I've been here three times, and unfortunately the consistency has been consistently poor. The staff lacks personality and often comes across as borderline rude. Combined with the location, the overall atmosphere has an uncomfortable, almost Deliverance-like vibe. The place itself is not very clean. Each time I've ordered wings, they've been sitting in a puddle of oil. The pizza is mediocre at best not terrible, but far from good. Having worked in several pizza places myself, it's clear they're using old dough that's been sitting out, which results in a below-average product. A good local pizza joint but it's more than that for a small town. Easy selection of ingredients and ordering is simple with staff shortages being what they are, stick around with another beer. The food was good, service was okay and the prices were fair. Clean tables, floors and plenty of free parking. Ordering ahead of time might be the correct way to speed things up a bit. read more

Great take out experience here. Ordered two small green salads, a seven inch personal and a twelve inch medium pizza. Staff here were friendly and efficient. Our pizzas were ready in 20 minutes after placing the order at the counter. Toppings were plentiful and the crust was nice and crunchy. We're up here visiting my parents and we always get pizza here. First of all, the people that work there are incredibly nice. The pizza is always good. This time we just had the pepperoni pizza and a small Hawaiian pizza. Nothing was left over. It was gobbled up. This was the first time that I went to pick up the pizzas and they have a very cute eating area with a few arcade games and I think I saw a pool table in there. Next time I'm hitting up that Ms PAC Man game. We will be back again for sure. read more

Great quality pizza and fantastic service. Brought my family here on a busy Saturday night, pizza was prepared quickly and all special requests done right. We ordered a large pepperoni, medium pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom square cut, small cheese well done, small cheese regular, and pizza rolls. My wife and I stopped here recently on a small road trip to The Rim Country and we weren't disappointed. The establishment decor is a bit boring, but all the employees we dealt with were friendly and accommodating. The pizza was the best we've had since moving to Arizona over 7 years ago. After being completely pissed about the crappiest service from Gigi's and my kids begging for pizza, I gave in and went to Pit Stop. Food wise they have improved a lot and I'm glad for that since my kids seemed to enjoy it. Pit Stop is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday- no biggie! I did call ahead on Monday to check the hours since it's not uncommon for places in our rural community to close early. Their Facebook business page shows them open until 8pm so it's better to call and check beforehand. I called on Monday around 3pm to find out they were going to close at 6pm. I said I'd call back between 4 and 4:30pm to place a to go order for dinner. I called back and no one would answer so I just figured they were busy. Once I arrived one of the owners and the staff were outside. I was informed they decided to close even earlier because they weren't busy. I was disappointed since my number was on caller ID and they could have made a quick call to say they were closing shop early rather than me having to drive over and I also didn't take anything out to make for dinner. Needless to say, my kids ate a lot later than normal since defrosting meat takes awhile. So basically I'm glad to see the food is better than it used to be per my kids however, they need better communication with customers. Had they said on my call they were closing before 4pm, I would have been absolutely fine with that. The owners are friendly so that's a plus. Just better communication is needed. read more

If you're a pizza fanatic, I wouldn't recommend pit stop. The sauce was so sweet, it didn't even taste like pizza.
