At the Perfect Massage & Oriental Bodywork the owner Luba is an excellent massage therapist. Have…read morebeen going to her for over five years now. I was so tired of going places to have a deep tissue therapeutic massage and instead being given a glorified Swedish (relaxation) massage for barely 50 minutes out of a hour appointment. Luba offers Ashiatsu massages where she can deliver greater pressure to the muscle groups, and she does so for the full appointment time and at fair prices. One thing I really like about Luba's technique and professionalism is that if she comes across a real sore spot will she do some extra focus time on that area so you can have some therapeutic gain. Have also had Thai and hot stone massages from her and even send my mom to her as well. - Joe V

If you're seeking deep, therapeutic bodywork that addresses the root cause of your pain, she's an absolute gem. I suffer from severe migraines and carry an incredible amount of tension in my neck and shoulders, which radiates into my delts and down my forearms. Despite her petite stature, Cathy possesses an incredible amount of strength and has an uncanny ability to locate and work through those stubborn knots. I was sore for a couple of days in the areas she focused on, but it was the kind of soreness that comes from muscles finally releasing years of tension--not from any mistakes on her part. Cathy truly understands her craft, and if you're dealing with chronic pain, tension, or migraines, I highly recommend booking a session with her.

Also, I couldn't enjoy my massage in peace when the door keep opening and closing, ding dong ding sound was very disturbing and annoying. Her massage skills and technique are second to none. She has an inherent ability to instinctively know exactly what your body needs without having to say a word. I'm a tough case in that I have a sensitive body that doesn't always respond well to touch, but she knew with an almost psychic ability exactly how to handle my physical needs. I was comfortable and comforted by the entire treatment. I felt not only physical relief, but an emotional release as well after our session was complete. It goes without saying that I will be back. She is, without a doubt, the best massage therapist I've ever encountered and Jacksonville is very fortunate to have her.

I contacted her through Yelp late last night, and I was pleasantly surprised that I got a fast response AND she was able to get me in first thing this morning! They are located only 10 minutes from my home, which was nice. As this was my first time visiting this business, I was a bit nervous. I have Fibromyalgia and sensory processing disorder, so how I am touched can either help me relax or leave me in excruciating pain. Winnie used perfect pressure from beginning to end. We did the foot massage first. I had never had a professional foot massage before, and it was SO good! I'm on my feet all day working as a personal chef and household manager, and they often ache. When I arrived, Winnie and I talked about what I was looking for in a massage, as we decided it would be a good move to upgrade my body massage to the oil and hot stone massage. first time I get hot stone and aromatherapy free , and it was so worth it! The basic body massage was fantastic and very thorough, including my face, ears, and hands, which often get missed with a full body massage. We ended with the oil and hot stone treatment, and my body just melted! It was absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be coming back :-)
