This place is very expensive and I think the quality would be good. However, the price is like doubled to triple other places.

I have had multiple items of clothing damaged at this establishment. While I was repeatedly assured that these items would be replaced, the process has taken months, and in some cases years, with ongoing unmet promises. At one point, I had to threaten legal action simply to retrieve a dress that had been in their possession. Even then, it was returned without its original belt. Communication has also been a significant issue, as managers consistently failed to return phone calls or respond to voicemails. Although the staff on-site have been courteous and helpful, the management's lack of accountability and follow-through has been extremely disappointing. I initially chose this business because it promotes itself as an eco-friendly dry cleaner, but unfortunately, my experience has not reflected a commitment to quality care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service--particularly for high-end garments. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative options. read more

The Tide team has always been incredibly nice and professional. My shirts are always crisp and clean.

I would like to commend Tide Cleaners in Tampa. The quality of the dry cleaning and laundry service is exceptional. Most importantly though, is the service. I would especially like to mention three of the people who work there: Scarlett, Candace and Kimberly. They remember me by name and are always kind and efficient. Alexander Ogg read more

My husband loves this place because the set up requires minimal interaction with the staff. He drops off his clothing in his labelled Tide bag, and it's ready for pickup from the ATM the next day. Very convenient. I did the drop off recently. I parked in one of the designated curbside service spots, and within 30 seconds, there was someone to collect the Tide bag, and that was it! Super fast and convenient. I cannot comment on how they do with difficult cleaning jobs, as my husband doesn't overly soil his clothing. But for basic dry cleaning and laundering, they are satisfactory for my husband's purposes. read more

Stains in life are sometimes hard to handle and can forever taint the tapestry of your life. Nevertheless if that blemish you hope to blow away is on a blouse or bedsheet then tide cleaners is your place to go. This store has hours unlikely any other high quality provider open on all but sundays. Now you may be thinking that with a 9-5 how are you supposed to pick up that suit you need for a Sunday wedding? Well if you cannot make it by end of day Saturday evening then fret no more as once an established customer you can access their 24hr pickup kiosk. Link your account and checkout is a snap. I've brought it all to this place. Especially impressed with the handling and packing of my bed comforter which despite best efforts has suffered some casualties from time to time and always comes back in better condition than prior for the low price of $40. The south Dale location is tough at rush hour, but well worth the crosstown trip for me and will always be my chosen Tampa cleaner! read more

Tide was very professional in doing my dry cleaning. Drop off was easy and fast and the pickup was just as fast. I especially liked how quick they were with my laundry with it being ready the next day! The prices were reasonable and it's at a good location on Dale Mabry so I will definitely be back for my dry cleaning in the future! read more

Tide Cleaners - Outside - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Tampa, Florida

The point of a dry cleaner is convenience and the last thing I want to worry about is driving across town in the middle of a work day to pick up my items, or even worse waking up at 0800am on a Saturday to catch the dry cleaner before they close. Tide Cleaners has an automated machine and after hours drop off. Picture Blockbuster(for those who remember) for movie returns, but instead of a video you drop your clothes off in a mail slot. Once I registered, I set a pin can pick up my clothes at anytime using the kiosk. They do a good job, my only issues are: They are not the cheapest place for dry cleaning expect to pay more and there are cut off times to consider, if clothes are dropped off at a certain time it will take 2 days instead of 24 hours. read more

I understand first hand the low ratings for this place. I brought in a pair of white pants that I needed to take with me to an event. They were supposed to be back on Wed. and they weren't and I had to repack for that event. Then I came back the next week and they were back but they were light pink. I sent them back and they said they would be back in 2 days - I came back and guess what, not back. This was thursday - they said they would be back Friday. Sat I came back - still not back. I came in on Tuesday and again - they were pink and they said they would send them out again. i declined and said i would take them somewhere else - they said i wouldn't get any money back unless I left them. I am waiting to hear from the owner how they want to fix this situation but if its anything like what I have already experienced I am expecting nothing and i will never ever trust anything to them again - they don't deliver when they way they will and they damage things. read more

I'm inclined to drop a star due to their higher pricing structure but this is definitely the nicest dry cleaner I have ever used. The facility is modern and spotless. They have mechanisms for after hours drop off and pick up. I asked for light starch and actually got light starch. The other company I was using would deliver my shirts stuff as a board with the same instructions. All in all, the extra cost is probably justified to provide the modern facilities and convenience. I will def continue to use them as my new go to cleaners. read more

Wow! The service here is on point. I usually do curbside valet and I am greeted promptly with a smile. Class even greets me by name has has my order ready before I even ask for it. I wish other businesses had this kind of service. I give Class and Tide cleaners 10 stars! read more

