My husband started visiting Tiffany's a few years back and worked with Diana. If not for Diana's amazing customer service I'm sure he could have could elsewhere to shop for special gifts. Time and time again Diana's personal touch has made walking into Tiffany's feel like a special experience. From birthdays, anniversary, graduation, Valentines and special preview events. I have had a "meh" experience previously when picking up a tie for my husband a few years ago, but that was my lesson...always have your person that you enjoy working with. Went into the new Tiffany store located in the Kenwood mall and I was pleasantly surprised. Of course the store is beautiful and I love all of their jewelry but their customer service is what really mattered to me. I'm a young girl and I'm often treated as if I am not worth the time because I will not spend the money they want, but when I went into Tiffany last night I was treated with absolute respect and helped to fulfill my order by a very nice lady. I even had to call today to follow up on my order and yet another super nice lady answered the phone and I am happy to say this because at their old location it was not the same. Attention to detail goes a long way! While visiting from Houston decided to stop by Tiffany's, bought a mini double heart tag necklace. We opened the box and the necklace has multiple knots. The salesperson was rude, rushed and very unprofessional not the kind of service expected from Tiffany & Co. I see from the other reviews here, my experience is not unique. This location is poorly run with rude and uncaring staff. I would like to give feedback on the new store in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Kenwood Towne Center. I have been to many of your stores across the US and purchased many items for my wife. I have never seen such a poorly run store in my life. I would recommend someone observe how these people treat your customers. I have been multiple times for purchases and repairs and my experience has been poor each time. One person stands out as the worst. There is a tall older man with white hair that is so bad I will not return to this store ever and I probably not shop the brand any more. He may be a manager, but I find him condescending and rude. The first time we had him, we could tell he was watching the door as he waited on us. Once he found out I was looking for less than $700, I couldn't get his attention. Once he saw a new customer walk in (who was dressed very fancy) he actually walked away and had someone else wait on us. He only came back to ring us out and make sure he got his commission. The young lady who took over for him was obviously embarrassed and tried her best to smile. Im sure she realized she was not getting any commission on her time while he took the new customer. Besides him, I have had many pieces cleaned and repaired. I have NEVER received one call back letting me know the jewelry was ready. After I complained I was told I just have to stop up to see if they are in since no one answers the phone during the day. This place is dismal to say the least. I know you are proud of the brand and that it stands for quality. This store is damaging the Tiffany brand every day it is open. Response to manager: Thank you for your response. It is disappointing that I work right across the street from Kenwood Towne Center and I cannot use your location under these circumstances. Quality of customer care should never be tied to the dollar value of the purchase. In my experience, this is the standard operating procedure at your location. I hope you are able to change this moving forward as this has cost you and Tiffany's a long term customer. The jewelry here is the best you'll ever come across. The items will last basically forever and they look amazing. I have several pieces of Tiffany jewelry and have bought many pieces of Tiffany jewelry as gifts. The location is prime and fairly easy to get to. So why the low rating? Straight up rude, terrible customer service. So I'm not a 40-something, downtown working, dude looking to go in there and drop thousands of dollars on something. I am however, someone that walks into the store for a reason. I research my purchase online then go into the store to get it. I'm obviously going to buy something but the staff here doesn't seem to bat an eyelash at my arrival. This place is pretty big and I usually circle the place at least twice before I physically seek out someone to help me find the item I already know I'm going to buy. The employees here actually seem to run away from me like ants under a magnifying glass when I attempt to walk up to them. It's just an overall uncomfortable experience. The last few times it's been the same person who came up to help me, and honestly the only person in the store who seemed like a pleasant person to be around. If they earn commission I'm glad this person got mine because she's the only one that ever seems interested in helping me. I get it. You have young people that walk into this store all the time goofing around, not serious about buying stuff, or even looking to steal something. I understand the stereotype of "young people". But at least have the decency to ask me if I need any help and don't run away from me and give me the stank eye. I absolutely love the product here, but unfortunately not the service. read more

