This place is a great place for people who want to do a lot but save money as well. They having bowling, rock climbing, and arcade room that is free play. They only have a few lanes and the arcade is small but it's worth the money. SN: They have a gym, basketball court, conference rooms, and a cafe. It is associated to the church across the street.

I went to this subway and got a sub and a drink. The girls working here were so rude and mean while they were making my sub and while they were making my sub they spit towards and on the sub meal they were making for me and continued to be mean. When I got to the cash register the girl mentioned yes we did put spit in your food. Honestly at this point I was just wanting the drink I paid for. They also did it to two other customers behind me until the 3rd customer. All I was wanting was good food. My receipt is attached, I would like a refund for the meal.

Nice conference and recreation facility open to the public. It has 5 eateries (2 cafes & 3 fast food/casual dining), gym, recording studio, conference rooms, basketball court & rock climbing, arcade room, and bowling. It's jam-packed right in front of Six Flags! The nondenominational church across the street owns it. It's like new; it's merely 5 years old. The staff in the internet cafe are lovely, senior women and amazing chefs -- they create the meals of the day. There's wifi available and rock climbing and games for teens available. You can host meetings, plays, and much more. It's pretty quiet and comfy here; I recommend joining the gym or walking laps above the court, there's no traffic to hold you back.

Excellent, we took our visiting family there for bowling and they had a blast. I am not a bowler per se but I enjoyed myself.

While I was using the Smith machine, another patron walked up, put his bag down, and when I told him I was using it and had two more sets left, he went and told a manager -- Omar. A few minutes later, Omar came all the way from the front of the gym to interrupt my workout and ask me how many sets I had left, apparently to "make sure everyone can use the equipment." What's strange is that there's another Smith machine right behind me that was also occupied, but Omar didn't ask that person anything. When I pointed that out, he said, "We don't have to do that." That made it clear he was only addressing me because someone complained. Then he told the other patron to "just hop on whenever she finishes her two sets." Not when I was done -- but specifically after two sets -- as if a manager can dictate when someone's allowed to use a machine they're already on. To me, that's completely unprofessional. Everyone in the gym pays the same monthly fee. If a machine is in use, you wait your turn -- that's basic gym etiquette. I don't expect special treatment, and I definitely don't expect a manager to interrupt my workout because someone didn't want to wait. If capacity is an issue, the gym should add more equipment. But targeting a member mid-workout to accommodate someone else isn't fair or respectful. The way Omar handled the situation showed a real lack of tact and impartiality. I've always believed gyms should be about mutual respect and shared space, but this experience really left a bad impression. Hopefully, LA Fitness takes this seriously and makes sure managers treat all members equally.

However, there are a few issues with this location, the equipment upkeep and the lack of equipment doesn't make sense for a gym this size and for what you pay. For example; in the entire gym there is but one dip machine...and the treadmills pretty much don't work. They are all walking speed even at 7 and above. Except for the four incline ones at the end for now... The equipment isn't maintained well so you run into a few broken or on the verge of breaking ones. Now it's not on the level of LA Fitness but it's giving LA Fitness energy, not that LA Fitness isn't a decent gym just not my cup of tea (if you know, you know). Lastly please for the love of love, put ESPN on at least 3 of the ten thousand TVs in there, you can watch but some much of the OneLife channel. I'd even settle for the fishing channel. All that said, the energy in the gym is nice, I always see the same trainers putting in work, and again location location ‍.

It was recommended by a neighbor and I've been coming consistently for a year now. I can't say…read moreenough about the polite staff and especially their cleaning crew but the rules that are posted EVERYWHERE are never enforced! No one puts any of their equipment away, no one cleans their equipment with the wipes that are provided, and you can't walk from one side of the gym to the other without being in someone's way who is filming! I've never seen any of the staff make any attempt to remedy the situations either. I am always having to unload equipment before I use it and people walk away right in front of you and say "I am done" or It's all yours" and make no attempt to clean their sweat and germs of the equipment. I travel a little bit and frequent other gyms and I've never seen the level of disrespect members have for themselves and others at the Douglasville location. I can't speak for their other locations but come on management, you guys have to have a way to approach this situation right? I am now having to purchase my own equipment ( barbell locks, cable handles, and neck pads, just to save myself the time of wandering around the gym trying to find stuff.
