I though hard on this, and it's tough to justify anything less than 5 stars, especially for the price point for the all you can eat brunch option. I visited with 4 friends, and we had a private booth. The food kept coming...and coming...and coming! I was genuinely surprised how fast the turn-around between ordering a dish and it arrived at our table. We visited on a Sunday so they had $1 mimosas. Yes-please-thank you! All the dishes were good-to-great. I don't recall a single one of us complaining about anything we tried. And if you don't like something - order something else!

This was a tasty (& very filling) brunch experience. We were seated at one of the few remaining tables one early afternoon. The mission was dim sum and mimosas, and that was exactly what we had. All you can eat was $36 and I believe each mimosa was like $1? I was a huge fan of the peach and lychee flavors. For the food, we stuck to light dishes ... We saw some surrounding tables getting these heavy bowls of noodles, and on top of the dim sum we had already, we were like absolutely not XD. I loved the cod cilantro and lamb carrot dumplings. Coconut sago and plum pork ribs were also a highlight... Just so much yummy stuff! I would love to return at some point in the future, whether it be for brunch or just the general all you can eat experience. But I have a lot of places to tackle, so one at a time!

If you go then I would recommend just getting their unlimited brunch. You get to try a little bit of everything for around $40. My favorite things were the dumplings of course. The only thing I wouldn't get again is the lemon prawn. It just tasted like frozen fried shrimp with mayonnaise sauce on it. Cocktails were really good though. Service was a little slow so I would say order a good amount of food in the beginning. If you only order a few dishes then you will get full waiting for your second round to come The decorations are beautiful and the place is very clean and modern

Takeout review First- I truly appreciate the care that they took to package my food in the most perfect insulated bag. My food arrived safely, hot, and fresh. On to the food- the Dan Dan Noodles were PHENOMENAL!!!!!!! Serving size was perfect for two and the spice level and flavors- INCREDIBLE! Circling back to the spice level lol it was pretty hot and my sinuses were immediately relieved but it was manageable enough and did not take away from the flavors packed in the noodles and the delicious ground pork. I highly recommend this dish! I've read a few reviews about their dumplings so looks like another great reason for me to order again or even visit in person.

I love this place, especially for the AYCE brunch. It is a great way to have a taste of everything due to the small serving proportion of each order. However it is a little disappointing that none of the steamed soup dumplings are on the AYCE menu. This place is ever well decorated in a pretty modern way. The service is good. We paid $41.02 per person after tax, excluding tips.

Came here for brunch, but I have also ordered DoorDash here a few times. It's a great spot but quality of food varies depending on what you get. Let's start with the DD, I usually get the soup dumplings I love the Chicken Soup ones especially but the Pork and Spicy Pork rule too. It's a shame that those are the only soup dumpling flavors though. I also tried the sliced marinated steak yesterday and was disappointed. It was way too thin and way too chewy. Felt annoyed as I spent $12 on it. My friend ordered the veggie dumplings and she said they're ok but lacked seasoning and after I gave them a try, I was inclined to agree. Now let's discuss brunch. The menu is pictured below and $1 mimosas or add $5 onto your AYCE brunch for unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. Not a bad deal. The AYCE menu was five I was a bit underwhelmed especially since most of what I ordered with the exception of the Bao and the braised pork over rice were great. Everything else lacked seasoning. Also a major downside that the soup dumplings aren't an option. The interior is lovelely. If you have a big party with you they'll sit you in this nice and spacious booth in the back its intimate and private and allows your group to really engage in conversation. Service was good though we ran into an issue at least 3 times to my count where they kept bringing stuff we never ordered.

Service: Hit or Miss. HIT: I have a food allergy and they were very thoughtful to warn me for items brought to the table or they were able to omit the ingredient. MISS: There were times when what we ordered was not captured, so we always felt like something was missing. We would have to order something more than once to make sure we had it for the table. TIP: Going in smaller groups of people is better for the AYCE experience. Things come out in small quantities, so if you come with a big group, order double if you know you like it. Food: Since I was here for AYCE Sunday Brunch Here Are some highlights. Favorites: Crystal Shrimp Dumplings - shrimp was bouncy Pork Shu Mai - Classic flavors Soy Braised Chicken - Delicious and Juicy Scallion Pancake - Crisp! Came with a sweet chili sauce Pass: Lemon Prawn - Not lemony, more mayo based Fried Milk Sticks - Tasted slightly sour Brown Sugar Rice Cakes - wasn't expected to be fried. Was tough to eat. On to my next adventure...

Oooof! Finally! AYCE dim sum! A wonderful concept as I have been getting bored of eating at your typical brunch places that consist of eggs, pancakes, mimosas - you know, typical American flair. Why had I not discovered Tiger Dumplings sooner? The kind of place if you want to indulge and spend the rest of the afternoon in a food coma. We did pretty well considering we feasted on a total of 26 plates shared between the two of us. I appreciated that the menu noted their chef recommended items as I can be indecisive when given too many options. The staff was supportive in us wanting to try a little bit of everything. They did a wonderful job playing Tetris with the plethora of dishes that came out; which came up quickly. The restaurant did a beautiful job decorating for Chinese New Year. What a wonderful place to spend your weekend.

I have been hearing about Tiger Dumplings for a hot second! It's the place to check out! (*whispers* go for their unlimited brunch and make reservations). I went on a Sunday with a group of 4. You need reservations. I love the interior design here AND good food. Everyone at the table has to do the unlimited brunch option or go à la carte. We also got $1 mimosas ( lychee ) with our unlimited brunch. Everything was spot on. The rumors are true. It is great, delicious food. The service is prompt. Recommend walking here unless you can find parking in this area.