I hate to be one to follow suit but the service here is really bad. We came down from Fairfield to get a Valentines Day gift. I was greeted promptly while hubby was parking and told the salesperson for what I was looking. He was very scattered and not very organized. I had a couple things in mind and he was all over the place. I was looking for a ring and I wanted to try it on IN MY CORRECT SIZE and buy it there. NOT wanting to wait for it to be shipped to the house. He was annoyed that I wanted to try on the rings before choosing and his attitude was very obvious. My hubby finally met me in the store and the sales person had left a ring out on the counter on one of their presentation pads on the other side of the room. I chose a ring from the other side of the room in one of those cases but returned to the one side where I was before. Where that ring that was left out was located. The salesperson came back over and looked at me and asked me where that ring came from. I explained to him that he had left it out and I was showing it to my husband as one I had tried on. The salesman looked at me and seriously said, "im so glad it and you are still here" while scurrying to put the ring back in the case. Like I was going to stick it in my pocket and steal it from the store. My hubby and I looked at each other, shocked. We paid for the ring I chose and left. I want to say ive bought many silver pieces from this store and I can definitely say I will not be back again to this place. I can say I WILL go to Tiffanys in Columbus before I will buy from this one again. Ive been in Tiffany stores all the way across the United States and ive never experienced this type of behavior from a salesperson. I had a necklace lengthened by the Tiffany & Co service and repair desk. The service desk can be found by going to the back of the store and up the stairs. When I dropped my piece of jewelry off I was disappointed that they said it would take 3 weeks. But after only 2 weeks I received a phone call and a letter in the mail notifying me that my necklace was ready for pick up. It came back perfect and shiny again too! read more

I bought the one sterling men's ring (yes I know it's not a men's store) and then found out that a competitor sold a much more (valuable) pretty ring for much less. You pay for the price. But I would rather cheap Mexican than overpriced sushi. If you can get over the arduous task of hinting "I want blue" to your man, send him to an online reseller. Had my necklace polished and they were to send it to me. They sent the wrong necklace. They called and instead of telling me they made a mistake they asked how my necklace was. I then told them it was not my necklace and they said they thought there was a mistake. They had ups cone I didn't pickup the package and after a week I get mine. Cincinnati's Tiffany & Company may be significantly smaller than its New York City or Chicago counterparts, but the service at the store is not at all compromised. I'm a self-proclaimed Tiffany groupie so despite rarely ever being able too afford anything the store sells I find myself pulling open the massive silver doors at the corner of Fountain Square at least six times a year. I enjoy trying on the various works of art that Tiffany offers and the staff has always been more than happy to accommodate my requests; even when I ask to try on the supremely pricey items. I take the (little) Tiffany jewelry that I do own to the store a few times a year to have it cleaned and polished. I'm pretty convinced that Tiffany actually replaces my silver every time I have it polished; it comes back looking that nice. Stores of Tiffany's stature are often pretentious and intimidating to those who aren't used to dropping tens of thousands of dollars on jewelry, but the Cincinnati location is welcoming and supportive of all shoppers, even too wide-eyed pre-teens getting their first taste of what every girl wants... read more

I have been coming to this tiffany store to buy my mother and sister their birthday and christmas presents the last couple years now. The first time I went in I had their gifts shipped to NY as we were going to be vacationing there over their birthdays. We walked into the NY store they sent us upstairs and gave them their gifts. I have not been shopping here recently (last few months) but I always had excellent customer service. I remember a few years back, I had a younger gentlemen (Adam Karle) wait on me. I was buying a engagement ring for my second wife, I am in my fifties. He ordered 6 rings in for me to look at and choose from. He was very patient with me and it took me a while to make up my mind. The first ring I wanted was no longer available and he got me a ring just like it. I could not ask for better Customer Service. I haven't seen him in there recently but it would be a total loss for the company if he was no longer there. read more

Tiffany sure does have some beautiful pieces. Items are displayed tastefully in a renovated showroom. When I walked in, the security man with a wire in his ear asked me if he could help me. I don't know if that is his job or if I looked extra suspicious. It was creepy. The sales people are not knowledgable about the full product range. I was shuffled from person to person as I inquired about different items. I did not care for this approach. The sales is a bit pushy. I suggest having an idea of what you want along with a budget prior to entering the store. Procedures are very corporate. A 2" inch longer chain request requires your piece being sent to a different location within the US. In that respect, Tiffany is very corporate and not your neighborhood jewelry store. Unless you are totally in love with Tiffany pieces, I think you will receive more individualized attention at a local jewelry store. read more

I had my three adult children with me and did several laps around the store. All the associates were huddled together in a corner of the store talking to each other.
