Lucas with Tide Wave Pools was AWESOME! Let me start off by saying we bought our house in 2024 and have dealt with a few different companies. We've dealt with a few for a few different reasons / issues... Not being fully impressed with one particular one; we were totally impressed with Lucas. We had what we thought may be a clog, Lucas evaluated the whole equipment, gave us the lowdown as to what was going on, explained to us what we should keep an eye out for and also re-explained the Aqualink app as well. He not only went into detail about everything but he, himself understood everything better than anyone else we've dealt with. Our pool was long overdue for replastering and coping repairs. We looked into several companies before deciding to move forward with Tide Wave Pools. While their pricing was slightly higher than another contractor we considered, their knowledge, transparency, and attention to detail stood out immediately. Lucas, the owner, arrived on time and took the time to really understand what we wanted. He carefully walked us through our options and explained the scope of the work. Within a few days, he sent over multiple options with clear pricing and even included mockups so we could visualize the final result. Throughout the entire project, Lucas and his team were extremely responsive and kept us informed at every stage. The project began within a week and took just over four weeks to complete due to some rain delays--but the end result exceeded our expectations. We truly appreciated that Lucas handled much of the work himself; it's clear he takes great pride in his business. He managed all of the city permits, including online filings and fees (which we reimbursed), and personally handled the inspection process--even waiting through multi-hour inspection windows and answering all questions. Lucas was also present on plastering day, overseeing everything from start to finish, and completed the acid wash himself. There were so many small details he took care of that we didn't even realize were necessary. At the end of each phase, Lucas and his team made sure the backyard was clean and free of debris. Now we're just in the waiting period while the water chemistry balances out--and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Tide Wave Pools. The folks tide wave pools had the job done in less than 48hrs after trying to find someone to fix our issues. They were courteous, swift and were done with the fix in under 2hrs. They also repainted and scoped/assessed our current pool filtration system, labeled all the tubes and components while providing me clear ideas on why they did what they did. I reached out for a service request for my pool cleaner and spa jets not operating properly. I was contacted by Lucas w/ Tide Wave Pools. He came by my home to assess the issue and found a actuator had worn out and suggested replacing jet fitting. Lucas ordered parts needed for both issues and promptly returned a few days later and completed repairs. Both are now working fine and pricing for parts and labor was very reasonable. Lucas and his team at Tide Wave Pools are great! They did a great job for me and replaced the Hayward cartridge filter, pump, in-pool lights and pool automation system with a new Jandy system, while also cleaning 19 years of calcium buildup on my salt water pool tiles in three days. The finish result is great and pool looks almost as good as when it was built 20 years ago. I was initially hesitant to use Tide Wave Pools as they did not have many reviews and there was not much information about the company online. However, I was very impressed by Lucas's team and the full diagnosis of my pool repair/replacement needs they provided during an initial site visit visit to my pool.
