I enjoy bowling and was pretty impressed with the place. I would usually go to the other bowling lane in Douglasville. This one is 2x's as entertaining. There were no attendees at the concession stand at first, but later when i came back there was a person there. Other than that. No complaints. I'll be back. They have great deals too. read more

Was invited here by a friend who was having a party for his little league team. It was a pretty large group, so we needed four lanes(2 for the kids and 2 for the adults). When we arrived, we had to pay upfront to bowl, which was ok. We paid for one game of bowling. By the 5th frame, the screen turned yellow and a message came across that said our game was about to end. We went to the central desk and was told that everybody had not paid for their game. We sent the people that had not prepaid to the desk to pay. Well, they reset our lane, so we had to start over. This time we made it to the 7th frame before it shut down again. We had had enough, so some of the parents and kids went to play laser tag. I would not recommend this place at this time. Maybe they will start charging per game instead of by the hour, especially when there is a large group of people. read more

This is the place to be if you live or work in Douglasville. It's a great, family friendly funcenter with activiies for kids of most ages. I would say 4 and up. There's the arcades, bowling and bumper cards and the food is outstanding CHEF FOX is a great addition to the place!! If you like a good drink the bar area isn't bad either. this spot is fun but the prices are wayyyy too high...! like extremely. i got one 10 pc lemon pepper wings and one 5 pc bbq wings and 2 sprites from the vending machine the price came up too $35.25! that's wayyy too much. the laser tag cost $7 but i got charged $10.05 . pls fix this issues. some of the staff have bad attitudes i've gone there multiple times but no other time has been this bad. 10 piece wings cost 15-19 dollars with and without fries but overall the place is fun but get yo stuff together. i'd like you to respectfully get yo stuff together or me and my family and friends may not be returning back. and the games are too expensive $2.00 for 1 game of basketball?!?? are you mad??? manager pls. read more

Came here to have some fun and bowl, we ordered a tower of beer, took almost 30 minutes to get us our beer. They said they had to change the keg out, mind you there was no one in the bar and no one in the lanes that had any beer...So I asked to talk to a manger to to see if we can order a pizza and get a discount, manager comes over and says "wait time on beer is wait time there is nothing I can do, we don't give discounts!" Now having manager experience I find hard to believe, having unhappy customers you should do anything to keep that customer happy! He didn't offer anything! Had a great time at karaoke on Wednesday. The food was great, and the service was great!

I 100% do not recommend ThunderZone in any shape form or fashion! We've been there a total of four times. The first three times the place was dirty. Service was mediocre at best. The kitchen made mistakes on everything! And it seem like the owners do not care! The last time me, my family in friends went the teenagers beside us pletely disrespected me my friends and MY WIFE! I ask management to have them leave the building. All they did was moved them down a couple of lanes and allowed them to continue to disrespect US with vulgar language and threatening tones! So we decided to leave as we're going out I asked management to have them leave! That it was not right that they are alone to stay. My reply was "Are you leaving if so then there's no reason to make them leave!" This bowling alley has had problems every single time we went there. The last time was completely shocking that need management lacked the incompetents to handle their shift including one of the owners Sons or nephew! Who was on the floor at the time! Instead of handling the situation they pretty much isolated themselves to the office! Me as a former manager/Business Owner would not ever tolerate such War hack of management skills and any of my managers and they would be terminated immediately. Came here with some work friends. This place is really fun! The bowling was awesome and everyone in my group had a great time hitting up the arcade afterwards. We didn't try the bumper cars or the laser tag. Facility is clean and modern. Your family will enjoy this place! read more

Very poor service. Birthday party room had a bad odor, my guest waited in the front lobby for over 15 minutes because they did not know where to go. The pizza crust was under cooked for all 3 pizzas. Not to mention the pizza did not come out until 30 minutes after the party started and not 15 minutes like advised. Two members of management were advised of the issue and Jaime has yet to contact me back after 4 calls. Spend your money some where else. read more

