I've had many Thai massages over the years, but this is definitely the best place! I'd recommended to anyone.

When this is my space I will have a luxury experience for all of my clientele. Five Star linens and furniture, An immersive apothecary experience, Sauna and Float Tanks, White and Gold interior and spectacular lighting. People will be treated like Royalty with a welcome foot bath infused with herbs and flowers, tea and light healthy snacks/ fruit. Taking time for oneself is essential to our wellbeing and it takes time to wind down from the hustle. There should be no hurry when coming to Eden. I recommend taking down the current theme and reinventing it. It has potential in such a great location! read more

I had Cat who was very strong and quite skilled at using her feet to power into the muscle. During the massage when I told her what hurt, she pinpointed it and worked on it. Massage parlor offering deep tissue, Swedish, and Thai massages. It was $65 for an hour plus tip. You pay upfront and then are taken to your room. They do accept credit card, but it's a $3 fee. A single occupant restroom is available in the back. There's metered and free street parking in front of the parlor. You can make a reservation by calling. I do admit, the beginning of the experience was off-putting, as the receptionist requested we provide a 25% instead of 15% upfront (despite not having experienced the massage). We complied, but it was so awkward. Nonetheless, the massage itself was nice and there was a space heater in my room so I was warm. The masseuse was strong and valiantly attempted to get the knots out of my shoulders and lats. As a side note, they don't offer any water or tea after the massage, so you just leave. They use really really really really strong synthetic fragrance products to wash and dry their linens, plus I think they have some super strong synthetic fragrance air fresheners or synthetic fragrance oils in there or something. Got a deep tissue massage, the massage was unsatisfactory and I wanted to tip accordingly to reflect my satisfaction; however when I asked for my bill to be broken up, the woman at the front took my bill and then stared at me and called me cheap and refused to break up my bill. How was the massage and why was it unsatisfactory? Really inconsistent pressure and my requests being repeatedly ignored. I paid for a 90 minute deep tissue but more than half of it was either too firm or so soft I felt like I was getting oil rubbed onto me lightly. There was a good half of the massage that felt like a gentle lotion application and was NOT a deep tissue. When I expressed certain preferences (changes in pressure) and areas I did not wished to be touched, it was consistently ignored. One of the worst "deep tissues" I've ever gotten and by the end of the session the therapist proclaimed she was tired-- yes I could tell, you kind of gave up half way! When I get a massage I am vocal about my comfort levels and this was the first time I've had them ignored. Also, who wants to constantly tell someone how to do their job when you're just trying to relax? I understand times are hard economically but sub par service deserves a sub par tip and if that isn't a live-able wage, then have your prices reflected to be what the cost your employees would need to be happy, and have a tip be what it was intended to be-- an extra amount based on performance and customer satisfaction. It would've been convenient to come back as I'm someone that consistently gets massages (I'm new to the area and looking for a new spot) but not after the disrespect shown to me here! Honestly possibly the best Thai Massage I've received in the states and even topping most in Thailand! Ive had alot of massage, and given alot, Im a retired massage therapist and have studied western and eastern massage including thai. A thing that happens with massage therapists (tends to happen more with some asian modalities) is the therapist falls into a pattern. Its human nature to build up neurons and there for routines, so some stop paying attention to whats under there hands and just do the same general massage over and over.. Jenny was not that, surprisingly she asked me what i wanted to focus on which i never get asked that at asian massage spots.. she still did the perfect amount on my whole body but put focus in on the areas mentioned. A nice mix of barefoot walking to get deep pressure, and more precision work with hands and elbows, with the juicy stretching that i love about thai massage. Omg! This place is Heaven! I booked a session for me and my partner! OMG Tonya and Jenny were the best! We got the combination that included the Thai, Swedish, and Hot stone. You have to try it! Omg you will leave feeling like a pillow. Now if you've never had a Thai massage, they typically walk on your back but don't be alarmed their feet, somehow feels like their hands. It's a MUST! Want to start by saying I'm extremely selective about massage places ... especially small private owned ones. As a women I'm not comfortable going just anywhere and stripping down and trusting strangers. A neighbor of ours let me know that her and her friend came here recently and had a great experience, also had another person we know say they came and had a good experience too. It's local to where we live and I've driven past this place a million times. I finally decided to try it out and was pleasantly surprised. Tanya did a great job, my massage was wonderful. The spa itself was very professional, clean and friendly. I got a full body Swedish massage with hot oil for 60 minutes, the total cost was $70 which is a really great price for the time and service. A very nice atmosphere with kind staff. I've been to many massages and even though I know the general drill, I liked how my masseuse guided me through the facility to find the bathroom and helped orient me to the massage room & where to put my belongings. Susie had great pressure and technique, even though it wasn't the deepest pressure (and I didn't ask for it), she was able to get right to the spots that bothered me. This one is a hard one . Great excellent massages except for the part where they wipe you down with a cold wet rag that I see no purpose of it just takes away time from the actual massage itself and it's not hot so it doesn't feel that good . Also one time it left me smelling like a WET ANIMAL just not a good smell . Here's the real kicker though . They WILL harass you for a tip . One time I went in and tried to tip 10 dollars , she looked at it and said that's it ?? She said no no I need more ??? I was in SHOCK I kindly explained that I only carried enough cash for my service + a 10$ tip . She looks down at my hands sees my wallet and says " you have credit cards " I was soooooooooooo taken aback . I said you know what ... NO TIP AT ALL I will pay for my service but you're not getting a tip . For starters a tip is not mandatory . And if you feel like you deserve more idk maybe raise your price ??? of the service but don't harass your paying customers and make them feel shitty because you want more . And I think of the shy people who they've probably gotten so much money from because they're afraid to speak up . read more

