This was at their wrestling event that I had a lot of fun at

I love to tell her everybody about this great place in San Francisco. That is the most best place for entertainment in San Francisco. Highly recommend it for their events. They're doing this summer in the spring and definitely. I've had some great memories there for the holidays and Christmas and the wrestling event and definitely recommend everybody to come check it out.

Really nice place to walk around. This is same location as Chase center. There are warriors shop where you can by worrior and I believe Valkyries merchandises, many restaurants and it is very clean. We came here after breakfast and walk around the area. I like where you can see bay bridge on the distance and it is very nice place to take picture and hang around. The restroom is also clean. They really maintain it well. To park, it might be a bit challenging as this place is popular and find parking close by take sometimes.

We are here today for the Valkyries game. It's such a beautiful day to be out here. There are lots of places to eat. And the warriors shop is there if you need gear.

Great community gathering and event space located conveniently off of a Muni line! Your event ticket is also your Muni ticket and we love free transportation. Security is nice and they always let me park my bike inside, though I feel like it'd be safe to park outside too. Lots of cyclists because this is a bike-friendly location and SF Bike Coalition sometimes provides a free bike valet. Thrive City has a farmer's market, pop-ups, live music, watch parties, celebrities, and so many good restaurants ( Dumpling Time, Gott's, Che Fico, Kayah by Burma Love, Baked Bear, Señor Sisig, Philz, Harmonic Brewing with fire empanadas, Cupcakin' bake shop, and more...so many good options.) I've come here before concerts (a la Olivia Rodrigo) when there were activations for the artist, for the NBA All-Star Game festivities, for the WNBA Draft Watch Party, and more. It's clean and big and there's a clean public bathroom too.

NBA All Star Weekend (Feb 2025)

Came by during NBA All Star Weekend, and it was the first time I actually took the time to explore Thrive City while not rushing to a game or concert at Chase Center. Security was quick and easy in the early afternoon, especially cuz they had a line dedicated to visitors without bags. Definitely a lively atmosphere in the plaza during this special event, the crowd growing later in the afternoon and evening. Luckily, eateries came prepared. I grabbed a late lunch from Gott's Roadside, and even though the place was packed, the waits were reasonable and I had a positive dine-in experience. The Misalignment Museum hosted a family fun zone, specifically for this nba all-star event, just around the corner from where the actual museum is yet to officially open. They offered free admission and special hours this past Saturday (open till 9pm). Lots of AI powered games mainly for kids including hoops, tennis, soccer, martial arts, and dance. Celebrity guests included Tim Hardaway, Kevon Looney, and Jeremy Lin. But I was more excited to see Juan Toscano-Anderson from the Warriors 2022 championship team (I'm a fan, so this was cool). There are several different bars on site as well, to grab and drink, including Harmonic Brewing, Splash, and Siren Cafe and Bar, with of course plenty of TV's to catch the action happening inside the Chase Center, particularly the All Star Saturday Night events during my recent visit (skills challenge, 3-point shooting contest, dunk contest). Lots of energy all around. Everything inside and surrounding the venue is modern and pricey. So although they had cool stuff for nba all-star weekend, it's not exactly the best value on non-event days. Plus, there are no benches or seating in the plaza, unless you visit the eateries or businesses, so it's designed for people to spend money. And with parking and rideshare costs just to get here, it can definitely add up.

Arrived at 5:30 and was surprised when I saw a small but decent amount of folks here. When I approached the bar and got my first drink, I understood why folks were there so early....the drinks were a buck! Such a steal and great way to get folks in. The concept of battle of the decades is great too! Each hour is a different decade of music, starting with the 60's. I spent a few hours dancing from 60's-80's music until about 8pm (perfect for an old millennial like me) until the place filled up. Totally great night at Monroe. Cheap drink specials, great music, and I was able to get in bed by 8:30pm. I'll definitely be back again.

