Everybody was happy with their order and the service and, before we left, it was proclaimed "A keeper." Besides one of my coworkers recommending this place, the mural out front that bears a striking resemblance to a Salvador Dali painting caught my eye. I figured since it was another boring Sunday morning why not give this place a try. When I went in I was given a blow away greeting. The waitress Lisa is great but when you have a cook that just walks out and leaves the customers waiting for their food so she can go and take a break is utterly ridiculous. As a regular I feel like our patronage is not appreciated. The waitresses suffer in the long run because the customer feels like they are not doing their job but actually it's the cook. Simply put, if you don't want to run the risk of getting sick stay out of this place. I went in with a group of buddies and sat at the counter. Sitting on an overturned milk crate were cases of eggs and margarine being stored at room temp. While I understand that the refrigeration of eggs isn't required, it is highly favorable to reduce salmonella risks. Needless to say I elected to not order anything. When one lady was working the hash browns on the grill, she was using her hands to directly touch the food after having touched numerous items around the kitchen.
