Every year that we visit St Simons, we make it a point to come here! We usually eat here several mornings during our stay. You can come here in a rush, you will still get wonderful service! This is a combination restaurant, store, bakery and premade takeout place. Amazing. I came for a late breakfast/ lunch. I was seated right away and my order was taken quickly. I decided on a grits bowl . I was shocked at ghe size of the bowl when it was delivered a short while later. Huge is an understatement. The grits were well done, the bacon plentiful and lots of cheese. I could only finish about half of it. Really nice dish I will get again. There's not a lot of tables, and it would be hard for a large group but even if you have to wait for a table, it is worth the wait! I will return! read more

The food was amazing!! I was looking for a nice place to take my parents to breakfast down at St Simons. My father ordered the chicken biscuit and grit bowl. I found this spot when we weee staying nearby and looking for some biscuits and gravy. We were quickly seated and started looking over the menu. There were some great options which made choosing difficult, but we tried the biscuits and gravy (go ahead - get 2 biscuits!) and the fried chicken and biscuit. Both were great! The sandwich wasn't huge so it was a perfect amount for breakfast. We sat inside - it's very cute - with a market and to go as well as the tables. Food comes up fast and is really reasonably priced! The chicken was perfectly fried - not greasy - and the hot honey was a nice touch (and thankfully, not too hot). Tried this place for breakfast on Saturday to start the morning. Nice quaint little place next to the Nest. I believe it's the same owners for both and the Georgia Sea Grill. My wife ordered the Grits bowl with eggs and bacon and sausage gravy on the side. I ordered the birdie breakfast with potatoes, eggs over easy and bacon and a biscuit. Everything was fresh and tasty. The side of potatoes came out extremely salty, and I asked the waitress to bring an order without salt which she did. They were fine. I would like to try some other things on the menu but overall, it was good. Nothing special, but it appears to be a nice little place and I will probably try it again in the future. read more

Biscuits and sausage gravy is craft food. The ingredients are basic and the finished product is a tapestry of bread, gravy and precious samples of sausage. It has taken 35 years to find it done right (Farmers Market in Fort Myers was the last one in 1990). Three Little Birds on Saint Simons Island has a magician in the kitchen. She or he took it one level better. Two square tasty biscuits with a plate filled of liquid gold. Not too salty, not to "milky." Perfection. Add in incredible service and a gorgeous restaurant just off Pier Village and you'll never want to leave. We get to Saint Simons once a year. This will be the first stop from now on. read more

Great breakfast place. We went there on a Sunday morning about 9 and was seated right away. My husband ordered the shaved steak wrap and I ordered the biscuit sandwich with bacon. This is the cutest little place! I had some time to kill in the morning by myself and found this place while walking around my AirB&B. The inside is small and their weeny very many tables to sit inside. The place was pretty busy but I didn't mind a 20 min wait to sit inside. There was immediate seating to sit outside but I opted to wait for some AC. Even though it was busy the service was great, friendly waitresses, quick turnaround in my food, and wasn't overwhelmingly busy. It's very family friendly and they have everything from super simple bakery goods to breakfast plates. I had the steak wrap bc I was starving and it was amazing! This place is a gem! The seating inside is nice and the patio seating looks terrific too! The day we went was a little too cold but I bet that's great on a lovely morning. The staff was super friendly and energetic. Our food was delicious. The fruit bowl tasted like it was prepared just before they gave it to us. Things we liked: unlike many other places we've seen on the island. Breakfast, lunch, take home meals, and other misc items! Outdoor and indoor dining. Things we didn't love: I tried the special, French toast casserole and the French toast part was a little over cooked for my liking. My husbands biscuits were dry but the gravy did make that better! This is an order at the counter, they'll bring the food out place! Though my food wasn't my favorite, it was good enough and didn't make us not want to go back. 5 stars for the wait staff. 5 stars for the appearance and cleanliness. The food was simple and decent but nothing worth the price of admission. I get it's on an island but that excuse can only go so far with a small bowl of grits with an egg and bacon on top. The biscuit seemed fresh but kind of bland and small for the price. The balance of cost with what was served was definitely not well done. I hate leaving any review that may hurt a business, but the overcharging for simple dishes needs to stop. read more

What a wonderful addition from the folks at Georgia Sea Grill! This casual dine in or to go spot is a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner before 5. They have all your day at the beach needs from sandwiches, cheeses, salads, to canned beer or wine. You can also sit quietly at a table and dine in if preferred. My favorite is the turkey sandwich or a salad. It's all very lovingly made and fresh. The prices are competitive but not exorbitant. And the staff is so friendly and helpful. Disappointing...ordered breakfast. Only 1 other table & others came in. We received our food after others, then the order was wrong. Our server seemed confused about our order & one meal was not right & had to be remade...it still was wrong meat. Plus the eggs had gotten cold. Not worth the wait to redo. There is no 4 1/2 star option as that is the true score I would give. The restaurant has both outside & inside dining opportunities. This particular day decided to eat inside as there still a touch of coolness in the air but all but one table outside was occupied when we dined. Our server was Jenni who was very helpful with making some suggestions as well as her being very attentive during our visit with refilling beverages before even having to ask. Well done & thank you! I had the Seared Chicken sandwich with potato salad. The sandwich was presented well but at the end of the chicken breast was a little tough to chew. Not enough that I didn't finish the sandwich. Potato salad had dill which was tasty! My wife had the Chicken Salad croissant with Greek Orzo and my wife throughly enjoyed both items! FYI, parking can be a challenge if you are visiting at peak meal hours. But there is usually spaces available near by so you may have to walk a small distance. If you need an option for pickup & go they have a cooler with many items to select from for lunch & dinner. Many varieties of soups, sandwiches & entrees to select. I was looking for a quick place to get into for lunch on Sunday, just after noon. Walked in had options on outside patio or inside, sat right down no wait. Ella took care of us, drinks immediately, answered all our questions, took our order. I had biscuits and gravy, very good with plenty of sausage. Wife had cheesesteak, delicious with sweet peppers. We have eaten here for lunch and breakfast several times and enjoy the food. However, there is one practice the kitchen crew engages in that is very disruptive and takes away from the positive experience. The chopping and pots banging in the same room as the dining is so loud that it disturbs our eating. We don't understand why more of the prep is not done in the room adjoining the kitchen or at non-peak dining times. That would greatly enhance the experience. read more

We then asked if we could sit at the bar type chairs outside and were told there was a wait, though no one sitting there when got there or when left. We then went to get take out only to hear cashier say on the phone no wait to someone who called and see two couples drive up and seated right away with 2 additional empty tables. I asked the hostess about this and she said that they were on a waiting list. I heard the conversation and they was not the case. All she had to do was admit error.