Located on Broadway in North Beach, it's always high energy and popping, but I've never had any issues getting in. Also love that there's no cover charge for women, so I can just enjoy the night with my friends here without having to pay the equivalent price of a drink before I've even stepped inside. Even with the club frequently packed, especially the later in the night you go, I find the facilities pretty clean compared to many other similar lounges. It's also conveniently located near late night pizza and crêpe eateries that are still open after Monroe closes for the win, which makes it an all-around no brainer to choose going here versus other venues.

The building was a printing press back in the day, so it's a bit of a maze but that's part of the charm. I've discovered some amazing local businesses. I recently went to their February artisan food fairs, and bought some delicious food products. They had a variety of food vendors: hot sauces, honey, dips, cookies, teas, and more. As for the craft fairs, respect jewelry, candles, cutting boards, and even a few food vendors. That's where I discovered Apisol, a woman-owned company based in the Peninsula that makes delicious sparkling honey beverages. Don't miss the vintage store on the first floor, which has really unique vintage products like postcards, buttons, posters, and more. I never heard of this place until a fellow Yelper brought this up to me and I said SFBox? I never heard or been in this location before and I am sure most of you never heard of this place either unless you search for history of the William Randolph Hearst printing press building so many years ago. The building was built in 1926 as a printing plant for the San Francisco Examiner. It is a nice mixed use building like a nice cozy maze to explore the nice layout and architecture of the old print shop. So upstairs about 2 floors and vendors are scattered so it's like a hunt for them, almost like a needle in haystack. Lol Well it's not that hard as you won't miss anyone. Too floor that where you will satisfy your sweet tooth . Yummy. The vendors that were there were a nice mix from tea, cheese, spices, India coffee , Turkish spreads, ice cream, giant cookies, healthy drinks, spreads, and I am sure you will find something you will enjoy. I don't normally buy stuff, but the honey , red beet, 2004 sweet land Bingdao $95 brick tea that is aged 21 years that can make 175 tea servings for $95, Il Fiorello basalmic vinegar was thick and smooth great texture and syrupy taste very captivating and Taste of Levant tahini and their chocolate jar of molasses was excellent and I had to buy them. Yummy in my tummy! Not sure if same vendors will be there again, so catch them the at your farmers market, festivals or next Eats event!

It was really nice to see the sunlight come through on the daytime with the open roof concept. The music was a lovely experience as well. I really enjoyed it. Given how packed it was, I stood the entire time, even though I had gotten there probably 15 minutes before the show started. There was a huge line for the coffee when I arrived that didn't let up until halfway through the show. They are doing this again in September and I would recommend if you are in the area. The only thing that would have made it better would have been less people given the amount of chatter and distraction of people walking by. I'm curious as to what this venue looks like in other set ups and at different times of the day because it is beautiful, what a nice spot in San Francisco.

A Lifesaver for Our Wedding -- Exceptional Service and Stunning Space!…read more If I could give Carlos and Marigold more than five stars, I would. We were scheduled to have a small outdoor wedding ceremony at Mission Dolores Park, but when the San Francisco weather forecast turned "rough" just days before our April 1st date, we were in a total panic. I reached out to Carlos at the last minute, and the level of service we received was nothing short of extraordinary. Here is why you should book your next event here: Incredible Responsiveness: Carlos responded to my inquiry almost immediately and hopped on a call with me the same day to iron out the details. He made a high-stress situation feel completely manageable. Accommodating & Flexible: Even with our last-minute request, he was so generous with the timing. He allowed us to come in early at 2:00 PM to set up flowers and told us there was "no rush" to leave, letting our group stay and enjoy a drink before our dinner reservation. The Space is Stunning: We held our ceremony upstairs in a beautiful, dry, and welcoming space featuring a gorgeous mural. It was the perfect backdrop for our 10-person group--intimate, stylish, and full of character. Personal Touch: Carlos even provided his personal cell number for day-of coordination to ensure everything went smoothly. That level of care is rare. Carlos, thank you for your kindness and for helping us make our wedding ceremony so special. You lifted a huge weight off our shoulders, and we can't recommend Marigold enough!
