It's my favorite Thai meal. - Banana Blossom & Lychee Salad- so good, but does come w/ nuts on it, so if you don't like nuts in your food, avoid this. I like the texture it provides + the creaminess from the nuts. Ambiance: The coolest, laid back restaurant but you also won't look too out of place if you decide to go dressed up. They have indoor and outdoor dining and you can sit at the bar too. The drinks are creative and tasty, I love the tiki cups they come in. We arrived during the last 15 mins of happy hour and ordered a couple drinks and appetizers (calamari and wings). For entrees, we got the tai curry and drunken noodles. I should've remembered to ask them to adjust the spice level bc it was a bit hot for me, but still tasty. The food is good quality and portion sizes are reasonable but not huge. Lots of flavor and less oil than other Thai places I've been. The Tai curry was very unique as I have never seen it on any other menu and I would definitely recommend it if you are a fan of Panang. It was busy but we had a reservation, which we arrived a little early so we started off with drinks at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready. All of the drinks we had throughout the night were good but I'm less of a fruity type of drink person so the old fashion was more my speed. I tried the V.S.O.C. which I tasted more mint than anything. We tried the crispy salmon roll and the curry crab dip for appetizers. I enjoyed the roll the flavors were nice but the dip was just ok, it tasted like it was missing something maybe a little spice. My main entree the sa-mui lo mein was very good and I'd definitely order it again. My husband had the ginger teriyaki with chicken and it was lacking flavor. The chicken tasted very bland. Sisters to "Sense of Thai St", this new Thai vibe located at Reston West is a wonderful addition. I am definitely a fan of their Thai and fusion cuisine. So far we have done takeout and delivery thrice in the past two weeks. We wanted to try their food ever since they opened but did not get the chance because they were closed due to an employee being exposed to Covid. Transparency always appreciated. I do not know what social distancing and masks are like inside. But takeout has been easy. Online ordering is straightforward and food is ready at the expected time. They even offered free delivery on super bowl weekend to keep patrons safe and meals convenient. I really like their lychee and pork salad. It has the spicy and tangy punch. Their pad Thai is unique in that they use mustard greens? I haven't had mustard greens in my pad Thai before and it's a great addition. Another notable dish is their mussels. It's packed with flavor and you can see chunks of lemongrass and basil in the dish. Not to mention, their curry rice is mild and comforting. The branzino is also good but they do keep the bones if you're ok with that. I'm Asian so yes, I'm ok with that. I can't wait to check out their interior and presentation of food when the world is safer. We ordered delivery, everything came well packed (nothing leaked!) and came on time. We ordered thru the website directly. We got the chicken satay, healthy rolls (basically summer rolls with chicken) and the pat pad thai. The two apps we got were very tasty. I felt like the portion sizes were sizeable, and everything was cooked well (sometimes I've found the chicken in thai dishes to be be too dry or overcooked) this is not the case here. I'm excited to come back and try their fun drink menu and some other items. Pat pad thai, is the owners take on pad thai. We ordered it in very spicy, it was too spicy for us (but we still ate it, just drank a lot of ice water). This is one of the best pad thai's that I've had, the flavors are very balanced, nothing is too sweet and I loved all the diced peanuts throughout. There's also a delicious smokiness to the noodles. No presentation at all. The healthy rolls are served in a wooden platter; great! Tastes just OK, though, and the dip is a bit salty. Drunken noodles is way off from most Thai restaurant. I had a very negative experience here today, and will never patronize this place again. I ordered take-out and sat at the bar to wait, choosing a draft beer the bartender said they had. Said he had to change the keg, and eventually returned with a different beer, saying he didn't want to hassle getting the keg for what I ordered. They have a good selection of classic Thai food. I've tried the beef massaman curry and didn't like it very much. It was pretty watered down. The drink selection is the best part of this place. They have a variety of cool cocktails to try with unique ingredients. They're quite strong too. Went out on a limb and tried this for the first time on my birthday. Risk-taking certainly paid off in this instance. I started off with a mai-tai that was HUGE, quite strong, and overall delicious. My family and I split the Pu Pu platter to start and everything was amazing and clearly homemade. For dinner, I ordered the Chumphon Pad Thai. This was the best coconut curry/pad thai mashup I could've ever imagined. Now, it was definitely on me that I did not realize that "SS" meant very spicy when I ordered, but heed my warning: I was chugging water this entire meal it was so hot. However, it was also an addictive flavor so I couldn't stop eating it and would still do it all over again. At the end of the meal, our waitress brought over what I believe was their coconut ice cream with a candle for my birthday.
