    Mini Bowling Alley

I found Lakepoint Station through Groupon. I had no idea this place existed and the deal was too good to pass up for some summertime-rainy day family fun. The deal I purchased was three activities for four people, so my husband got to channel his inner kid with our daughters while I was their personal photographer, videographer and score keeper. Hands down the Clip n' Climb was everyone's favorite activity. We sat through a short safety video before getting harnesses on and getting to climb. Each group is given 30mins to climb as much as you can handle. My crew found the variety of climb options entertaining and challenging! Our second activity was mini bowling, which was quite underwhelming. Our third activity was nine holes of indoor blacklight putt putt, we liked but felt like 9 holes is really short. We had lots of fun at Lakepoint Station and will definitely make the 30min trek up from Marietta again.

What a gem! Can't believe I haven't been here before. My kids were invited for a birthday party. Started in a private room with pizza and cake for 45 minutes, then the adventure began. And boy was it an adventure and we didn't even scratch the surface of what thEy offered. Dodging lasers, rock climbing (absolute best), arcade, and bowling. Both my kids had so much fun and requested to have their birthday parties here, which never happens. Can't wait to come back and try all they have to offer.

    No time limits notated anywhere

Things started off well during our trip here, but ended poorly. My wife and I enjoyed playing putt-putt and glow in the dark putt-putt. We enjoyed some of the ice cream they have there. Lastly we moved to the climbing event. We got our token, and no communication from the staff that there is a time limit. Nothing on the posted signs that they have a time limit. We completed the safety video, and no mention of a time limit. My wife and I went out and had fun climbing but my wife was standing to climb one last station and the young lady stated that time was up and walked away. We both thought that was very poor communication skills, as well as poor customer service. When we brought it to the manager's attention, he did not instill me with confidence that he would actually do anything to rectify the issue.

Ridiculous to close host a business group and close early the weekend of a huge baseball tourney.

They have a decent variety of pinball machines. They also have classic arcade games. They offer a variety of beers and snack which is nice. They also have lots of seating and stools. Stools are great because you can play while you sit which is great. Now for the bad. If you're looking for a classic arcade feel this is not the place. It's so quiet! Really all we heard was the ambient music (80s-90s hair bands which I love) but not why I'm here. Classic arcades are filled with the sounds of the games. Sadly there was little of that. Many of the video games had volume so low we couldn't hear them at all. The ones we could we had to strain to hear it. Also the upkeep of the games was not great. The terminator gun didn't work well at all, QBert was down, The Simpsons was down, dig dug was down. Star Wars was a 1-up system you can buy at Walmart and worn out, terrible experience. Many of the joy sticks were in need of maintenance as well. The Neo-Geo was not a MVS but rather a poor emulator that had color problems and terrible video tearing plus awful audio. Let's talk about the pinball machines. Most were modern machines that are still available for purchase. I saw a couple older ones but there was no information provided about the age. Overall this just okay. Many of the machines are not taken care of and this really ruins the experience for gamers.

Flippin' Ladies Night was a blast. Amazing humans, great vibes, and enough pinball to activate my inner feral arcade goblin in the best way possible. Here's what I loved: you pay for time, not per game. Which means unlimited pinball + arcade chaos while sipping drinks from the bar, vibing to good music, and making new friends between flippers. It's basically a retro playground for grownups who still love buttons that go clack. The atmosphere is welcoming, fun, and delightfully unpretentious. One minute you're strangers, the next minute you're cheering each other on like you've been in a league together for years. I came in spontaneous... next time I might actually plan ahead because WOW. Also, firm believer in this life rule: if it's not a hell yes, it's a hell no. Well friends... this place is a HELL YES. 10/10 would wander in again. Bring friends. Make friends. Flip everything.

The site is an easy drive about an hour north of Atlanta, with plenty of free parking in a lot at the Visitor Center. The Visitor Center has restrooms and a small gift shop. The fee for adults to enter the 54-acre archeological site is only $6 per person. Built and occupied in three phases, from 1000-1550 CE, the prehistoric site is tranquil and calm. One can almost hear whispers of Native Americans as the breeze ripples through the tall grasses. There are three mounds (A, B, and C), that are accessible by wooden steps and hand rails. The mounds are well maintained and there were families picnicking on blankets at the summit of Mound A. Several picnic tables are also available near the river. The nature trail is tidy with signs educating the public on native woodland creatures and birds in the area. We saw many bluebirds and a couple Monarch butterflies lingering towards the end of fall. Definitely worth a peaceful morning or afternoon exploration and historical hike. The grounds are open 7am-5pm. Note: Plenty of dining options in Bartow County. We had brunch at the popular Doug's Place (about a 10 minute drive.)
