The green curry was moderately hot served with vegetables including fresh green beans, perfectly cooked shrimp and Jasmine rice. Couldn't stop eating it! Most meals have a choice of protein. So far Tifudi is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. We've tried a few and we keep coming back here. Thai is probably my favorite cuisine and specifically I'm addicted to Thai green curry. I'm very particular and am often let down when restaurants slack on the creaminess/richness of the curries. I've yet to experience that here. I've tried most of the curries offered here and they are all very rich and flavorful! The Drunken Noodle is delicious as is the basil fried rice. They nail the landing on coconut soup and as recently offered with dinner egg drop soup. I've never been much of a fan of egg drop soup but Tifudi changed my mind! I'll enjoy theirs any day which makes me wonder if this is what egg drop soup should really taste like. Tifudi raises the bar on so many dishes. Being from Atlanta and constantly on the road, there are only a couple of standout Thai restaurants that would keep bringing me back and Tifudi is one that makes the list of about 3 top favs, which says a lot! Tried this cute little storefront Thai restaurant in downtown Anderson. A friend and I went at 6pm on a Tuesday. We parked in the Parking Garage right beside the restaurant. The restaurant had great ambiance. Soft music playing, nicely decorated and very clean. Great first impression. We were seated right away. We spent several minutes going over the menu because it was my friend's first time eating Thai. The server was very helpful explaining the different dishes. We had the Crab Rangoons as an appetizer. They were yummy. Jenn, my friend, ordered the ORANGE & HONEY FRIED CHICKEN and I ordered the GREEN CURRY WITH CHICKEN. They both were served with white rice. Both were delicious! Nice portions. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that as the evening went along and the restaurant started to fill, the service got a little slower. Still good. We were not in a hurry and the server checked on us several times during the meal. When we were ready to leave it did take a while to get our receipt. Room for improvement on that issue. But that said, I would definitely eat here again. Just plan to get there at opening. read more

Excellent Thai. We had a party of 8 and they took great care of us. Two kids in the group and they were thrilled with the kids menu. Several Curry dishes were served along with Pad Thai and some that slipped out of my memory. All were great and the servings were HUGE. I'm thinking that next time we might split a few dishes. We started with Pot lickers that were delicious. Ordered a bottle of sparkling Saki (right it's not Thai)... but it was good. Service was personal, attentive, and quite pleasant. I love that I found Tifudi! The food is excellent!--best Thai in the Anderson area with some extra variety options for that friend who isn't completely sold on Thai. Service is polite and prompt. Owner is friendly. The parking is limited during the day but it is only a half block from S Main at the courthouse (if you find an on-street spot on Main) and next to the Whitner St parking garage. After 5 there is plenty of parking in the lot behind the courthouse. The setting is fairly casual. I have never felt crowded near other diners. Some window seats with street view. read more

I moved to Seneca from Michigan over a year ago and was on the hunt for the best Thai around.... Tonight we were visiting magnetic south brewery down the street and I overheard someone talking about how good the Thai food was at Tifundi... it was fate! I ordered online while at the brewery, walked over to pick up my take out and drove the 40 minutes back to Seneca ... my oh my was it worth the wait!!! We've been here several times. The food is delicious. You can get your meal as mild or as spicy as you like. We loved the appetizer sampler and the sauces that come with it are wonderful. We try to eat here often. Very friendly wait staff and food is prepared to order. This restaurant sits directly beside the parking garage which is a plus. My favorite meal is the Penang Curry dish. We also love the noodle bowls as well. If you love fresh Thai food you'll love this little jewel located in the heart of the city of Anderson. The setting there is quaint and a very nice date night atmosphere. This place is where the old Meeting Place used to be for anyone familiar with that. Lovely place to visit if you're in Anderson. This place is such a vast contrast of great and terrible. Stopped here for lunch. Restaurant owner was super nice and made us feel comfortable especially with small kids. When we first walked in there was an unpleasant dank smell but it was well decorated and we were seated immediately. He even gave us a small elephant pot of water for the kids which they loved. Spring rolls and soup were very fresh and yummy. The pad Thai however.....it smelled like vomit to me...it looked like vomit as well. I didn't say anything until someone else (who ordered pad Thai) said something to confirm. This is the first time I have ever ordered anything and couldn't bring myself to taste it. On the flip side the soup and red curry were very yummy (except please don't be stingy on the meat portions, especially chicken). We won't go back, but we aren't local.
