Had a couple of breakfast pastries, a cheese danish which was good (not exceptional)and the same with the crumb bun. Tried 4 differently slices of cake. The best one was the chocolate raspberry ( a little heavy on the gelatin for the raspberry glaze). The 2nd best was the Black Forest; 3 and 4th is tough...I would have to pick the red velvet ( even though it was a bit off and maybe a day older) and the runner up was the German chocolate cake, a little heavy on coconut and I didn't taste any pecans.

The associate was nice as he handed me the brownie cookie. I decided to take a bite on my way home, and was surprised to see grease under the entire cookie. The edges were very dry, and the flavor was like when a birthday candle drips on your cake. No chocolate flavor, and definitely did not taste like a brownie cookie. Very disappointing. Update: thank you for your reply but it's not that I just didn't like the flavor. As I stated in my review, there was grease on the bottom of the box, the edges were dry and crumbly, and the flavor tasted like wax. To me this is either an old mix or low quality ingredients. I have had your cookies before and liked them, but the last few times at this location were not good. I think from the lack of customers my opinion is shared. I hope things will get better.

I tried the wings and a cod sandwich--both had good flavor, though they seemed previously frozen, and the cod was a little chewy. The wings would've been perfect if I had asked for them fried hard. Dessert that night was a slice of cake that was absolutely delicious. Since then, I've gone back twice and left just as satisfied. For breakfast Friday morning, I had eggs over easy with home fries and bacon--everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Saturday's lunch was a massive Italian sub (or "hoagie" as they call it in Delaware) that was so big I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Their baked desserts are amazing--my personal favorite is the yellow cake with chocolate icing. Service can be a bit slow at times, but the staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the food keeps me coming back. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Smyrna.
