Puac Tailor Shop

(70 reviews)

Puac Tailor Shop has become my go to for alterations. I found them, walked in, and right away liked…read morethe vibe, good music playing and a team of tailors who are positive and genuinely helpful. More importantly, the work itself is great. The price is fair, and it can add up when you have a lot done at once, but that comes with the territory. I have not seen mediocre work from them yet, everything comes out exactly how you want it. I will keep coming back and giving them my business for any alterations. Thank you.

I found this tailor shop through Yelp, and I'm here to report that they do an excellent job. I…read moretypically mend my own clothes, and I can tell you that their craftsmanship is phenomenal. I've had this leather jacket for almost ten years, but in the past two three years, it's gotten a bit too tight. To be fair, I got it during the era of the shrunken leather jacket, iykyk. I brought it to Puac. They told me that they don't have the fabric for it, and gave me direction to this fabric store downtown. I thought, well, I'm in this for the plot, and went where they told me. This let me know that Puac knows exactly what to look for. The fabric store was great, and when I told them who sent me, they gave me a 15% discount off the leather. When I brought the leather in, there was a week and a half turn around. They measured it out, and gave me an idea of how it would fit. I would say that you do pay for the quality of their work. It cost me about a hundred dollars for the tailoring alone, which I thought was absolutely worth it. The leather was $68. This is a jacket that I will continue to wear for a very very long time. I know that this tailor shop can do generally alterations, but I would trust them with more complex alterations and trickier fabrics to work with.
