This place is so eclectic and whimsy. A great place where it seems the staff know the clientele. This is our 3rd year here and Gwen has always taken care of us. She will joke with you while serving you great food and a beautiful smile.

Tigers tigers tigers! Traveling around Mammoth and stopped here before visiting June Lake. SWEETEST STAFF! They've got a funky tiger themed aesthetic which is pretty fun. The food was ok... nothing extraordinary. But perfect lunch bite. Service was a little slow with about 15-20 min waiting at the bar before being served menus.

Just nice view of the town

Very disappointing experience. We visited twice in one day. During breakfast, the staff were unfriendly and repeatedly rushed us to finish eating. When we returned in the evening, we were told they were closing at 9 PM, even though their online hours said 10 PM and many customers were still inside. Both visits made us feel unwelcome. As Asian customers, we couldn't help but wonder if we were being treated differently. Very poor customer service. We definitely won't be coming back.

Reliable spot to grab a solid meal before or after a trip in the backcountry. Ordered the shrimp taco plate with chips, which were crispy and salty. Other buddies got burgers and fries. Food was all great and filling. Good variety of tasty beers. Service was helpful and efficient. Cool vibe and interesting story about the origination of the restaurant's tiger logo.

This is a very cool local bar/restaurant. I would recommend going here knowing you aren't going for high quality food, but great local, chill vibes. The beer was great, service was great and the local feel in the atmosphere is exactly what you want in this small town. Food wise- nothing special but just fine. I got the French dip and the meat was semi dry and the au ju was very thick but it was bearable. It hit the comfort food spot but not the quality food spot.

The cheese bites and buffalo cauliflower were perfect snacks with the local draft beers. Lots of fun merchandise and friendly service.

Food was excellent for the location, had the salmon which came with a salad and fries which tastes great. The veggie nachos were good too. Drinks weee solid with a decent price. Got seated quickly but had a hit of a wait to have our order taken, which is understandable given that they were so busy. Nice ambiance with TVs and sports playing.

Short little review as I stumbled into this bar to grab a quick Bloody Mary and it didn't disappoint. Tiger Bar & Cafe is a long time staple in June Lake. Everything about it is giving time capsule and they don't need to upgrade much because it's a local hole in the wall favorite. This spot is open early morning to evening, making it one of the only spots in June Lake where you can score breakfast. I wandered in at 10am craving a Bloody Mary and seeing that every other bar / restaurant in town was closed. When you are the only option you're a good option lol. I sat up at the old school diner bar and it was cozy. The bar itself has lots of Tiger swag and merch all across it. Funny signs and sayings, this place is a hoot. Staff were nice and friendly. Almost immediately when I sat down a nice gal took my order, cashed me out and made me my Bloody Mary. For an $8 Bloody Mary it hit the spot. A little small but packed with flavor. Happy I could try this famous Mary while I was in downtown lake June. I'd come back to try their breakfast and to grab another cocktail next time. A good local spot, no frills, just a classic diner and bar.

Homey, authentic diner in the middle of town when visiting. Generous portions and exciting menu. The food was delicious, but there was some wait time of getting first greeted, ordering, and paying your check. Family comes here often and loves the food!

Great dive bar with a long history in June Lake. Amazing house made potato chips. Solid menu with something for everyone. Welcoming staff and a great place to chat with locals, hikers, folks here for fishing, skiers, bikers, vacationers, leaf peepers- you name it. At times the service can be a bit slow, but I imagine staffing is not easy in a town this size.

The hubby walking into The Tiger Bar. I love their mascot, it's so cute!

This restaurant was a wonderful find! There were 5 of us…read moreand we each had a great meal! We had rolled chicken taquitos in a yummy sauce, a carne asada quesadilla oozing with cheese and full of well seasoned meat, a pollo asado plate with delicious homemade tortillas and a carnitas tachuache (which we had never heard of before)! All of it was delicious. It's a quiet enough place to have great conversation and our server was so sweet. She took really good care of us! We highly recommend this restaurant!

One Star for 'not good'. Oh man, how the rest of the below reviews are confusing because our…read moreexperience was the antithesis of the other reviews. . Largest unsavory complaint is that I (and the rest of my family of 3) were incredibly sick within 30 minutes of eating here. We are San Diegan's so we have a strong Mexican food tolerance. We ate nowhere else this day so we are positive something was amiss with the food, or salsas. We ordered chicken Taquitos, Chicken quesadilla and the Chili Relleno and guacamole, and chips and salsa. NOTE: The only reason I ordered the relleno is because the "printed menu" says that it's stuffed with Manchego cheese, which is sheep's milk cheese. But it came out with cow's milk cheese. Heavily egg-battered so it was just bleh. Lastly, the food was way too expensive for the low quality.
