First rage room I've ever visited. At first site of the building I was confused and upon entering I was even more confused. I was confused because Lock City Adventures was advertised as this fun gaming place with axe throwing, board games, VR game sets and more. However, the interior looked more like an old storage facility that wasn't well taken care of. The board games were literally three games: Jumbo Jenga, worn out deck of UNO cards and jumbo Connect Four. The young lady that assisted us was sweet, and she was working solo so it took her some time to clean the used rooms and turn them over for the next group. The rage room itself, did what it was supposed to do. It offered a safe space to let out some aggression and zone out. I love that they have a Bluetooth speaker in each room and you can play your own music. The package I purchased came with one large item. We were given a windshield. I liked the variety of tools to use to destroy things, and the powder bombs were a nice touch. Many have mentioned that it's overpriced. I am sure the price to acquire and constantly replace items isn't cheap. So I cut them slack on that. My largest concern is the cleanliness of the jumpsuits and helmets. They did not appear to be replaced or disinfected between customers. Besides that, we enjoyed our experience and may do a rage room again someday, but will definitely not visit Lock City Adventures for gaming. read more

My friends and I came here to celebrate a birthday. It was 6 of us for $200 total ($33 each). Our session was a total of 45 minutes, which didn't feel long. You have to purchase a package of breakables and then buy more if you need to smash more - which, promise me, you will. Each size category of breakables increases in price. The room itself was cozy and the staff members were super helpful when teaching us the rules. I love that they have a band aid kit on the wall! My only gripes were that with a large group, the breakables run out pretty quickly. We did spent quite a bit of time destroying a windshield, but with that the impact was less explosive. The safety helmets in our room were also unstable and were kept falling down my face. They have other games like Uno, Jenga, and Connect 4 in the lobby area when you're waiting for a room to open up or after your session which is great! read more

I wanted to take my best friend to a rage room for her birthday and we had the BEST experience at Rekt in Carrollton. Brendan checked us in and he was great! We had to sign waivers and pre pay with a deposit online and he too the remainder at the time of check in. We did the Smash Hulk package that had the most items to break. Our room was setup already with jumpsuits, gloves, and safety helmet and shields for us to wear alongside all the items to smash and the items used to smash with. Brendan explained the rules to us and also showed us the assistance button if we needed anything. You can hook up your own music via blue tooth to get the momentum going. There is also a a safety wall with a plexi barrier so you can stand behind while one person is smashing items and still watch or take pics. You can also add more items for a price if you want to hit certain things and needs more. After we were done we hit the assistance button and someone stopped in and took pics of us. It was a great experience. Parking in a gravel lot and clean bathrooms as well. I would definitely go again! read more

This place is a joke!!! If there was a -5 star it's what I would choose! You can literally do better in your back yard with $10 from crap at a yard sale and have more fun!! Place was nasty! Staff was awful! The lady who walked us in was literally screaming when she spoke and let's not even get started on any kind of safety!!! This place was not in no way worth the price that was paid!! My first experience at a rage room, so nothing to compare to, but wildly overpriced. The good begins and ends with the staff being very welcoming and friendly. I spent nearly $150 for me and my two sons. We reserved the tornado room, (base fee $100) which included: 30 Glass Items, 10 Medium Items, and 2 Small Electronic Items. I added 10 more breakable items and two powder bombs ($10/each, the "fancy" ones). You also pay extra for each additional participant. We arrived 5 mins early and waited for the room to be cleared. We started about 10 mins late. Both sets of gloves provided (which are required) had holes in them - they were more gardening gloves than construction gloves. The helmets/face shields (also required) had not been cleaned, therefore they were 1. difficult to see through and 2. unsanitary. I asked for cleaning supplies and cleaned myself. We had around 50 items to break. Taking our time and swapping places, we were finished in 25 mins. Only one of the powder bombs actually exploded, so I asked for a replacement and was told "that's the nature of powder bombs". For $10/each, I expect them to work. Boys had a good time, but for the price, so not worth it. PS It's loud in there with the hitting and breaking. They need to have earplugs or headphones available. I had to plug my ears. Ironically, the speaker in the room doesn't get anywhere near loud enough to "rage" to. Overall Extremely Disappointing and $$$ read more

While we enjoyed our time in the rage room, this place is defiantly overpriced. It's also unorganized and a mess- don't expect gear to be clean between customers or soap in the bathroom. Just take your chances. Lobby is full of boxes and stacks of wood. I had to ask our host several times about things we were missing from our overpriced birthday package and then had to wait an extra 20 min at the end of our time because our pizza and soda were given to another family while we were in the rage room. It does feel awesome to take a bat to a windshield, but Just don't think the experience was worth the $250+. read more
