Judith was working at the ticket station and was kind enough to help us understand how to combine the leftovers and make one master card to hold all the tickets. We also were advised to hold onto the empty ones so they could be refilled when family come back to Cumming for Thanksgiving weekend! Walking over to the bowling desk, Carl was helpful in getting us set up and grabbing a lane that we wanted, close to the wall. Lance 1 was out of order, so we got a couple games in on lane 2. With two people it was very affordable, instead of paying by the hour for cosmic bowling. Less than $30 which is a great deal. Afterwards, we decided to play the Marvel coin and card game that my brother and I started in May. We spent the good part of an hour just trying to collect the missing cards for sets that we could get. Both my friend and I sat there for about 75 minutes. One machine went down twice, but Nate came over and made some adjustments and we were able to continue without losing credits or time. Nate knew what he was doing since both times we were back and playing within a couple minutes. As we were in a rush to get going for our dinner plans, we walked back to the counter and Andrew explained how to redeem full sets of the (9 total per set) Marvel cards for 3,000 tickets. Individually the cards are worth 50 tickets each. Andrew was patient and explained our options as well, in order for us to know the best way to set up my nieces and nephew the next time we come back to bowl and play games together as a family. Thanks to the team here for making sure my friend and I had a great time. It was a Monday afternoon and there was a deal Judith told us about after 4 PM. So we had a great time. First we walk in an hour after opening on a Sunday, place was empty.......we walk right up to the counter and I tell the girl that I had looked the pricing up online and I knew I wanted to do the 3 race, game card, and k1 membership pass for 3 boys. She gave me a blank stare and then said oh you mean 2 race. Ok. Rude. But ok yeah that. She proceeds to ask the boys had they ever been there before. 1 of my sons friends says yes. So she goes you need to go check him on the computer with a waiver first because he has a membership so you won't pay for that part for him. Here I am thinking oh she is being helpful after being wrong. I smile. We go to computers do the waiver for 1 boy as instructed. We go back to the counter now 2 more groups have come in. We have to wait behind 1 group now since there is only one cashier/check in person although there were at least 5 other staff in the building including a manager. Anyway after we wait for that group to check in. I step back to the counter and THEN she proceeds to tell me oh you didn't do the waiver for the other two. I'm like you told me to do it only for the one that had been here before. So again we step out of line and go BACK to the computers. At this time I'm starting to get annoyed. By this time more people are coming in, so now my boys will have to wait behind several big groups when we arrived before ALL of these people. When I finally get back to the counter.....all boys are checked in. She got RUDE again. And wanted to loudly explain pricing to me and make sure I knew that the boys only got a $10 game card for what I was about to pay. Like VERY loud. I didn't hear her do this with any of the other groups that checked in before us and I hate to say this.......none of them were my complexion. Never once was I rude or matching her volume or tone. We actually walked in that place happy because we were supposed to be celebrating. Well anyway it didn't stop there. Once we got checked no instructions were given on what to do next outside of the girl at the counter giving me my receipt and their game cards. So my boys walked over to where you line up to go on the track and yet another employee was RUDE to them by telling them to back away from the gate and wait for someone to call them. They are EXCITED to be here Jeesh, so then after she yells at them they come over to me saying they not going to let her ruin the joy. They finally get called to race and all the boys are overwhelmed after the employees stopped the cars several time or slowed their speed down all during the race. Then in between their first and second race we went to their "arcade" which only has 12 games......which none of them are less than 40 credits for 1 game. $10 gets you 200 in credits. While one of the boys was in the process of playing a game they got called back for their 2nd race. It was EVEN worse than the first one. We decided to opt out of trying their food and went somewhere else to grab lunch. 0 stars would not recommend.

When you purchase 20 tokens you get 3 free. Another deal was 10 tokens get 1 free. Out of all our 23 tokens we got 4 toys. The more you purchase the more the perks got better. They also have a system where you could swap out the toys for other items behind the counter. I will say there was a few times where we had it, but when the claw carried the toy up to the top, the claw shakes hard and drops the toy. There were at least 20-30 machines. Spread out and plenty of space. The toy options were very cute. I loved that there were a lot of keychain toys. We won a jujitsu kaisen (itadori) keychain, fuzzy egg toast key chain, a cute cat, and fluffy cloud bag (my favorite). All looked well made. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable. I walked in with some pretty classic stereotypes about Chuck E. Cheese: mostly involving a mess of food, sticky floors, and suspiciously germy walls. I mean, what's a childhood without exposure to some sort of questionable bacteria, right? But shockingly, it wasn't nearly as chaotic as I imagined. It was actually... clean. Tidy even. Now, when you walk in, you've got two options for play: time-based or per-game. If you're smart, you go with the time-based option. Unlimited game plays for a specific time because if you're here for any reason other than to play endless arcade games and waste your kids' energy, are you even really at Chuck E. Cheese? Plus, you get a one-time "pause" when you need to eat, which is a nice move. Speaking of food, let's talk about the pizza. Cheese. Don't even think about trying to sneak in there unless you've made a reservation. All in all, I think Chuck E. Cheese is a pretty solid choice for kids ages 5 and up. It's a great birthday party venue or a place to let your kids burn off all that excess energy. Just don't expect much in the way of quality food or profound life experiences.