Unfortunately, some good things come to an end. I've gone several times after this, and each time there was more disappointment. The massages were not good anymore and the service tanked. The same 2 people I'd go to, would expect the same large tip as the first time and would show visible grief if it wasn't the case (still always a fair tipper though). That's a turn off. Had an awesome 90-minute Swedish massage - honestly 5-star worthy. So why 2 stars? Because I didn't appreciate being badgered for a larger tip afterwards when I was trying to leave 20%. What happened: paid $100 with my card before my massage started. Massage was honestly one of the better ones I've had in a while. Afterwards, I went up to the front where my masseuse was waiting for her tip. I had a $100 bill I wanted to break so I handed it to her and before I could even say anything she smiled really big and started exclaiming "thank you!! thank you!" apparently thinking that I was tipping her a $100. I asked her for $80 back. She kind of giggled and said "oh you can't do more? just a little more?" I was really confused and said "the massage was $100. I'm giving you a 20% tip." Then she said, still giggling, "but 90 minute should be more tip!" I just looked at her blankly and asked for $80 back. She started walking to the back to change my bill and as she walked behind me laughed patted my shoulder and just said "ok just $30 tip then ok hahaha" like we were old friends joking around or something. She came back and gave me a $50 a $20 and 10 dollar bills obviously hoping for more tip. I didn't leave any more. I don't like being guilted into feeling like a cheapass and I feel 20% is a generous tip. The irony here is that I enjoyed my massage so much that I totally would've came back. I've probably had about 100 Thai massages in my life and this was one of the worst. We arrived 10 minutes early to the massage only for the actual massage to start 10 minutes late. A few minutes in, the masseuse was walking on my back and while doing so, she decided to take a phone call for a few minutes. Very unprofessional. Lots of chatter between the masseuses between rooms during the massage was also not professional. Lastly, we had booked a 60 minute massage that lasted about 50 minutes so add that to the list of grievances. Try a different place. Can't recommend Serenity. read more

Funny after requesting 90 mins on phone, masseuse ended massage with "oh you still tight, should have got 90 minute..." I probably didn't get the best or 2nd best masseuse, but damn. I decided to book a last minute appointment here before a flight. They were extremely accommodating and booked me right away. When I arrived, I was met with wonderful service. I asked for a 1 hour deep tissue massage and was brought into a cozy and sanitary room. The massage was a 11/10! I was amazed by Tara's technique and the pressure she used was phenomenal. I had plenty of massages before in the Bay and in SoCal but Tara was definitely one of the best. She made sure to focus on areas that I was more tense and she relieved a lot of tension from my shoulders and neck. She also did some Thai stretching techniques. The most amazing Thai + deep tissue massage I've had in a long time. Being from Thailand, I've had my fair share of Thai massages before moving to the US. Jenny not only was skilled with locating all my knots and tension, she applied different levels of pressure depending on the knot/tension type -- from walking on my back to specific pressure points to long stretching movements.
