We popped in here one evening with some friends to check out what this House of Axe is all about…read more When you first walk in there is a counter set up where you can let them know what you'd like to do. So, for example they have about 8 or 10 lanes for throwing axes .... you'll need to sign a waver (watch some youtube videos and you'll understand why - but don't let that prevent you from going). Brief instruction and you're off and throwing. A few different techniques, two handed, one handed .... then it just get's more complex. The key - wrists have to stay straight, if they turn it'll put an angle on the axe blade and add a level of difficulty in getting it to stick. Once you're done chopping some wood, they have a few arcade games, pool tables, a basketball game - and a few other things. Kind of a fun way to spend a couple hours and a little bit different then all the other normal stuff around. If you're looking for something a little different, check these guys out. Good fun!

If you are looking for a fun night (or day!) out please check out Lagatha's. Axe throwing is a blast and the food was delicious! We played some pool too and will definitely check out the vintage arcade games next time we go. Plus the fact that they are BYOB makes it an affordable night on the town! 5++++ stars!!

There is no way they make money, but where else can you go play an arcade...in this town? This is here because the owner loves games and wants to preserve history. It's locally owned so if you want the more sanitized, corporate stores, there are plenty, but this place can do what it wants, and if you like trading around, that's a wonderful thing. This is literally what I do for myself for my birthday.

The few cabinets that did work, were flawed. The selection of games were limited, there were three shooter games, only two worked, majority of the games were clunky cabinets with sticky buttons, or stiff joysticks. The racing cabinets had bad steering wheels, where the slightest movement would throw you off track, or have you not move at all. I would not get the full day tier for ten dollars unless you genuinely believe that you could get more than three hours there. I personally barely got an hours worth of gameplay.

The highlights of the day were laser tag and go karts; next time I think I would also like to maybe check out the bowling. I love arcades in general so this is definitely a place I will be visiting again. Facilities: I wish they had more to offer for children under 4. As well as maybe just overall a larger arcade area. Also in laser tag they need to have it marked I actually tripped and fell when going up the ramp. Atmosphere: Definitely family friendly Crowd: Not overly crowded able to enjoy everything

Big-Time Entertainment has amazing staff, but the pricing and game quality are way too expensive…read more The cost per play is sky-high, and credits vanish fast on short, low-quality games. It's significantly more expensive than Dave & Buster's, which offers much better value and promotions. Compounding this, many games are constantly broken or malfunctioning, which is unacceptable at these premium rates. Even buying credits is frustrating; the kiosks only highlight rigid options like $10 for 80 credits instead of displaying a full, transparent price list so families can budget effectively. Management should introduce half-price Wednesdays and a summer season pass to provide better value. The best part is definitely the workers--they are incredibly kind and accommodating to guests with vision loss. However, placing the best prizes, like the big colorful balls, exclusively inside visual claw machines excludes blind students. They waste money on games they can't equitably play. Thanks to the staff's sided help, I was able to get one, but these items should be redeemable via tickets at the counter so everyone has a fair shot. The great staff deserves a venue with a fairer, more accessible pricing model.

Our manager paid for us to play 60 minutes. Before we went, we had to complete a waiver online and choose our game name. There were restrooms inside where you could change clothes (cause I heard if you are competitive, you would sweat a lot). They also have lockers - activated by a wrist key fob - so you could put your purse and keys somewhere safe. It's a dark area full of arcade rooms (maybe about 10 or 12 rooms in total). Each room has several games from which you can choose to play. Our group of 12 people were split into 3 teams of 4. The front desk attendant gave us all a wrist fob that we had to activate with our game account. The attendant explained how to play. Choose the game, all players scan their fob, then wait until the current team playing in the room exits before you go in. Scores are based on how well you do. If there is no one waiting outside the room after the game completes, you can move to the next level and continue playing. My team's first couple of games went so wrong and we questioned ourselves and our lives many times while playing. However, we got the hang of it and enjoyed ourselves so much! My favorite game was in the "Grid" room, where they called a color and the team had 5 seconds to get to a space with that color. So fun! If you are looking for a fun place to "be a kid again", this is the place to go!
