    Shakshouka

Wow! I have nothing but praise for this place! The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the building was a cute vintage diner feel. We had brunch here and it was amazing. The burrito and especially the shakshouka were delicious. From when we walked in the door until we walked out we had a great experience. We will definitely be back, maybe in the summer so we can check out the cute patio they have.

The chopped salad was fresh and tasted good but small and very little rotisserie chicken on it (and no bacon or corn as menu describes)

Three Birds is bright and cheery with tons of natural light. We went at noon on a weekday and got seated quickly. The tables are very close together, so much so that when the woman next to us got in and out, her rear end was on our table which was awkward to say the least. Our server introduced himself and brought us water and gave us some time to look over the menu. It was my first time there and my sister-in-law recommended the chopped salad with rotisserie chicken so I got that. She got the veggie burger which she enjoyed. My salad was fresh and tasted good but there was *maybe* an ounce of chicken on it. I kept thinking I'd find more as I ate into the salad but the entire amount were the few bites on top of the salad. As I'm writing this review, I looked back at the online menu and realized there was supposed to be corn and bacon on it as well, which there was none. I debated giving 3 stars but we love this restaurant group, so I think I'll go back again but will be more aware of my meal when it's brought out.

I met a few friends for brunch recently. I had the vegan breakfast burrito because I can't eat eggs. It was very filling and the chutney it came with made it extra tasty. The atmosphere here is always lovely and I can't wait to come back when the weather warms up to sit on the patio.

Patio was shady and fun place

Fun place and it is amazing to see the remodel opening up all those windows creates a real open inviting atmosphere. We grabbed a table outside the tall trees provided shade and a nice breeze even on a smoking hot day. The waiter was prompt and offered recommendations. I had the fried chicken thigh sandwich which was very taste others grabbed the smash burger and really enjoyed it. The chips were seasoned very well and I loved the crisp shoestring fries. The cocktails were tasty and reasonably priced, but I think they need to build out the beer list a bit. Over all a fun dinner and I love the look and feel of the place. Stop in and give them a try.

My friends and I ordered the Caesar salad with added pulled chicken. The presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately it lacked flavor. We mostly just tasted the lettuce. On a positive note, I also ordered a cup of chili, which was good and enjoyable.

We will be returning to Three Birds for sure! The brunch was amazing. Everything from the hash browns to the Bloody Mary was top notch. Service and atmosphere was dialed in. We want to try their dinner menu. Support home grown!!

Been wanting to try out this new restaurant. I highly suggest grabbing a reservation. It's still new and was busy. Even with a reservation we had to wait a few minutes but the service was great all night. Walking up to the restaurant itself you immediately notice the large, amazing patio. It would have been great to sit out there on a nicer night weather wise. Inside is full of natural light from the big windows all the way around the building. Loved the simple and stylish decor. I especially loved the famous three 'birds' framed in the bar area. Very cute touch. Our waiter, David, took great care of us all night. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to offer suggestions and answer questions. It was very loud inside, so don't expect a quiet, intimate meal. As I said, I would have probably done the patio if it had been a nicer night weather wise. It's a tad on the expensive side but the food was delicious. We will definitely be back and try more of what they have to offer.

Great new restaurant in the Dayton, Ohio area... Had a great dinner tonight... Friendly fast service, hot fresh food, great pricing... We'll definitely be back.

    Salmon

We came to Ohio to move our daughter and needed a warm meal after a long day of driving and moving and we are so happy that we came to Three Birds. The meal was excellent. I had their salmon and my hubby had their smash burger with a side of loaded fries. The food was presented well. It was cooked to our liking. The ambiance and atmosphere of the place is so welcoming and I love the lights. We would definitely come back here again. We were also put in a nice roomy booth and we really enjoyed that. Our waitress, Michelle and Milo were quick to serve us and very friendly.

There's a traditional burger called Signature Burger, then numbered 1-3 depending on how many patties. They have three fancier burgers -- Mushroom & Swiss, BBQ or Jalapeño. There are three types of chicken sandwiches -- Regular, Mango Habanero or Nashville Hot. They also offer chicken wings or chicken tenders with 8 sauces to choose from. Side options are waffle fries or onion rings. If you have a sweet tooth, they offer six flavors of milk shakes. I went with the Signature Burger 2 and a side of waffle fries. In addition to the two patties, it comes with two slices of American cheese, caramelized onions, signature sauce and mayonnaise. It was ready in under 10 minutes and I was on my way. They do have about ten tables if you want to dine inside. The burger comes wrapped in foil and stayed pretty warm by the time I got home. The flavor was excellent but after a few bites it almost seemed too decadent for a burger. I'm not sure how else to explain it other than it was so rich and dense that I think my taste buds were confused. I couldn't really taste the signature sauce, so I think next time I would ask for extra signature sauce and get it without mayonnaise. The fries were crispy and all in all it ended up being the perfect amount of food. I'd be interested to try one of the chicken sandwiches next time.

Now, they are basically based at The Famous restaurant which too has gone down hill in quality of food. I had made an order last night after long day of work (work a hour away), and the order was wrong and high priced for the portions. The fish was not a good portion like it was previous and did not even give me tartar sauce with fish. I was not aware of change of location to Famous Restaurant until I made the order and had to drive out of my way after long day at work. Management had refunded me money which was appreciated, but I would say that maybe they should just add this menu to The Famous Menu or to the Doubleday locations and close the doors and concept of this restaurant.

Our server, TAYLOR was the best. So friendly, patient, accommodating, and fun. She made our meal experience. The selection of beers is impressive, and Taylor helped my decision with giving me samples of beers. I went with the Imperial Head Hunter and was happy as can be with this IPA, The food? Incredible. We started with mozzarella sticks and faux chicken tenders as appetizers. Both were great. The mango habanero sauce is more sweet than spicy. But both the cheese and chicken tenders were wonderful. Our appetizer +, was the tequila vegan chili. We don't find veggie chili very often, but this was prepared with veggie chili, beans and soyrizo. It was wonderful. My wife chose the jackfruit Reuben sandwich. Those of us that are vegetarian, miss favorites like Reuben sandwiches. This jackfruit Reuben met the challenge. Delicious and plentiful. I had the Fierro burger with an impossible patty. Definitely not as spicy as I wanted, but delicious nonetheless. The restaurant itself is a bit of a hole in the wall. Nothing fancy but they have a lot of interesting and yummy sounding dishes, with many vegetarian and vegan options. I'd love to try other items but just can't pull myself away from The Cobra. They also have a good beer selection and the servers are friendly. Food came out quickly and several people checked in on us to make sure everything was good.

We met our kids in Dayton, which is about a halfway point for us each, for lunch this Saturday. We'd been wanting a good burger so I started looking for options and when I saw this place it was a no brainer. Slyders did not disappoint! The burgers are done on a flat top that's probably been in their kitchen since they opened in 1948. Talk about flavor!! The burger is good quality, tender, and full of great beef flavor, cranked out on that flat top to a crispy brown exterior.
