Excellent service, start to finish! Personalized drinks, Fresh delicious food, efficient valet service

Brunch with friends celebrating us. Reservations were done. We arrived on time, we were all looking forward to have scones as per advertised, we were disappointed to be told that they ran out of scones. Don't understand why if the reservations give a pretty good number of people expected. Downer While ordering drinks an one of us inquired about the Mimosa if there was another flavor to what the server answered no just orange, puzzled my friend asked again and with a condescending tone the server answered that Mimosas were made with oranges. There is a beauty when mixologists experiment and create Mimosas with other fruit, eg pears ... but we left it alone. We enjoyed our brunch. Thyme is a quaint eatery. Nice ambience not only for the decor but the location by the water. Now, one the main reason I will not return is because there are no restrooms on the first floor for handicapped patrons. The only bathroom is on the second loor with about 10 steps to climb.

Braised Short Rib Papardelle over Ratatouille & under Parmesan cheese as served

This time at Thyme I tried their Braised Short Ribs with Papardelle pasta served over Ratatouille (mixed veggies) and under Parmesan cheese. Very well made with a slight kick (of spice) in the ratatouille, great combination of flavor between the soft juicy plentiful meat (like boiled flanken or brisket), the long broad pasta, and fresh parmesan cheese. However, didn't enjoy what seemed like slightly stale small dinner rolls (one per person). Also, loved their decaf cappuchino. We arrived 6:00 PM on a Saturday night and for the next hour conversation with our friends was easy and it was less crowded. By seven, it not only got more crowded, but they also had a jazzy guitarist that only added to the noise. With tax & tip about $80 per person (including three appetizers and two mixed drinks for the 4 of us).

Lovely place for brunch. My eggs benedict was delicious, eggs perfectly poached. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and several plates were completely cleaned off . Menu offered large selection of brunch and lunch items. My mimosa was a bit weak but the Bloody Marys had a good amount of alcohol. The servers were friendly and attentive. Additional seating available on second floor.

Great food and ambiance. A really nice American restaurant that serves some of the most amazingly delicious foods in the area. We were blown away by the crispy calamari, which features a much thinner batter layer that had a nice and crispy crunch, more akin to Japanese tempura. The portion sizes were fairly large too, and the amount of meat in the braised short rib papardelle was amazing. The creamy texture of the meat blended very well with the fresh parpardelle. The seafood paella is certainly a must get, with the rice layer really soaking up the flavour of the mussels and clams that fill the plate to the brim in both quantity and flavour. The seared tuna bowl was good too, but nothing too special when compared to the other dishes. Service was very good, and the window seating provides a nice view of the lake nearby!

Great spot in Roslyn, LI. Overlooks a pond which is very scenic. Service and staff was great. The drinks and food here were delicious. I would go with any of the cocktails but my bloody mary was on point. Food was the standout. Burger was juicy and flavorful. The cob salad was fresh and satisfying. And the crab cakes were a great appetizer. Would definitely come back again. Great in a group or for date night.

Easter Brunch nothing impressive. Childrens menu for $32 a kid was embarrassing. Again nothing stood out for Party of 5. I was very disappointed.

Nice job! We sat upstairs (which was a little weird but ok) felt sorry for the staff! Like the menu, nice options. Staff were great! Nice presentation, food was great! Will go back !

They have a $31 brunch which includes one alcoholic (or non) drink. Certain item requires an up charge. Overall the portion were generous and the service really prompt, attentive and courteous.

They start you off with some warm buns served with honey butter and they were GOOD. So good that we asked for more and then tried to stop ourselves from devouring them before our food even arrived. For appetizer, we ordered the crispy calamari. The batter was very light and the calamari itself was so delicate and sweet. You can definitely tell how fresh the seafood is and that stayed true for the rest of our meal. For pastas, we got the spaghetti fra diavolo containing lobster and shrimp. Again, the seafood was fresh, sweet, and tender. The pasta was also a shocker, not only was it perfectly firm, it had such a nice chewy texture. You can feel and taste how homemade the pasta is. Next, the rigatoni eggplant was our unexpected favorite. The pasta texture was even better with the rigatoni shape and the eggplant was not even noticeable, it blended in so well with the sauce. The ricotta on top was the perfect creamy addition. For proteins, the pork chop was very tender and juicy. The sweet glaze wasn't overly sweet and it really complimented the savoriness of the meat. The brussel sprouts on this dish were also outstanding. I love when a restaurant doesn't treat the veggies as a side dish! The branzino was light and refreshing, it was a really great balance to the other saucier dishes we had. The service was extremely attentive and so friendly. They really took care of us and made sure we enjoyed our meal.

The chai creme brûlée was good, but the sugar wasn't torched properly and didn't have that snap, crackle or pop which is what it's supposed to have.
