Decor

What a cool place! The decor was well done and intentional. The food was delicious here. We had the chef's special pad Thai and it was so good. At first it didn't look different than regular pad Thai but the flavors were so much bolder. We also had a tofu dish that was amazing as well. The server was friendly and patiently explained the menu items when we had questions. We look forward to returning next summer!

I've been curious about this place since seeing all their Instagram pics. The place did not disappoint. Food, service and most of all ambiance hit the 5 star mark. Same owner as Sense of Thai(multiple locations(, they carried their themed decor to this cute place. The menus, the outdoor patio, bar area and dining room all had personality. Service was great: water glasses and drinks always attended by someone. Multiple people delivering food, explaining items and asking if we needed anything. My friends and I decided to order full entrees since we also wanted to try the Pupu Platter consisting of beef, chicken, pork, salad, pork rinds and sweet rice. It was plenty of food for 3 people. Our entrees included 2 types of curry and the Pad Zee U. All were tasty with plenty of protein in each dish. We all packed plenty of to-go for later. Parking in the lot is free for 3 hours but if you go over the 3 even by 10 minutes then it's $12(that happened to me). They have lunch specials $18 that included a choice of appetizer and a good selection for entrees. We didn't go that route but for my next visit, I may chose that option.

Food is great, drinks are strong. Service is fantastic and the restaurant is so pretty. A nice little outdoor area is great on a sunny day. Walkable from the metro station. Been here at least 10 times and it's always first on the list to treat out of town visitors. No one has ever had a meal they didn't like. Can get pretty spicy, though!

I took my parents with me on a lunch date, my Dad rarely eats out, maybe 2-3x a year because he likes cooking his own food at home. Needless to say, he enjoyed himself and the Lychee Duck Curry. So much so, he even looked up how to make it, it was extremely flavorful and the duck was tender. We were greeted by Fern the hostess who sat us right under some pretty cool artwork. We were waited on by Kiki, Amm and Gina, because shifts were rotating out, they are all so nice and helpful, we got recommendations from each one of them. We placed an order for the drinks and appetizers (everything came out really quickly) and enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious, there's a cherry blossom theme currently with a really cool pink decorated phone booth in the front before you walk in and themed menu. The bar is very nice as well, my parents took a picture in front of it. The food was AMAZING, they have a lunch special menu and from what I saw was what the other patrons were ordering from as well. It's a steal of a deal! Here's what my parents and I ordered: Appetizers: Tom Yum: Chicken, lemongrass, chili, cherry tomatoes, kaffir lime, mushrooms Healthy Roll: Minced chicken, lettuce, carrots, Thai basil, rice noodles, cucumber, rice paper, spicy peanut dipping sauce Calamari: Southern-style fried whole wings, pickled veggies, sticky rice or steamed veggies Hot Gai Wings: Batter fried calamari, Sriracha aioli, shishito peppers Drinks: Love Yuzu Chardonnay North Bound Entree: Shishido beef: Flank steak, shishito peppers, mushrooms, onions, scallions, carrots Lychee duck curry: Duck breast, lychee, finger peppers, cherry tomatoes, Thai basil, pineapple, red curry paste Basil, fried rice: Ground chicken, Thai basil, bell peppers, green beans, finger peppers, fried egg Sa Mui Lo Mein -- Gina told us to try this dish. 100 stars. I would've never ever tried this. Shrimp, minced chicken, egg, onions, Thai basil, bell peppers, pineapple, chili shrimp paste Dessert: Cappuccino Spicy Brownie: Thai chili pepper, dark chocolate, almond tuile, salted caramel ice cream Pina Colada: Pineapple cake, coconut glaze, coconut flake, toasted coconut & chocolate chip ice cream I can't wait to see what's on the summer menu! I'll be back!

Place looks great and Service was good the two times I've been to lunch last week. Pad Zee U is an underrated dish and needs a special mention for anyone tired of Drunken Noodles. The Tom Kha soup was a great pairing for the lunch option

Tiki Thai Reston is one of my favorite place to go to for a late night cocktail. They open til late and you can ask for a drink based on your preference (e.g. sweetness of the drink). The chicken satay was delicious and tasted great! plenty of sauce and great to share. If you like sweet cocktails, choose "free as a bird" , taste like juice alcohol. Price was also reasonable and staff is always so friendly! Would always recommend this place!

Pineapple Fried Rice
Makenna M.

The ambiance and tiki decor was adorable! I went with my mom and got the pineapple fried rice, it was good but I was hoping it would come inside an actual pineapple like the pictures. I got the chicken satay with peanut sauce too which I really liked. The service was decent and I really want to come back to try their drink menu because it looks like they have a ton of good options!

Mai Tai but 90% ice
Vivian Z.

Food is decent, but extremely slow service and can barely flag down the waiters. Additionally, the drinks are overpriced. I got this Mai Tai that was $17 but majority (prob 90%) ice and 10% actual liquid, which was really disappointing.

Very cool hangout. Lots of people enjoy happy hour here. I always see it crowded with happy people. There is free parking. Services is quick! And food is delicious. Great place to kick back after work.

Quick post workout dinner. There is a parking garage and a parking lot that offers free limited parking. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and has a very relaxed vibe to it. We were there a bit late and they turn up the music after a certain time. So, it can get noisy. Not a problem for me because the music was good! Service was fast and the food was tasty but the prices did give me a bit of sticker shock. I thoroughly enjoyed their version of a Vietnamese summer roll called a "healthy rolls". It was fresh and tasty! All of the food was good and fresh and I would order them again. The dessert was super delish w/just the right amount to of sweetness. I plan on visiting again to check out the late night vibes in the warmer months!

Banana blossom & Lychee Salad
Jess N.

Solid spot for Thai in Reston! The restaurant is very nice and the small but comfortable patio is a great addition. Love that they have tiki mugs for drinks and you can purchase your favorite!! How fun! We got the banana lychee salad as an app and phew it was spicy. Not overwhelmingly but good amount of heat. Wish there were more lychees in there but not a deal breaker. I got the crying tiger steak and it was just a tad too salty for my taste. The trend carried on when my friend and I shared the Mango Lava. It was salty!!! The description didn't say anything about a crumble and may be they should have left it out. We couldn't remove it without removing a lot of the dessert. A miss for sure.

The gold…read morerum and allspice dram are standouts, plus they have the best coconut rum I have ever tasted. It is less sweet than something like Malibu but has a strong, smooth coconut flavor. It is truly a marvel. The distillery does a great job at providing a great on-site bar experience, too. It is dim for a nice mood, always has a great playlist, and their cocktail list is always changing and always interesting. It is winter time, which means it's coquito time. La Famosa makes the world's best coquito, and it showcases C&R's rum nicely. If you want to keep it simpler, their rum old fashioned is delicious, too. They do not sell beer or wine, just rum, but with rum this good, who cares. They make a bunch of interesting, small batch rums throughout the year, and they work very well in cocktails, you will find something you like no matter what you like. They have been rocking at this spot for over nine years, now, so that really tells you something about their quality. They have earned a spot in the DC pantheon.

We loved the redbeard - it was refreshing and light, something I could drink by the pool all summer. The coconut rickey felt "healthy" and light as well and of course, the cocomotion was the star of the show. Bartenders were quick, and the space was trendy with clean restrooms. Overall good selection and we enjoyed all drinks we tried.
