call ahead to make sure you get someone good. I do NOT recommend Nancy though - she basically only focused on my shoulder for the whole 90 minutes, at one point walking all over it, and then I had to take Advil for the next two days because it was bruised and hurting. read more

Good experience. Not too much. I wish I could have had a new customer discount though.

Rough around the edges but overall a solid service. I made a same day 3:30pm appt. I arrived a bit early. No one was at the front desk. I called their phone to see if anyone would come out. Someone did. They had me wait about 20 minutes before they took me back. My massage started at 3:45. Not a huge issue, but just be wary that scheduling may not be punctual. It's located in a strip mall with shared parking. There are signs that say it is a 30 minute limit, which was a bit concerning. But the staff said it's fine to stay beyond 30 minutes. I got the 60 min Thai combo massage. It was fantastic. The massage therapist knew when to add more pressure and when to ease up. Of course it was a bit painful at times, but that's why I got the Thai massage. They get into those knots and tightness with no mercy. After it was over I felt so much better. I tipped cash, which they seem prefer over tipping with credit card. They speak multiple languages, so their English is a bit broken, but they can communicate well enough. Everyone was nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend going here for a no frills Thai massage. read more

The receptionist asked if I wanted to pay $12 more for "more pressure." I was going to, until another customer told me not to because the masseuse were really strong, and you can basically tell them to go harder. So I didn't pay for "more pressure" and went into my room. I was waiting for my massage when the receptionist walked in. She was my masseuse lol. So as you can imagine, she did my massage very lightly. When she was using her hands there was barely any pressure. For the rest of the massage, she used her feet. I've had massages where I've been stepped on, but I haven't had a massage where they would step on me for a whole 25min out of the 60min massage. She stepped on me to massage my butt/legs (which is pretty standard), back, and then she stepped on each arm and hand. I've never gotten a hand massage done with foot. She also finished 10 min short. I just tipped and left. read more

I called to get a last minute appointment and I have never been here. The woman told me the price was $65. I mentioned I would pay by credit card and could I put tip on card as well and she said yes. When I got there, she suddenly points to the credit card prices ..now the 1 hour massage is $68 for credit card. She says, oh you can go next door to the smoke shop to get cash. Why wouldn't she just be upfront about the charge. Scammy. Left and just didn't go to the appointment. They should be honest about charges. Not change at last minute when you get there. Bad business practices. read more

I just had a combo massage for the first time here. It's was average. Nothing special, sadly. The one star is for the way they charge. First you need to pay before you even get a massage. Then at the end, when I actually wanted to add a tip they showed me a tip chart with a minimum? Weird experience and just the wrong way to go about service in general. I'll not return. read more

Made you pay before ...? Bad massage, masseuse came 15 minutes late to the room & then left 4 times throughout. Was cold, sheets were dirty & oil stained & had ash on it in several spots. Demanded tip. Bizarre experience. Will not be returning. read more

1 star... she charged me a extra $10 for harder pressure lol. I'm 5'5 115 lbs not a 300 pound man, she isn't putting in hard work. I asked not to stand on my back and she INSISTED, I felt like i was going to be crushed. Communication on my problem areas was horrible. And she was like blocking the door while i was paying as if i was going to run out . Girl bye. 0 stars if i could. Never goin back. read more

Mali Thai Massage - Massage Therapy Near Me - Los Angeles, California

this is the best ever massage I had ever had! I recommend this place! If stress or anxiety this help me relax and more thanks alot

I recently visited for a Thai massage, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. The therapist seemed inexperienced and focused solely on my upper body, which differed from traditional Thai massage techniques I've experienced elsewhere. I am still searching for a place that excels in authentic Thai massage. Unfortunately I'm really not satisfied with this place and they just use very new massage therapist who has no idea about Thai massage. read more

This is by far the best massage place in Los Angeles!! Culver City to be exact best professional care and great tea when you finish ‼‼‼

I really liked it here. It was quiet and I felt relaxed after the massage. I will definitely come back again.

Massage was good. However you feel forced to leave a higher tip if they are not satisfied with the amount you leave they will point at their tip guide and make you feel bad. I left a $10 tip for a service I'm already paying $70 I probably won't be back to this place. read more

Waited here from 10am to 1020am in hopes of getting the "early bird special" told they don't do that anymore. Really sucks to have wasted my time and the drive over here. Google searched local Thai massage and this place came up. The lady who greeted me at the door 20mins after opening time came to the door with what appeared to be a lot of sunscreen she was going to rub in. Decided to wait for therapist who showed up 1040am. Then asked to pay $2 EXTRA for wanting to pay contactless (with my phone) horrible!!! Total waste of time, and all she did was say "you have a nice car" just awful. Gonna leave complaint or better business bureau after this review! Completely upset at this experience! read more

Today was the first time I've ever been to Mali Thai massage and I've got to say I thought it was excellent! I had Eva do my massage and I felt she was strong, attentive and excellent. I felt substantially better and it was only a one hour massage. I will definitely be back. read more

