If you're coming for cat products, you have some options, but not as much compared to the big chain stores. They even have a dog wash station! The self wash stations are available by appointment and also on a first come, first serve basis. The stations close at 6 pm Monday through Saturday and close at 4 pm on Sundays. Wash and dry time is limited to 30 minutes total per dog and costs about $15 per dog. Add on's (de-shed, for example) are available too. A rewards program is also offered in which you can obtain points and use them for a discount when a certain threshold in reached. Also, check their website for monthly promos, too! Lastly, we were also told they have two sister stores as well: Play Wash Pint (barks and brews) and Play Wash Stay (boarding and daycare). We look forward to checking out each one. It was a combination of foul water and a diaper smell. Perhaps the fish tanks and pet stations need a cleaning? We came in search of harnesses. They had a good variety. The prices were a bit high, and the displays were a bit disheveled. A lot of the harnesses we became fond of, unfortunately, were out of stock in the size we needed. We then went to look at the treats aisle and noticed a handful of dog food bags that were on the bottom shelves had an accumulation of dried urine on them. Just something to note and advise to perhaps not purchase any items from any bottom shelf. In our entire visit, we also noticed no one greeted us, asked if we needed assistance, etc. We ended up leaving and headed to the Petco just down the road and had a much better experience there.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this facility. I decided to adopt a kitten, which turned into two…read morenew kittens, and I spent a lot of time searching for what I hoped would be the best fit for both of us. I wanted to adopt long hair kittens and when I found a pair of long hair siblings on their site, I clicked on their "Adopt Me" buttons. I filled out the 2 page application online and went through their phone interview on Friday. I had to get certificates to prove my other pets are current on their vaccinations. Finally I set an in-person appointment for Monday. (They only take appointments and no public walk-ins at this time.) I called on Saturday to confirm my appointment for Monday which was scheduled for noon, which is the time they open. When I spoke with their employee they, once again, verified my information and then told me that the siblings I applied to adopt had just gone home together with their new family.They offered to let me come over on Monday to see who else might be available. Why did my applications ask for the names of the kittens I wanted to adopt if they weren't planning to hold them at least through my appointment time? How does this happen when they're "by appointment only"? Was anyone going to call and let me know before I drove 80 miles on Monday? (When I asked this question, she said they would not have called.) It makes no sense. There should be a disclaimer on the website saying that confirmed appointments and specific pet applications do not guarantee you'll receive the pet/s you're applying for. So--Beware. When you click "adopt ME" , you're really just going through hoops to be approved for an appointment to adopt from that particular days available pets. It's a classic "bait and switch." I'm sure there are plenty of fantastic pets available, but I researched, clicked "adopt ME", and entered their names on the application for a pair of brothers because they were the ones I wanted to adopt. I wish they were more upfront regarding this practice- in this age of technology, it should not be difficult to place a "pending adoption"notice in the pet's file. It takes effort to get to the appointment setting stage so it doesn't seem there'd be a lot of people getting approved and then skipping their adoption appointments.

The staff take such great care and love for the animals that are there. Heartwarming to spend an hour loving on some foster care cats. That's what you can expect from a…read morevisit here to the Naughty Cat Cafe located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Someone on TikTok made a mention to this place and when I discovered you can pay $17 to spend quality time giving affection to 30 cats looking for their forever homes, this was a MUST DO, NON NEGOTIABLE for me, lol. I purchased and reserved my spot online ahead of time at naughtycatcafe.com. Their hours are mostly 11am - 5pm daily with being closed on Monday's and Tuesday's. One noticeable rule that is mentioned by the owner/manager is to not pick up the cats as most of them have been recently spade or neutered. The main room of the cafe is a low key, rustic lounge. It's dimly lit for the benefit of a few of the residents. Veering to the right is an open space with couches and chairs for visitors to sit down on and plenty of window lighting for other cats to watch the happenings outside. I approached this one cat who was lying on her side and we bonded. I showered her with tummy rubs which she gladly accepted. Watching her closing her eyes in total bliss (and trust) had me feeling sentimental in the best way possible. It was pure joy to give this cat some cuddle time. This was actually my first ever visit to a cat cafe. I had heard about them occasionally, but never actually considered stopping inside one. But, this was the perfect time to take a break from my roadtrip travels, just connecting with cats (or animals in general) can have rejuvenating powers that is healthy for the soul. Overall, it was a blessing to spend an hour with some lovable cats. Too bad I'm not anywhere from the Chattanooga, Tennessee area but I am thankful that there are shelter/foster homes like this Naughty Cat Cafe to give them exposure to visitors who may consider adopting them, so they can live a quality life. The store is full of toys but these dogs don't have ANYTHING in their kennels to play with. Several of the dogs are in desperate need of bath and grooming. The 4 mo. Golden Retriever has been in kennel for TWO months. Asking price is now $1,495 down from $1,895. I can't imagine who would pay this amount from a pet store. What happens to the dogs if they're not adopted or get too big for the small kennels? Pitiful situation.

Recently, we had students and parents donate at least two vans full of pet food, beds, toys and…read moreother items for the animals housed at SPCA awaiting adoption. When they arrived with the donation, super excited at the response to our request for donations, they were not even greeted with a hello. The staff/volunteers who received the donation acted as if they were irritated and frustrated to receive so many items that needed to be organized and put away. Our donors felt as if they were a huge inconvenience, and not one person thanked them for the donation. Therefore, we will not make any more donations, nor will we request donations from our families. In order to continue your mission, someone must train those receiving donations to at least try to appear grateful.
