My technician took several photos of my face during the process. She asked permission but when you're lying on a table and waiting for someone to apply chemicals to your eye area it feels really hard to say no. It felt like I was there to help her promote her work and not to get a paid service. The end result was equally disappointing as I didn't like the barely there lift. I have gotten the same service elsewhere and seen a dramatic difference in my lashes. After this I decided to just stick to eyebrows. I went back and wanted a wax instead of threading. The result? I ended up with wax burn. My eyelid is red and it stings. Clearly they are not used to working with wax and don't even seem to own tweezers. I give up. So, yeah, steer clear.

And they are so cheap! Just $6 for eyebrows and $5 for upper lips. The best part is that I rarely have to go in to do spot clean-up with tweezers afterwards - these ladies leave no hair behind! (lolz) There is usually a small wait on the weekends (15-20 minutes) and they are not super strict about the hours on the door (ie: sometimes they open later or close earlier) so I would call ahead if you don't live nearby.
