I went on a tour from the Lynwood, CA office this past Saturday, July 13, 2019. We were first taken to Sahara where there are no homes, not even model homes on site. However, the lot location map the sales representative was showing me had many lots taken and what was available. It was stated by the representative this area is more expensive than Cielo site.
We then traveled to Cielo. There as well just open land, smoothed out by heavy equipment and no homes. The lot location map shown to me had many lots purchased and what was available.
I was then taken to the only two model homes. One at approximately 800 sq. ft and the other at approximately 1200 sq. ft. The experience with the sales representative is similar to buying a car. Telling you prices of the lot cash or credit, the same with the homes, cash or credit. Offering a 50% discount on the lots if you purchase that day. Telling me if I pay cash for the home it would be ready in 7 months, otherwise until you reach 10% of paying for the home it would take 2 years to build the home.
The home I was interested in is what was talked to me they had is a 3 bedroom home, however, they do not have a model built. Then when I moved forward to decide on the home, I was then told you need to buy 2 lots for this size of the home.
I moved forward to place money down on the 2 lots and in 7 days to transfer the full amount of the money to purchase the lots. I used a credit card, and there as well found out they only take two types of cards. Also, if I wanted to lock in the price of the home the I needed to place a percentage down, in 7 days.
Now, after having time to think of what I did the next morning I changed my mind. I question if this development has been in existence for a time, why is there no homes built or pavement put down. Why is there no model homes in Sarhara or homes built there and pavement put down? The sales representative herself has purchased two years ago and no home is even built.
I emailed my only two contacts for Groupo Concordia the next day, to advise I have changed my mind. I as well requested for my deposit to be placed back to my card. Just in case though I called my credit card company to place a dispute, to buy time for Groupo Concordia to satisfy my request.
I just wish to add one more remark the view from Sarah is beautiful, but the view from Cielo is not at all as in the videos. I guess that is why it is more expensive for Sahara. read more
