Gym

This place is a great place for people who want to do a lot but save money as well. They having bowling, rock climbing, and arcade room that is free play. They only have a few lanes and the arcade is small but it's worth the money. SN: They have a gym, basketball court, conference rooms, and a cafe. It is associated to the church across the street.

My receipt.

I went to this subway and got a sub and a drink. The girls working here were so rude and mean while they were making my sub and while they were making my sub they spit towards and on the sub meal they were making for me and continued to be mean. When I got to the cash register the girl mentioned yes we did put spit in your food. Honestly at this point I was just wanting the drink I paid for. They also did it to two other customers behind me until the 3rd customer. All I was wanting was good food. My receipt is attached, I would like a refund for the meal.

Mmm, amazing gumbo & jalapeño muffin

Nice conference and recreation facility open to the public. It has 5 eateries (2 cafes & 3 fast food/casual dining), gym, recording studio, conference rooms, basketball court & rock climbing, arcade room, and bowling. It's jam-packed right in front of Six Flags! The nondenominational church across the street owns it. It's like new; it's merely 5 years old. The staff in the internet cafe are lovely, senior women and amazing chefs -- they create the meals of the day. There's wifi available and rock climbing and games for teens available. You can host meetings, plays, and much more. It's pretty quiet and comfy here; I recommend joining the gym or walking laps above the court, there's no traffic to hold you back.

Excellent, we took our visiting family there for bowling and they had a blast. I am not a bowler per se but I enjoyed myself.

I've never experienced anything like what happened at the LA Fitness in Austell yesterday…read more(11/10/2025). While I was using the Smith machine, another patron walked up, put his bag down, and when I told him I was using it and had two more sets left, he went and told a manager -- Omar. A few minutes later, Omar came all the way from the front of the gym to interrupt my workout and ask me how many sets I had left, apparently to "make sure everyone can use the equipment." What's strange is that there's another Smith machine right behind me that was also occupied, but Omar didn't ask that person anything. When I pointed that out, he said, "We don't have to do that." That made it clear he was only addressing me because someone complained. Then he told the other patron to "just hop on whenever she finishes her two sets." Not when I was done -- but specifically after two sets -- as if a manager can dictate when someone's allowed to use a machine they're already on. To me, that's completely unprofessional. Everyone in the gym pays the same monthly fee. If a machine is in use, you wait your turn -- that's basic gym etiquette. I don't expect special treatment, and I definitely don't expect a manager to interrupt my workout because someone didn't want to wait. If capacity is an issue, the gym should add more equipment. But targeting a member mid-workout to accommodate someone else isn't fair or respectful. The way Omar handled the situation showed a real lack of tact and impartiality. I've always believed gyms should be about mutual respect and shared space, but this experience really left a bad impression. Hopefully, LA Fitness takes this seriously and makes sure managers treat all members equally.

This gym puts in no effort to provide its member with a quality experience. At this moment just…read morefrom the few machines around me at least 3 have signs that they will be serviced soon and have been like that the last 3 weeks, the elliptical machines all have visible signs of rust and most have broken water holders as well as screens do not work, there is no upgrade to the gym itself, the restrooms are rarely stocked with essentials like soap & toilet paper, paper towels, carpet is old and on top of all that the pictures on the wall do not depict 1 black person. I guess they don't work out . Do better.

I've been coming here for some time due to the location it is convenient, it's not Dunwoody or…read moreAustell, but the size of the gym to me... is'nt bad. However, there are a few issues with this location, the equipment upkeep and the lack of equipment doesn't make sense for a gym this size and for what you pay. For example; in the entire gym there is but one dip machine...and the treadmills pretty much don't work. They are all walking speed even at 7 and above. Except for the four incline ones at the end for now... The equipment isn't maintained well so you run into a few broken or on the verge of breaking ones. Now it's not on the level of LA Fitness but it's giving LA Fitness energy, not that LA Fitness isn't a decent gym just not my cup of tea (if you know, you know). Lastly please for the love of love, put ESPN on at least 3 of the ten thousand TVs in there, you can watch but some much of the OneLife channel. I'd even settle for the fishing channel. All that said, the energy in the gym is nice, I always see the same trainers putting in work, and again location location ‍.

When I tried to cancel, they demanded a fee or documentation to explain why I no longer wanted to give them money. What kind of gym requires you to justify ending a service you barely use? Just look at the attached screenshot. Equipment is aging, no upgrades, and the overall quality has declined while fees stay high. This company banks on people forgetting, giving up, or accepting the hassle. I've filed complaints with the FTC and Attorney General. Don't sign up unless you're ready to fight your way out. You've been warned.
