Very Friendly service. Great breakfast. We visit Heber a lot. This is a new favorite.

This was our first overnight stay in Heber and our first time trying one of the breakfast cafés. We got there at 7 AM and there were a few tables filled with locals. We were warmly welcomed and especially thanked when they learned this was our first time in town. She said, thank you for choosing us! We love the patriotic theme and the funny signs inside. We felt like locals as we overheard the many conversations. We both ordered the two egg breakfast with bacon, fruit, and the mini pancake. The water bell was so fresh and tasty! Our server said they just cut it open this morning. The other two egg breakfast we got the potatoes. We love that the pancakes are mini pancakes. The pancakes were good, but we actually prefer a much thinner pancake. But the overall breakfast was very satisfying and we would return here again. The staff is so friendly and it's just a great place to hang out. They bake cinnamon rolls and muffins so we'll have to try one of those next time. read more

A comfy/cozy little cafe in the White Mountains, June's is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. I've driven by it hundreds of times and have always wanted to stop in and finally pulled the trigger on it. We were greeted immediately and told we could pick our table. Within seconds we had our coffee poured and menus in hand. This is everything you would imagine a cafe would be like in the mountains....friendly people, old time locals catching up, the wood work inside and all the charm to go with it.....and pine tree mountain side views from the windows. The food was homemade and decent, nothing super special but I loved every bite. This place isn't just about the food it's an experience. On a scale of 1 - 10, while I've checked June's off my list of "places I need to taste", I will be back again. read more

What a fun place for lunch. Stopped in while traveling. A lot of other travelers were there too. Staff was friendly and the place is very clean. Food was great. Everyone was talking about where we were from and lots of different dishes were served and everyone was happy. Temps of the food served were hot and fresh. Don't drive by. A hidden gem within the mountains. While traveling the backroads, we came upon this gem. A patriotic theme is an understatement, but a refreshing atmosphere that supports our nation. The food was delicious, prepared fresh, and served hot. The wait staff was kind and offered detailed descriptions of the food items when asked about them. Originally, I was planning on going to a different café stop serving breakfast at 11 and there at 11:15 so I stop at June's Café. So glad I did! Although they were busy, there was no wait and I was seated and served coffee immediately. I love him restaurants have specials so ordered the eggs Benedict and choice of potatoes. It really was one of the best I've had. The country fried potatoes were OK. The service was exceptional. I also ordered the green chili corn chowder and a cherry turnover to go. The corn beef hash was okay. I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese only got scrambled egg. The fruit was frozen it was perfect for a smoothie. The biscuit and gravy did not mix well. The gravy did not have sausage. It tasted like flour. Unfortunately overall the food was cold and no flavor. I asked for a coke with my meal. The machine was not mixing the syrup with the CO2. We tried it 3 times on the third try I gave up. The customer service was excellent but the food was not there for me. The restaurant is small but its atmosphere was very pleasant and peaceful. read more

After passing this cafe for 40 years, today we stopped! We had omelets with hash browns and toast. The food was fantastic. Our server was taking care of the entire restaurant. She was so cheerful and got everything perfect. The restaurant is very patriotically decorated. We loved everything about it. read more

My wife and I stopped in there in Monday morning. We'd heard positive things about the place, and let me tell you... whoever said this place was good.... IT TELLING THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH! The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the Ultimate omelet w/o mushrooms! One of the best omelets I've ever had! Terrible service!!! We waited 45 minutes for to eat mediocre food. They are severely understaffed.

We stopped in for the first time to try the cute little cabin cafe. Nice breakfast and lunch menu. Waitress was friendly and checked on us often. Had the mushroom cheddar burger with fried zucchini. Very good. Thick patty, soft bun, gooey cheddar, plenty of shrooms. Zucchini spears were delicious. They had cherry, peach and blueberry pie available. Cherry was very good. Flaky crust. Lots of cherries! Food came out quickly. Will stop in the next time we drive through Heber. read more

June's is a small diner open for breakfast and lunch with classic American fare: biscuits and gravy, eggs, burgers. My family and I dropped in for a late breakfast on our drive from Phoenix to Albuquerque. The clientele seemed like a mostly local crowd of retirees and maybe some of their grandkids. My family of three each had some egg-based meals. My wife had an egg and cheese sandwich. My daughter had the ham and egg burrito and I had the green chilli pork omelette. The food was cooked fine, but relatively un-spiced, mostly unsalted. This was true of the eggs, hash browns, etc. Maybe that is the style of the area to salt and pepper everything to taste, but for my daughter who ate the burrito, there were no district flavors. The two other small items was the waitress never came to refill our coffee, ie didn't really check on us after the meal was brought out. Also, they ran out of biscuits by 11:30. I make biscuits and it takes about 20 minutes to bake them, so to run out of a staple early in the day for an item that can be made quickly left us a little hanging. The restaurant was well decorated in American Pride items and was very homey. read more

Stoped on our way back from pine top and waited for around 20 minutes to be sat, which was fine. They were relatively busy. However if asked if I would wait for the food again my answer is "probably not". Nothing was bad, the service, food, pricing, etc. all just average. I had the Eggs Benedict which is one of my favorite breakfast items and while it was ok that is all it was. While I would stop again, I would not wait to eat here. read more

Breakfast is always great. This is my favorite go to place when I'm heading to my cabin in Overgaard. Prices are very reasonable. I usually get the bacon and eggs breakfast that comes with choice of potatoes. Also, comes with choice of toast or can be substituted with a large pancake. They are generous with their bacon servings, which makes my dog happy when I return to the cabin. The menu has a wide variety of choices, plus they always have a daily special. The staff are all very friendly and they keep the coffee coming. I gave June's only 4 stars due to the restaurant being quite small inside, so there always seems to be a wait time to get a seat, but worth the wait. read more

Holy cow this is the place! We came across it by accident and it takes you back to a simpler time! Very cozy and the entire staff is as friendly as it gets! Friendly staff and just good home type cooking. Ordered a chicken sandwich and was very tasty, juicy not dry, and a good size breast meat. The bun was grilled and they used real cheese not wiz. My husband ordered the hot dog and enjoyed it as well. The French Fries are crisp and not greasy. Soft drink, tea, coffee have free refills. On both the hotdog and the sandwich there was a lot of bread with no meat. Not sure why because the meat portions were good. Service dog friendly! read more

Have been there several times under previous owners, but had an eye-opening experience with new management. Placed orders, sat and watched while 3 other parties came in, were seated and received their orders.....one large party was obviously friends with the server. After a considerable wait and watching 3 other tables receive their order we got up, paid for our drinks and walked out. Server followed us to parking lot telling us our orders were almost ready.....nope, not if that's how you choose to treat customers. read more

This is a hidden little gem sitting in the wide open and easy to find corners of 260 and 277 in Heber, Az. It's a small quaint place with history on the walls with a patriotic theme and a great staff. We have never had a bad meal there. It's our for sure stop when we are in town. Better get there early. They are only open for breakfast and lunch (7am-3pm) even if you have to wait you will not be disappointed and glad you did. I recommend the chicken fried steak. Better be hungry as the portions are hefty. read more