THERE WAS HAIR COOKED INTO OUR PIZZA! Brandy, manager on duty, refused to take the pizza off of our ticket. Stated, " You already consumed half the pizza". The table's ticket was over $100 combined WITHOUT the pizza. We asked them to at least take half off of the pizza (NOT THE ENTIRE TICKET) and they refused to accommodate us. Manager stated, " Yes, I saw the hair in it but you still have to pay for it." The reviews are TRUE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We will NEVER come back here again!!! Went here for a 6 year old birthday party and we (all of the parents) had just as much fun as the kids. The party started on time, the caterer came in to check on food which was elegantly displayed and tasted great along with the drinks (both soda and adult beverages) served perfectly cold. Today my wife was forced to pay the check for a meal she didn't order, and could not eat (based on her dietary requirements). The server and their manager were unapologetic, and willing to get police involved rather than take one item off the check. She ordered a veggie wrap, the only thing they offer that meets her needs, and they brought out a very different item. They offered to remake the item, but brought the exact same thing out, stating their truck didn't arrive and they were out of the spinach wrap, avocado, and sprouts. Rather than ask her, they made a different item from different ingredients and refused to take it off the check. The manager offered a 10% discount and a few free games of bowling, but still insisted she pay for the food which she did not eat a single bite of. She wanted to pay for the other food on the check which my daughter DID eat, or she would have walked out. She did the right thing, and is being punished by two people who apparently don't know the first thing about customer service. We will NEVER set foot in this establishment again. We have had numerous birthday parties here, for our kids/family and for friends' kids/families. We will make sure that they don't set foot in this dump again either. Enjoy my visit here with the family! Clean , neat, and food is good. But I had to change the rating. I have called several times to get information about prices and room booking. Finally got a hold to someone and she did not know too much information. I am thinking she is new. She put me on hold for about 10 minutes and I hung up and called back. I thought it was too lengthy in time. I spoke with another individual that gave me the information I need and request to email it to me! Bom I'm in!! After the emails I correspond back and forth for about twice regarding menu. I request a price for the food no response. I sent another email no response. If planning a going away party is that hard then I won't. I moved on! so two stars just because if the lack of over all customer service! Never drop the ball on your customers! My Grandson loves this place! But...it cost way too much for what you get! Laser Tag is $7.50 each for what maybe 10 minutes and the Bumper Cars is $5.50 each for maybe 10 minutes if that. We were there for almost an hour and spent almost a $100.00 and did not even eat. The past 2 times that we have been there, the place is almost empty...no one playing the games but us. If you need any assistance you have to hunt them down and does no one have fun at there jobs anymore! I think if you cut your prices, and added some friendly faces, more people would come and you could make twice as much money. read more

Do not join a league here. They do not keep to their promises for league bowlers, and have never treated leagues like they should. To a bowling alley, a league is a sure thing, they'll be there every week. That's why leagues get benefits, such as 6 free games a week. Well, it seems ThunderZone has found a loophole. To use your free games, you need a league card. Nobody on the league was given this card. I inquired about this card at the beginning of league, 10AM. End of league comes around, 12 O'clock. 2 hours, still no card. This is not all, just the most recent. This past school year, spring break rolls around. Leagues have to fight to even bowl. The center tried to stop the leagues from bowling with no warning. Which they did one s before. Bowlers showed up, 15-20 people, and were told that the league wasn't bowling that week. They don't care about their league bowlers, heck, they barely care about their normal bowlers. All they seem to actually care about is the amount of money they can make. read more

The bowling is good and reasonably priced and you can't go wrong with practically new rental shoes. However, I don't recommend eating here based on our experience tonight. We arrived around 6, order an appetizer around 6:15 at the bowling lanes, planning to order some entrees when our appetizer arrived. At 6:50 we had to flag down another waitress to find our waitress and 7 our appetizer arrived and at 7:10 we were finished bowling. Apparently, the printer did not print off our order, so the kitchen never started making it. Now I can understand technical problems, but what I don't understand is how our waitress (in a mostly empty bowling area) did not notice that she had not gotten our appetizer to us. As I said we had to flag down another waitress to find her for us. All we ordered was chips with chili con queso. Our waitress even told us it usually only takes 10 minutes, so why didn't she notice. Which is pretty much what I told the manager when we talked with him. He did take a percentage off, but only after arguing with me that it wasn't anyone's fault. Again I know technical difficulties happen, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to notice that your only table hasn't got their appetizer. And the 20% the manager took off after us waiting 45 minutes for a 10 minute order was not sufficient in my opinion. Then to add insult to injury the food was terrible. About half of the chips tasted stale, the queso was straight out of a can and bland as all get out. The chili was separate from the queso and really, really sweet almost like a dessert. Nasty! We will go back for the bowling and probably to try out the arcade which we didn't this time because we were starving and had to go elsewhere for food, but I don't plan on eating here again anytime soon. Hopefully next time we will have a better experience. read more
