Classic Pho shop. This place is a nice spot located by a couple of hotels. If you need a quick bite this is the place

    Shrimp Fried Rice

They had only been open for about an hour when I ordered some shrimp fried rice online to pick up. I was about ten min away so I arrived earlier knowing it wouldn't be done when I arrived. I was greeted when I entered and asked if I wanted to dine in or if I was picking up. He let me know it would be about five more minutes. It was pretty empty but there was some folks sitting to the left of the door and a couple entered as I was standing there and was seated immediately. They began to play some music but it was really loud imo. My rice came out, I made sure there was a fork in the bag and left. The rice was sub par and flavorless. The shrimp was overcooked and it could've all used some soy sauce. $19 for overcooked rice... The pho has to be better!

    Vermicelli

Hmmm. Ordered spring rolls. Fairly large. Not much pork. Did have shrimp. Ordered pork vermicelli. The pork was chunks instead of flavorful thin sliced pork. Couldn't eat it. Egg roll was tasteless. Ambience fair. Fly in dining room.

Not the most pleasant but I enjoyed my food. Not sure if I will go back. This is the second time that our service wasn't great. This would be the only reason I don't return.

The flavor of the pho was extremely delicious. I ordered the Seafood pho. I was expecting "seafood" for example, shrimp, fish, muscles, squid, etc. this dish came with fish balls, 4 medium sized shrimp, and imitation squid. The cost was 16.99. I tried to get him to charge me just for Shrimp pho which was 15.99 since the other ingredients was imitation meat and not that enjoyable. Also, I'm told shrimp pho comes with 8 shrimp. Probably the better bang for your buck unless you enjoy the texture of imitation squid. The menu does not tell you what comes in your pho, it would be helpful to add it. The fried shrimp was really good. The chili sauce was perfect. The restaurant was clean and orderly. If I come back, I would try more dishes instead of the pho.

Service was good, food was appealing to look at and tasted delicious! Best coffee I ever had.

Pho Rare steak and brisket bowl

No ice tea, because it's close to closing time (7:30). The table was sticky. I ordered fried short ribs and fried too hard & hardly any meat, lots of fat on the bone. Great fries! Husband got rare steak and brisket, it was delicious.

Noticing Pho Bac was closed and craving pho on a rainy day, we stopped by Pho Augusta. Some of the same servers are at this location. The interior was a little messy but it does look nice. This night it was freezing inside, I will definitely make sure we both have jackets next time. The pho was as good I hoped for. I liked their beef balls a lot - good texture. Decent flavored broth and plenty of food per bowl, since there is only one size here.

The food and service were excellent. One of the best phos I've tasted in the Augusta area. I will be returning soon!

By far my most favorite Pho place in Augusta Georgia. The food is amazing with so many fantastic options to choose from, and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Since Pho Bac closed down Pho Augusta has became the #1 prime spot for Vietnamese food. From start to finish the experience was well worth it. Service was quick and attentive. They do search adult beverages which is great for if you want to have dinner and chill. Will continue to be a weekly customer.

I am an avid food lover, and I photograph just about every beautiful dish placed in front of me. But Cork & Flame was different. From the moment we walked through the doors, the experience was so exceptional and immersive that, for once, I simply forgot about the camera. I was too busy being present and enjoying every moment. We were immediately greeted by smiling hostesses who congratulated us on our anniversary. While we waited to be seated, we were presented with two beautiful flutes of champagne,- a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for what was to come. We were also presented with the most thoughtful Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff. Once seated, we were welcomed by an incredible team, but our waitress was truly in a class of her own. I have never encountered service quite like hers. Her knowledge of the menu was exceptional, and every detail of the evening felt intentional. The way she guided us through our selections and thoughtfully presented each course made something as simple as ordering dinner feel like part of a carefully choreographed work of art. We began with an amuse-bouche, and even the experience surrounding it was remarkable. Before enjoying it, we were presented with the most thoughtfully prepared Japanese hand wipes, delicately infused with yuzu and hydrated right before us in the most discreet and elegant fashion. It was such a small detail, but one we never knew we needed until we experienced it. It was the kind of thoughtful touch that made the entire evening feel so carefully considered. Then came the beef and onion empanadas, and they were absolutely out of this world, beautifully prepared and exploding with layers of exciting flavor. Alongside them came a beautiful board of crunchy, delicious bread paired with the lightest, fluffiest butter I have ever experienced. The butter itself was infused with a subtle smoky flavor and was unlike anything I have ever tasted. Somehow, even something as simple as bread and butter felt completely elevated and memorable. For our entrées, we were once again completely blown away. My husband had the lobster gnocchi, bursting with incredible flavors of lobster and chorizo, perfectly balanced and beautifully finished. My entrée was the chef's special by ,Chef Gaston, a breathtaking rosemary infused skirt steak served with whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. It arrived beneath a beautiful dome that preserved the aromatic smoke until it was lifted tableside in front of me. It wasn't simply dinner; it was a presentation, an aroma, a moment, and an experience all at once. And then came dessert, which somehow managed to continue the perfection of the evening. My husband enjoyed an incredibly decadent yet surprisingly light dessert accompanied by an assortment of unforgettable dips, including a pineapple dip unlike anything we had ever experienced. I opted for a refreshing and beautifully light Limoncello tiramisu, and once again, every element was executed flawlessly. From the food to the presentation, the service to the smallest details, everything was truly top tier. There was such a level of care and intention behind everything we experienced that it made the entire evening feel incredibly special. It wasn't just a meal--it was an experience thoughtfully designed from beginning to end. Cork & Flame doesn't simply serve a meal--it creates an experience. It feels like stepping into another world, almost like taking a culinary journey without ever leaving your table. Every course tells a story, every detail has a purpose, and every member of the staff seems genuinely invested in making your experience extraordinary. I would recommend Cork & Flame a million times over--not just for the food, but for the entire experience. If you appreciate culinary artistry, exceptional service, thoughtful details, and a restaurant that genuinely cares about creating a memorable evening, this is somewhere you absolutely need to experience. And honestly, the fact that I have no pictures to show you might be the greatest compliment I can give. For once, I didn't need my camera. I just needed to be present for one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had.

I ordered the catfish: Hot Honey Catfish | 26 lightly fried, polenta cake, collard greens, chow chow, hot honey drizzle. It came with grits, not a polenta cake, which was fine except they sat too long and had hardened on top. The collards were excellent but the "Catfish" was pure mush. Really not edible. I had to wait for my plate to come out because they ran out of the chow chow so I think my plate must have sat under the light for a while. I think they should have cooked another piece of fish rather than sending that one out. I could not/did not eat it. The chow chow overpowered the hot honey drizzle completely. The server kindly took it off the bill but I would have rather had a piece of crispy catfish. My nephew ordered the Pappardelle Frutti di Mare| 29 shrimp and crawfish tail meat, mushroom, white wine butter cream, shaved parmesean which was TOO SPICY for him to eat. When we mentioned this to the server she said the spice was normal for the dish and she would ask the chef to mention this on the menu. Didn't help us this time as the menu made no mention of any spiciness and we didn't know to ask to tone it down, which we would have asked had we known it was spicy. There was a special seasonal salad, with blueberries, peaches, and watermelons which was 10/10. We had ordered one to split but fortunately they forgot to split it so we got a whole salad each and I was thankful because it was beyond tasty and filling!! Would go back again for the salad alone!! Hopefully these problems will be rectified and we will give them another chance.