Really amazing fast and friendly service but the food is mid. We split everything between 3 people and had leftovers but no one wanted to take them home. My favorites were the Chengdu Spicy Wontons, Scallion Pancakes & Cucumber Salad. Will I be back? Probably not.

I met a friend at Tiger Dumplings for a quick drink and bite to eat. The location was very cute. Not too busy at 5:15. We ordered a Lychee Refresher, an order of the scallion pancake, and the Spicy Pork Soup Dumplings. Everything was really good. The staff were attentive but also a smidge impatient. It was most likely our fault though. I was waiting for him and they came up to me 2x asking if I was ready to order or if I was waiting for someone. Then when the friend arrived, we were catching up and they kept coming over asking if we were ready. However, the visit was overall a pleasant experience. I may have to go back and try their brunch!

Super busy inside and fast paced! We got all of our food before we got our drinks! However, the drinks are so worth the wait. If you have a party of two, I highly recommend one of the course menus. It was kind of a lot of food but worth it. They were out of the mango sorbet so we got a strawberry/cherry one. The one downside was that we got all of our food at once and we didn't have enough room at our table and felt a little rushed to finish the dishes, but the food was AMAZING.

Ordered takeout on a weeknight. They have a good selection. The food was ok, but the presentation was nice. I liked the lemon prawn the most. They were out of one of the items we ordered and did not let us know. When we got home we found it missing and had to call for a refund.

My favorite dishes are the shrimp har gow, crab claw balls, roasted duck, the shrimp stuffed eggplant, and egg tarts --probably the best egg tarts in the area. My kids love their baked pork buns to the point they can tell when I buy it from somewhere else lol. We've dined at plenty of other dim sum spots, but this remains as a consistent top contender for me. Note: the ambiance is casual but I've been to many events hosted here and it makes for a great canvas to portray beautiful decor.

We were like the food must be good lol When we got our food it was pretty cold. Which is weird cause they just opened. During our meal we hear screaming. It was 2 employees yelling at each other. My friends are Vietnamese and were saying that they were yelling about gambling money. It was pretty annoying and I could tell my friends were uncomfortable. But at the end is where it got really uncomfortable and awkward. The food and service was not good. So I tipped 15 percent. I should have tipped nothing but that's not me and I was in the service industry so i understand everyone has a day off. The, I assume manager or owner came up to the table and told me I'm required to tip 18 percent. I said where does it say that? He says on the receipt. I told him that says suggestions not required and that I could give him 0 tip. He proceeds to make a huge scene about the 2 extra bucks I need to pay. I finally cave because my friends were very very uncomfortable. As we leave my friend said the guy was a talking shit in Vietnamese to his employees about us. My recommendation is to go somewhere else. This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had and all over 2 dollars that they didn't deserve. I see why they have a low yelp review.

My first dim sum experience and Han Palace did not disappoint!…read more I visited Han Palace in Barracks Row for the first time and tried their all-you-can-eat dim sum. They offer Option A for $38 and Option B for $48 with Option B including additional dishes like General Tso's Chicken, Orange Chicken, and more. We chose Option B and ordered a little bit of everything! Our table was filled with fried and steamed dumplings, bao buns, General Tso's Chicken, Orange Chicken, vegetable fried rice, and several soups. The beef brisket soup was one of my favorites and the fish dish we tried was also really good. Everything came with flavorful sauces that made each dish even better. The cocktails were also a highlight. I had a refreshing lychee cocktail (I unfortunately don't remember the name) and it had the perfect balance, not watered down and actually had a good kick! They also offer a bottomless all-you-can-drink option for $18, which is a great add-on if you plan to stay and enjoy the experience. The service was great, the team came back around often to check on you and provide refills and take your next round of orders for the all-you-can-eat. The food came out fast as well, it was as if they were just continuously cooking it. Overall, I really enjoyed trying so many different dishes, especially as someone new to dim sum. It's a fun option for groups because there's so much variety to share. Would absolutely go back! I've already recommended Han Palace to friends and will definitely be back the next time I'm in D.C.!

Not bad, just not memorable. -Roast duck wonton noodle soup + beef chow fun came to roughly $50 after taxes... -Comparable dishes at Vinh Kee, Mark's Duck House, Hong Kong Palace, and TNR are noticeably cheaper. -This isn't a fancy, modern destination restaurant in the middle of a major city. It's a very dated, no-frills dining room, which makes these prices even harder to understand. -The dining room was nearly empty. Prices are handwritten over the menus. -The fish tank looked rough. -The overall space feels like it needs investment, yet the prices keep climbing. - I also wanted a small portion of roast meat, but was told it had to be purchased by the pound. So instead of getting an easy add-on sale, they got no sale at all. -Overall complicated and large outdated menu - The strangest part was watching the main dining room function like a staff break room. Staff/owners were eating at the big center table while diners sat around the perimeter, even though there was another room in the back. That is the contradiction: premium pricing, declining experience. Forcing smaller customers to pick up their costs. If the food were exceptional, maybe the premium would make sense. If the space were beautifully maintained, maybe the premium would make sense. But okay food, a tired environment, and some of the higher prices among comparable local Chinese restaurants is a hard combination to justify. I have given Full Kee multiple chances, but this was it for me. I genuinely hope ownership takes a fresh look at the pricing, upkeep, and overall experience, because right now customers are being asked to pay more while getting less.
