I was able to get a nice workout in while he practiced and I loved that it wasn't super crowded. Yeah, it was a Friday so maybe that had something to do with it. The gym, or wellness center as it's known here, has plenty of cardio and weightlifting equipment, and there's several classrooms for group fitness classes and a room for cycling. It's safe to say that being s memeber here has its benefits. The staff are awesome and are readily available to answer any questions you may have. Everyone I've come in contact with has been friendly and the people that work here seem to really enjoy what they do. There's also a play center for kids to go to while you workout so there's no excuse to get moving! The space is clean and big enough to where you don't feel suffocated by others in the gym. They also have a fancy pool if you feel like practicing your butterfly. Need a place to workout???? Come to the YMCA!

Albeit a bit cramped still gets the job done. If you're trying to play basketball you're golden except the schedule is never correct. Expect to drive up there only to be told you can't go in to hoop. And they will push you out if you're already in the gym. Not a professional way to handle things here.

Our family had a horrible experience at La Petite Academy of Tyrone!!! The staff exemplified…read moreincompetence...our child was in the Early Pre-School class with Meesha, who lacked classroom management training, but mastered lying. When addressing issues we witnessed on the cameras she would lie and deny and run to Julia (Asst. Director) who is also her roommate and they would deny and cover for each other. In the meantime, we constantly asked when a teaching module would be put in place and were constantly told by the director, Dakesha that the first month was for observation...he was there from August until July of this year and we received not one formal evaluation of any sort. Once during a meeting with them we were given an print out of another child's evaluation. Often told that so many things were against the law...giving another child's information should definitely be against the law. There are far too many incidents to name here, but one in particular where a student that threw chairs and furniture every day hit our child in the face with a basket with metal rods and Meesha failed to write an incident report...another day she claimed a shelf fell on him...no incident report written (Where and why would shelves fall in a daycare setting?) One day while taking lunch to our child, he was met outside because they were having a fire drill and he was with Dakesha only to be told that there was an "incident" but he was okay. No incident report written. There was an intervention meeting held and even after an intervention it was determined that she needed more training... the final straw was two weeks ago. A new man was placed in a classroom being trained under Meesha who still needs to be trained and when we had questions about his nervous energy and observing him we were told that we made him nervous vs. the acknowledgement of requesting that he not be left with our child without another teacher present...he was seen on camera grabbing him...when the whole year no one has grabbed him, as is their policy and should not happen. We were also told that they cannot "make" students do anything...so grabbing him should never have happened. These folks tried to make us feel as if what was seen on camera didn't happen. Every time we observed and brought anything to their attention....it didn't matter. The game is lie and deny. A full year of paying $285 weekly for him to learn how to jump on furniture, become aggressive, and taught NOTHING. If we were not working with him at home he would know nothing. We basically paid for him to have untrained babysitters. So, if you just want babysitters La Petite of Tyrone is the place to go. THE CAMERAS DO NOT MATTER. THEY WILL LIE AND DENY ANYTHING YOU QUESTION. If you want a structured, safe environment with competent staff...run far away! Oh we stopped by to get his records, and were told, there is NOTHING in his files...exactly! He was never taught nor evaluated all year long. There is soooooooo much more I can write, but I will digress.

The parking was great and the tour of the studio was really cool to see and learn about the process. Then we got a ton of hands on time with the pottery, about an hour and a half, and then we got to pick from a wide selection of glazes which the artists will apply and then in about 6 weeks we will be able to pick up the pottery. I was blown away by the price of the class. I received it as a gift, but when I learned that it was only $65 per person for a 2 hour class and 2 pieces of pottery I was shocked. I'd highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

We turned right off the bumpy road that led us there and noticed their sizable parking lot. We found a spot quickly, snapped a couple of pictures and entered. There was really no direction or guidance when we got inside so we were hovering around for a few minutes. Then I noticed a check in desk at the far end. There was a couple ahead of us so we waited for a few seconds and then approached the counter. We advised that we were scheduled for the 5 PM class. The staff checked us in, pointed us in the right direction, and also informed us that we could roam around and check out their gallery before our class started, since we were a little early. I would say initially there were a bunch of people milling around. I was not sure if they were staff members or other patrons, but we did not initially get a very welcoming feel. Not a lot of eye contact or warm smiles. We roamed around checking the gallery until our class started. We approached the training area as it got close to our scheduled start time. Our instructor. Zoe greeted us warmly and told us she would get things started soon. Before class, she conducted an official tour that led us around the whole property. She clearly explained how the whole process would flow. Then she did a full demo before we even started. She led us through the process, and we were able to create three different creations, but she let us know that we were only able to keep two. Zoe was a star; very informative, patient and knowledgeable about the whole process. She expertly stepped in and helped us whenever we had questions. We washed up, picked out final colors for our creations and checked out. She advised that it would take 6 to 8 weeks for the whole creation to be baked and ready for pick up. For some reason, I thought we would be able to take our creations with us that day. Overall, we really enjoyed our first time at Mudfire.

And they had WiFi so I could work while they played?? Sold! Parking was easy. They don't share their lot with any other business. The space is a decent size , with bounce houses and air hockey. The staff was younger, and not really engaged. Similar to what other Yelpers reported, but that wasn't a big deal since I wasn't hosting a party and I honestly didn't need anything besides the WiFi password. They had a space to order food even though I didn't see anyone there and their bathrooms were pretty clean. Overall, my nephews had fun and it's an option to consider if I need to do something last minute and inexpensive.

My toddler isn't quite 2 yet and took a bit to warm up to this space even though we came on a weekday morning with what seemed like mostly nannies and kids. Not too busy but the inflatables were a bit intimidating for my little one and then she eventually warmed up. There's an infant area too but I would have loved to see some pretend play like a toy kitchen. It's a really affordable play area though and there's no limit to how long you can stay, so you can eat there and I even saw massage chairs haha
