I was in Heber, staying with a friend and we decided to head out for breakfast. I saw reviews for Three Bear's on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. They were quite busy when we arrive with only one open table. Regardless, the service was excellent. We were seated right away and had coffee on the table within minutes. The person that seated us enthusiastically described a special that she called a breakfast pot pie. it was not something that I normally would have ordered, but she was so upbeat in her description I decided to give it a try. Wow, was it good! Maybe not the best thing if you're counting calories, but really tasty. Service throughout the breakfast was excellent. Our coffee cups were never empty and different servers. stopped by frequently to check on us. I'll definitely head back to Three Bear's café next time I'm in the area. read more

BEST SMALL TOWN CAFE EVER!! The SWEETEST waitresses & waiters, great prices, great food, could not tell you 1 negative thing even if I tried! We had our husky with us, and it was pouring rain, we were happy sitting outside enjoying the weather- but the waitresses told us several times we could all sit inside if needed! They brought our dog a bowl of water, checked on us every 5 minutes, and they even had an adorable dog menu. Everyone there was also very proud of their town, Heber-Overgarrd, seeing everyone there be so happy and content & eager to share stories of the towns history, was beautiful. Having had to get out & about early this morning, I thought that I'd treat myself to breakfast. Went down to Three Bear's Cafe and had...oh my, I had, I had...I had a plate of Orange Marmalade Cream Cheese stuffed French Toast with bacon on the side. There! I said it! Orange Marmalade Cream Cheese stuffed French Toast!!! Oh wow, I think it took me over 3 minutes before I could take a bite as it smellllllled sooooooo gooooood!!! My mouth was actually watering while I smelled the forkful held to my nose. I had squeezed the orange slices onto the FT so every once in a while I had bits of orange in my mouthful. Whipped cream on top, syrup not needed, this was a great, delicious, beautiful looking meal! Three Bears' coffee and bacon on the side...YEAH! Pricing is very good for what you get. Portions are a but large, so go on an empty stomach. The food always tastes good. Never overcooked my eggs. Clean restrooms. Service has always been great. Wow! The fact that I had their special, stuffed marmalade French toast, gluten free and avocado toast gluten free makes this a must stop to eat place! Alyssa our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu and the cooks made the batter fresh so there would be no cross contamination. Although I am not celiac, I have to be very careful. We sat on the patio with our dog and we were offered a bowl of water and he Loved the perfectly cooked bacon. Normally I deduct a star for watery coffee but the food way compensated for it!!! One of our favorite places for breakfast! The staff is always extremely friendly and the food is always beyond delicious. I'm one of those weird people who really doesn't love biscuits and gravy but with that being said I ALWAYS get their biscuits and gravy because they are AMAZING!! The last time we were in was toward the end of breakfast and they were offering breakfast pot pies with all the breakfast fixings. Found this little gem on our way back to valley after a weekend in the mountains. Greeted by owner, who spent a good amount of time talking to everyone while serving and taking orders. Everything was efficient and the food is great home comfort yummy! I had the oatmeal and it was creamy and delicious. Wife tried pancake, which was so good! Big and fluffy and tender. My little family and I took a little day trip to the Mogollon Rim today! Found this restaurant on Yelp, which had the most popular reviews of all the restaurants in the area. So, we decided to give it a try! When we arrived, the hostess informed us that they were short staffed on cooks. Therefore it was possible there could be a long wait for seating/food. We decided to wait, which we were only on the the waitlist for about 20 minutes (not bad). WAITRESS: Our waitress was Houston. She had such a great personality and very friendly to me, my husband and my two kids. She, and the other waitresses, checked on us often and always attended to our needs. Houston complimented my kiddos on their manners and even gave them hot chocolates on her. I appreciated Houston so much for that! It was so sweet of her. Thank you Houston for your outstanding customer service! FOOD: I ordered the French Toast Combo, which came with 1 piece of cinnamon French toast, 2 eggs, and ham. To complete my meal, I ordered potatoes on the side. To me, the taste/flavor of the food had more of a "home-cooking" feel to it. The eggs and the potatoes were good, but could have used a little more salt and pepper when cooking it. The potatoes had a good seasoning flavor, but the burnt taste of some of the potatoes kind of threw it off. The ham was perfect! It was not dry and cooked well enough to where it was not tough to eat! The French toast was also good. Because I'm not crazy about cinnamon, I felt there could have been a little less cinnamon in the French toast. Overall, worth the price! My husband ordered the breakfast burrito. He said he enjoyed the burrito and all that was in it. Although, he felt that it tasted kind of "bland". Meaning, he said it needed some seasoning to it, like salt, pepper, garlic, etc.. He really liked that the burrito was toasted on the outside. Overall, he said it was good and worth trying. My kids ordered from the kids menu, which was displayed on the board behind the cashier's desk. Note, they do not have kids menus handy. The kids meals are $5.99, which also come with a small drink of their choice. My son ordered the French toast sticks and my daughter ordered the bear cub pancake. Both came with their choice of meat as well. My son thought the French toast was the best. He ate every bite and enjoyed dipping the pieces in to the syrup. My daughter also enjoyed her pancake and loved that it was made to look like a happy bear! She ate most of her pancake, but did not finish because it was too much. Note, the pancake is pretty large and thick. She said she liked it. OVERALL: Their prices are super reasonable, especially for a large family. We paid approximately $40 for all that we ordered for 4 people (not including tip). My family and I felt the portion sizes were perfect enough to get us full, but not to the point where we were having a "food coma". Overall, this place is worth a try! read more

Amazing! Three Bears Diner was everything I look for in an eating establishment. It was clean and tables were tidied quickly. The food was delicious. I ordered a veggie omelette. It was full of fresh vegetables- cooked just enough and flavorful. I chose the potatoes and an English muffin. Yummy. My husband ordered the Snow Topped French Toast, a full plate of French toast with fresh fruits, caramel, syrup and nuts, topped with whipped cream. Service and atmosphere were a five star for sure. The woman I believe was the owner, interacted with the customers of all ages and affectionately referred to some of them as "Mama Bear or Baby Bear". The staff communicated well and were positive and friendly. Even though they were busy with a couple of big groups they let us know when we could expect our food.