I'm disappointed to have to write such a bad review. I took my wedding dress here for cleaning and preservation and genuinely wish I didn't. I gave them multiple opportunities to improve their customer service, however they continued to disappoint. You will find most dry cleaners send out wedding dresses for preservation with an expected turn around time of 6-8 weeks. This is what I was told up front and expected. Months later (with very poor communication) my wedding dress was back... DAMAGED. First of all the management pretended to not notice the obvious discoloration and rust of the beads on the dress. Thankfully the owner, Berry was willing to send it back to the preservation company to be fixed (after multiple phone call exchanges). He told me he would refund me and never did. Communication completely dropped from Tide from there. I left multiple messages with staff and the owner, without one single return call. I ended up communicating directly with the wedding dress preservation company (who was absolutely wonderful and professional) in fixing the dress. After 6 months, I finally have my dress which was fixed due to my persistence. Avoid the headache and stress and do not use this place. read more

They were a great service until I had an incident with a shirt that I had recently bought within six months. The collar had holes that look like it was caused by maybe the iron being a little too hot or something. I don't know what exactly caused it but it was a newer shirt And it didn't have any issues with it when I took it in. They wouldn't even meet me halfway on the cost of the shirt which was $80. I was only asking for $40 in credit to meet them halfway and they said no it was. read more

I have had trouble finding a dry cleaning place for the longest time in my ten plus years in Tampa. I have driven past Tide Cleaners while shopping at Sprouts and finally gave it a try this week. The employees were very upbeat and knowledge. They gave me 50% off as a new customer and encouraged me to use the 24/7 dry cleaning pickup automated system out front. Today I was able to try it out. I scanned the barcode from the email they sent me notifying me of the pickup being ready and it popped out my clothes. It was so convenient because I can pickup even outside of business hours. It took the headache out of dry cleaning in a smart and fun way. I highly recommend this place as it fits with my busy schedule and is a high quality service. read more

I was in town briefly and took a creased jacket in. When it came back, parts of it hadn't even been touched. I spoke with the owner and he offered my money back, said he was having employee troubles. Impressive, except he didn't do it. I've called twice and spoke to employees and asked him to call me. Nothing. Maybe he doesn't care because I don't live in town? Why offer to give the money back at all? I'm out 11 bucks for a jacket I had to do myself. Lots of less expensive dry cleaners around, I'd pass on Tide. read more

i have never left a yelp review. This is my first one. They do not clean their items. they charge you full price and they do not clean the items. After receiving dirty items back, they wouldn't refund my money. They only said they would send it out again. So I had to find another cleaner. I found zips down the street If I had looked here, I would have seen two stars and understood. I just saw tide and I trusted it. Don't Assume this. They don't clean the items. read more

The women who work here do not care about their customers experience at all. I dropped laundry off on Saturday and negotiated Wednesday as my pick up date. Wednesday comes and they're just starting my laundry. Demanded a refund and left with all my clothes in TRASH BAGS. Never again will I use tide cleaners or tide products if this is how they want to treat their customers. read more

My grandmother needed her dress to be pressed (MOTHER OF THE GROOM) and the wedding is tonight, my grandma just picked up her dress and there are visible spots that weren't there before. The General Manager Peter claimed they were already on the dress. It's a brand new dress, the spots were not there. My grandmother was so upset and cried. They didn't offer a refund or any resolution. The lady working there was very sweet and kind. Other than that do not come to Tide Cleaners. They ruined my grandmas dress for her sons wedding TONIGHT. Absolutely horrible. read more

While the convenience of a delivery service is compelling, repeatedly received dry cleaned clothing back with stains and in need of ironing. Culminated in new cashmere sweater being returned dry cleaned with a hole in it and Tide Cleaners stating they received it with the hole, as shown by video in their store when they tagged the sweater. Yet they do not have video of their delivery vehicles and are in possession of clothing from door to store with no accountability for what happens to garments during that process. Delivery is null and void when it creates wrinkles (no good for dry cleaning) and damages clothing. read more

$81 dollars to launder two ordinary sleeping bags. Nope. Never again. Ridiculous. Crazy. I should have asked before dropping them off but I could not of imagined $40+ to wash and tumble a sleeping bag. read more

