Only FIVE stars ! I would like to give them TEN ! From the…read morevery first encounter with this company, I was pleasantly surprised at their professionalism and kindness. It really resonated with us because of how overall customer service these days has taken a back seat to profit. ( nothing wrong with profit, but there is a blend for success ) I had 4 bids for a complete re-pipe of our home. 2 of the 4 , barely looked at our concerns, and one company didn't even come out, just gave me a HIGH quote over a text message. My wife and I were immediately set at ease by Armon. Not only did he come out as he said, he was on time and communicated with us at all times. He took the time to take pictures, ask questions of us AND listen to our concerns. We were actually able to negotiate a workable solution and price, which was something the other companies were unwilling to do. One week before the agreed upon start date, I had the pleasure of meeting Art, another brother, I believe there are 3 brothers. But anyway, this guy is TOP SHELF ! He came out and told us he would be doing the re-pipe job, and he went over everything that he needed for me to due in preparation for their arrival. On the start day, they were half an hour early. They went straight to work. All during the day Art was keeping me informed of any and all issues that we should be aware of, and asking ME my opinion, Incredible. These guys worked together very well, it was obvious that they are highly experienced in all aspects of plumbing and re piping. Top of the line tools and well organized parts caught my attention quickly. During the course of this project we had walls exposed in multiple areas, old steel pipe being removed, it looked like mayhem to this home owner, but to them it was all part of this difficult process. At all times they were keeping things picked up and vacuumed, always aware, and causing no harm to our property. Needless to say, this big job had us with some high anxiety, but the feeling that we had while they worked and after completion was so satisfying. Just having the feeling of trust with the people that were in our home, almost immediately, that is priceless. So a great big THANK YOU to Art, Armon, Arman...and lets not forget Uncle Joseph ! I highly recommend New Flow Plumbing to everyone.

Since I have Old Republic Home Protection (ORHP) I always called them first, to request authorization to use an independent out-of-network service provider to fix home repairs. ORHP granted my request. I chose and called All Phase Plumbing, before first, checking to see if they had positive Yelp reviews and confirming if they were license w/ the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and are in good standing. All Phase Plumbing had both positive reviews, is licensed and is in good standing. They removed the old water heater and installed a new one. Their cost was reasonably expected. As always, ORHP requires that I pay out of pocket first for using independent out-of-network contractors. Then ORHP reimburses me/its members.

After a couple of weeks of disasters with two visits from plumbers our home warranty sent. We decided to find our own here on Yelp. 1st Call Plumbing looked promising, so we called them. Mike is very personable and instilled confidence from the get-go. He listened carefully on the phone and asked pertinent questions, scheduling us in for a quick visit the following morning. We are short on cash and had already checked what the average cost of sewage line replacement was and the various options available. We discussed whether I could dig the trench and have them remove and replace the line. Was given a very nice quote on the understanding that I do a good job digging to their specifications. It took me all my spare time over a few days. Again, Mike was excellent. I didn't have to chase him or even ask. He called one morning and stopped by in between jobs to check my progress. He estimated when I would be done. Did a follow up visit the day before and saw I had pretty much finished. When I was done and gave him a call, he had already penciled us in for the following morning. Mike is punctual and, on all occasions, came exactly when he said he would. To install the new sewer line, he brought his work partner of 25 years Carlos. They are good buddies and between them did all the work quickly and competently. I am happy to say that our sewer line has been working flawlessly for the last 3 weeks. I have no problems recommending First Call Plumbing. Mike was fair and honest from the get-go. There were only 2 options & this one had better reviews than the other. Tech came out on a Friday, relit the pilot without issue. He turned it off again as he said the burner plates needed to be cleaned. He cleaned them, lit pilot & left. By Monday, the pilot was out again & there was a faint smell of gas in my garage. PG&E came out, said there was a minor leak like maybe a bolt just needed to be replaced but nothing major or dangerous. They also said the burner plates might need to be replaced as they were old (water heater is old). I reopened my claim & the plumber said they'd come back but couldn't get to me for another 5 days. I was angry of course because your tech was just here & didn't fix the issue, so silly me for thinking they'd come back sooner. The same tech came back, I told him what PG&E said, gave him the paper from PG&E saying what they found & his response was "no, they're wrong." The tech took everything apart, put it back together & said "your unit is just old & needs replacement." He submitted a work order to the warranty company who said his recommendation would require me to pay $1,900 out of pocket as I needed my gas line replaced, the permits, etc. On top of that, the smell of gas was EVEN STRONGER THAN BEFORE. I called a completely diff. plumber to come out, paid out of pocket for him to look at it, & he said there was a part on the front that wasn't properly fitted which was causing the gas to seep out in the air. He replaced the one part & my water heater has worked just fine ever since. Pilot hasn't gone out again, no gas smell, water is hot as heck. That was 3 weeks ago! So I only ended up spending $200 as opposed to the $1,900 this company told me I'd need to spend to fix the issue. Don't use this company as at least one of their techs is a darn scam artist who tried to hustle me.
