I have to say, Genesis Diamonds is one of those 'wow' customer service businesses. Today, that's hard to find. As a Wedding Specialist at a local venue, and someone who works with hundreds of Brides a year, I can't tell you that I've seen a better selection and quality than I've seen at Genesis Diamonds. And we were thrilled to have purchased our bands and my engagement ring with Kelley, who found the perfect style, price, and fit for me! When I lived in Nashville, I would hear so much buzz about Genesis but never had a reason to find out what everyone was talking about. Fast forward to being back home and knowing that my now husband was looking, I put the bug in his ear that I had seen so many beautiful rings come from their stock! We decided to go together, so he could get my input on what would fit best for me. And being in the industry of Wedding Planning, I could tell he was dreading shopping with me! But Genesis not only made it easy, but affordable. Two words you don't typically hear when you think of engagement ring shopping! Now, a married Wedding planner, I get SO MANY compliments on my ring. Not only is my engagement ring stunning, but my two book end rose gold bands that sit on both sides perfect the look. They truly draw everyone's eye to my set and leave them asking 'where did you design that at?' Genesis truly helped me pick out a unique set that was like no other I had seen before. I am thrilled to tell all of my Brides (and grooms) where to go to get great deals and great customer service! Genesis also has a great referral program. If I send a Bride to a business as a referral, I only do so with confidence knowing that they will role out the red carpet for my Brides. I always have their best interest in mind. I will never send any of my clients to another store after my experience with Genesis. They truly care about their customers and at the end of the day, they want them to be happy what they've chosen. Genesis Diamonds Cincinnati started out well. I got my fiancee's engagement ring and wedding band together for about $10K, and I thought everything about the store was great at the time. A few months later, I went back to order my wedding band. I ordered my band, and had it put on layaway with a $160 deposit. After ordering the band, I found a similar band at another jeweler for nearly 75% less cost. I cancelled my order with Genesis, and asked if I could get my deposit back in the form of a store credit. I wasn't asking to get cash back, just store credit so I could buy something else for my fiancee. Genesis would not let me do that; instead they told me that by cancelling this order I forfeited my deposit due to the fact that they had to order the ring since they did not have my size at the store, and they would be stuck with the ring. I did not order this ring as a special order, and I did not customize the ring, so Genesis could easily sell it to a future customer that had the same ring size as me, and they probably did just that. Or since it was never picked up/used, they probably could send it back to where they ordered it from. I just find it hard to believe that the store could not offer me any sort of store credit. It baffles me that they just took my $160 deposit, especially after I had already spent $10k with them. In the grand scheme of things, $160 is not that much money, but it is about the principal. To me that shows that Genesis Diamonds Cincinnati is all about the money (which I know businesses have to be to a point), and they don't truly care about their customers, which could be customers for life. They did not take into consideration that I spent 10K with them earlier, and was looking for a credit to spend more with them in the future. It's not a smart business move on Genesis Diamonds Cincinnati's end . In the grand scheme of things, a $160 credit is nothing to a store like this, and it would not have cost them anything. In fact, it would have given them additional money, as I would have more than likely purchased something more than that amount. Instead they get to keep my deposit, and lost my business from here on out. I will not shop there again, and will not refer this place to anyone. read more

On opening weekend, My Girlfriend and I went to Genesis Diamonds to check them out. We had shopped other jewelry stores before but I never found a store that employed diamond specialists who knew what they were talking about. The first person we spoke at Genesis Diamonds with was David Cooper, the Vice President! David and his staff members are very knowledgeable about diamonds and are all super cool. After just 10 minutes, it felt like I had built a relationship with the Diamond Specialists. Now, I am a salesman and I hate when people try to sell me. At Genesis Diamonds, there was something different. There was no pressure. Unlike all the other Jewelry stores I've been too, the staff at Genesis Diamonds did not pressure me to buy and gave me answers that actually made sense. The first impression was amazing. Three weeks later, I walked into the store at 10:00 AM when they opened. All of the staff remembered my name. I knew right then that this was my store. 45 minutes later, I purchased an engagement ring for my girlfriend of a little over 2 years. One that I sold myself on. One that I picked out myself. David and his staff made my day. Especially with the 36 month 0% financing now until Christmas. Hats off to the all new Genesis Diamonds for helping me take my relationship to the next level. My wife and I were immediately impressed with Genesis Diamonds. We had been to many other places looking for a wedding ring to match her engagement ring. Within two minutes Kelly understood exactly what were looking for and helped us find the perfect ring. They made us feel very comfortable from the start and did not put any pressure on us at all. They then cleaned and made her engagement look brand new( even though it was from somewhere else) so we could see how the two would look together. They welded them and resized them to fit perfectly and have done all the upkeep with no problems at all. I was so happy with them I went back to get my ring there. I was not looking for a generic one, so they talked to the factory and got one that was specially made to my liking. I have since been back to get my wife a ring that she can wear to work.