Background, been in Tampa for two weeks on a business trip and have been extended for another week. Tide Cleaners offers wash and fold, so I thought great, and with 24 hour turn around. I head there this morning (Tuesday Oct 10th) around 10:30am and request wash and fold. I am told it will be ready after 5pm tomorrow (Wednesday) and there is a 10ths minimum. Need clean clothes so I am okay with the minimum and start filling out their form. As she puts my information into the system she tells me it'll be ready Friday - that is not what she first said. I question her on that and her response is Wash and gold takes two days and 24 hours is only dry clean. A little perplexing as Friday is over two days, so needless to say I did not use their service. Side note I mentioned this place to a colleague and she got there before me and was told "it might be ready by Friday evening". Recommend clearly stating on your website the actual turnaround times. This will prevent both customers and employees getting frustrated. read more

Expensive. Turn around time is never as advertised - add an extra day or two. Quality is a bit above average. This particular review is for an item that I called (during business hours) to follow up on after dropping it off two nights before after business hours. My call wasn't returned. I really wanted to make sure my coat could be done on time. I was sent a QR code that showed two items were ready (I only had one) and that didn't work. Disappointed since I won't have a coat to go up north with now. read more

Terrible experience. I took about 6 pieces to get dry cleaned. Some laundered some dry. I picked the bundle up and didn't pay attention to what I was being given. About 3 weeks later I noticed that I was missing a pair of pants I had taken. I know this because I do not unwrap the items until I wear them and that day I wanted to wear them. I checked EVERYWHERE, closet, car around the apartment, no where to be found. I called them and told them. Nothing they can do. They saw on their system I picked them up and that was it. I escalated to an assistant manager and she took my information down and said she would look at the cameras and call me. Nothing. No call, no acknowledgement nothing. They have lost my and my girlfriends business. If you for some reason decide to go there anyway, be SURE to look at your receipt and make sure it matches what you received otherwise you are screwed. read more

Mandy called me today to let me know their business hours might get modified due to corporate coronavirus policy (forthcoming) and so she recommends I come in sooner rather than later to pick up my items. Let that sink in... She dialed my phone number to give me a heads up. That's amazing customer service, and I'm just a first-time customer. Imagine the service the regulars receive all the time. I'm highly impressed with the staff at Tide Cleaners on Dale Mabry, next to Sprouts, in Tampa. read more

I took my mother of the groom dress in to be pressed on a Monday prior to 11:00. It was ready the following day, Tuesday, at 4:00. I picked it up and hung it in my closet never thinking to check to see if it was satisfactory. The following day, Wednesday, I took the plastic bag off and discovered several spots that were not there when I took it in for pressing. I immediately took it back to the cleaners that same day and showed the staff at the location. The staff members were very understanding and said they would send it out again as no services were done at that location. It was to be ready by 4:00 on Thursday. I went to the facility to pick it up promptly at 4:00 only to be told that it would not be back until 9:30-10:00 Friday morning - the day of the wedding!!!! Needless to say I was not at all happy. I called the General Manager, Peter and he me that there were more spots on the dress than two and he couldn't believe that the dress had never been worn as the spots had to have been on the dress prior to my bringing it in for pressing. He assured me that the material was easy to work with and they would get the spots out but would require some more time to so so. So, apparently, even though the dress was new and I had never worn it it somehow became my fault. He was not able to accommodate my wish to have it brought to the location that afternoon so I had to wait until the morning of my son's wedding to pick it up. Once again the staff member was very kind and called me the next morning to let me know the dress was in. I was back at the cleaners on Friday morning at 9:00 am. I took the bag off at the cleaners expecting to find my dress in excellent shape right? Not so, it was even worse than before with very visible spots in several places. The staff member there was aware of the failure to remedy the situation. I left there in tears. It was so bad I actually attempted to shop for a different dress that morning, but was unable to replace it at such short notice. The wedding was that evening. Fortunately, the style of the dress helped to hide some of the spots. I would absolutely never recommend Tide Cleaners in Tampa to anyone after the mess they made of my mother of the groom dress. And even worse the General Manager did not even offer to reimburse me for the charge. He placed all the blame on me. Don't go there! read more

I've used them a few times for clothes and everything was fine but when i brought in my silk comforter, things got ugly. I brought in the comforter because my dog had a pee accident on it but I've had it laundered before without issue. My first time bringing it here and when I picked it up IT WAS A DIFFERENT COLOR! All the silk material was now a beige color and they couldn't explain why. They tried again (allegedly) to make it right but the comforter was permanently damaged. I requested to speak to the manager and never received a call or email. I went back in to ask for an update and even brought one of the matching shams so you could see it was different colors now. Finally the manager calls me and says the owner refuses to reimburse me for the damage and says it's not their fault! I can't even buy this comforter anymore because it's not in stores! All I wanted was for them to reimburse me the cost of the comforter. The manager even warned me to "be calm" when I talk the owner otherwise I wouldn't get a good result. I have yet to hear from the owner and only have an email for him. Poor customer service. I'll never return. read more