I have been to mali in the past and loved it. Todays experience was awful. The old lady that checked me in was rude. I got Cindy as my masseuse - she was sweet and has strong hands but lacked technique. She made me turn so many times that at one time I was completely entangled in the sheets. The room was icy cold with the AC running at full blast and stayed that way even after I complained that I was cold. The oil she used was cold because the microwave was not working. Oh after the cold room and the cold oil she rubbed me off with a cold wet towel. Finally I had the first room as you enter so could hear noise and a radio from the front. When I tried to tell the front desk person about my experience she completely ignored me. Terrible experience today- great in the past read more

Amazing service. Nana is the best. She always makes my body feel brand new! I highly recommend this place. read more

Just finished a 30 min massage for $48 and it was totally not worth it. The massage was literally nothing, no pressure, no pressure point targeting, no pain relief, no feeling of relaxation at all. Masseuse starts with a 15 min BS "massage" over a sheet, which is literally her just putting her palms on arbitrary areas of your back. She doesn't use oil until I told her, her oil massage skills were pathetic, feels like I'm a car getting waxed. I ask for more pressure and she says wait, I'm just marking you up... lady only have 10 minutes left by this time. She can tell I'm annoyed, so offers to walk on the back which was more "nothing" like no targeting of certain muscles. It's literally just her walking on my back and that's it. It's not like she was a bad person or anything but the service was just terrible. Left me beyond speechless. Literally a waste of time and money... yes, I spoke to the front desk women after and that's it's own thing. But I will certainly be disputing the transaction in my CC. Doesn't need to be said, but definitely not coming back here again. Other things to note: a women customer was in the room next to me and she was annoyed with them because they had her in the room waiting for 10+ minutes for a massage. Also, you can hear the receptionist and her bf (I think) just chatting away during your massage. So weird, just waits for her to be done with her shift or something. read more

Soothing, relaxing, tranquil environment. Very knowledgeable therapists. Perfect experience. I returned the next day because I should have done a 90 minute session the first day. Lol. I didn't want the session to end. Complete relaxation. read more

Worst massage I have ever had. They asked me to pay prior to the massage which was all fine. I wanted to do 90 minutes and by the 45 minute mark I was so irritated with the fact it wasn't a massage it was just someone rubbing oil on my body. I kept asking for more pressure and I'm not sure where the lack of understanding went. I ended up cutting the massage short and I wasn't asked how could they make it better. For $100 no thanks. read more

I have always enjoyed massages at Mali Thai. My experience last week was pretty terrible. I didn't appreciate being harassed for a $15 tip and told I needed to pay it. I tipped $10, and then was told, "Everything is expensive now. That's why the tip is $15" Wonderful. Then raise your prices? Don't demand I tip $15, ESPECIALLY when you're making me pay for the massage and tip before I even get the massage. I tip based on the service, not a sign saying what I "should" tip. The masseuse walked the demand back when I told her to cancel the massage and give me my money back. All Too bold for me. On to the next! read more

Not an official thai massage, but its okay. Id lean more to the 2.5 stars to be honest. I went in there with excruciating lower back pain and left with it. But it did feel good. read more

I have gotten probably like ten deep tissue massages here and it's always fantastic no matter who my masseuse is. Great reasonable prices, combo package specials and it's always easy to get an appointment a reasonable amount of time beforehand (or even same day)! The parking lot isn't always the most convenient but there's lots of street parking. The masseuses wear masks. The rooms have a curtain door but open top area so you can hear neighboring whispers but it's not ever a problem. Highly recommended. read more

A little place surrounded by some good eating places, they sure know how to serve a good menu and deliver a great experience with a fine touch and technique above the rest! :-) read more

Meh...my experience was exactly that. Pricing is very high compared to others in the area. I paid a little more $65 for deep tissue due to a current pinched nerve. When the woman came to the room she asked what massage I wanted "combo". I thought I took care of that at the front desk? The masseuse was a very nice older woman, but didn't seem to have much of a technique at all. I felt more like I was being randomly mushed like mashed potatoes than anything. "Deep tissue" was explained to me as "very hard" to work out muscle issues. This is not at all what I got. The pressure was a light-medium at best. I guess it was a sign that others might not have been thrilled about their experience since they make you pay first. This also is unfortunate since if paying by credit, you must tip first also. They also attach a $2 for CC. The place seems clean, but the towels you put your face into are very rough and smell highly of chemicals from washing. $75 for a less than a mediocre experience, no thanks. I will not be returning read more

I visited this place today, and requested for the 90 minute combo massage. It was such an amazing experience! The massage therapist was awesome, and very good with her hands! I came here Sunday evening, as most Thai massages were booked and did not have last minute appointment slots available. I didn't know what to expect since there there very little reviews. Location is easy to find, and the ambiance upon walking in was good. I was able to have my appointment immediately when walking in, and the massage was of good quality. One star less because it is pricier, but next time I come, I am going to get the afternoon deal where it is $45. The masseuse wasn't talkative, which I liked. I felt like my pain points were addressed. Also, they did not do my pet peeve which is when they fan me with a towel, since that once got me sick. Overall, satisfied and would come here again. read more

Great massages and here is my review after my 3rd visit. Very charming staff. I was acknowledged very professionally over the phone and in person.
