He was an elderly gentleman with no personality. When I went to pay, I asked the girl at the front desk, how much a tip to give to the two that did my hair, also the one that washed it. She stated 20% each for all three of them, it was a very expensive day, and was not worth it. She also stated they get more than 20%. Noel was very thorough in explaining what to expect during and after the process and how to care for my brows for the best possible outcome. I found the healing process to very quick and easy. As you can see in the top two photos my hair was damaged from dying it many times before, I used box dye during the COVID-19 quarantine leaving it in different shades of brown and a harsh line at the roots, and I also cut my hair myself making it uneven. The first time I met Sandra she made me feel comfortable and I trusted her with my hair because the way she spoke about hair showed me that she knew what she was doing, and she knew how to deal with different hair types. Sandra spent the day perfecting my hair and I was so happy and felt beautiful after we were done. Since then I've gotten compliments on my hair regularly, and my hair is a lot healthier than before. I'm so happy I trusted Sandra with my hair, she is a wonderful person and has gotten a client for life. **My mom has also gone to Sandra and she also feels like DaVinci Hair Studio is a comfortable environment because Sandra gave her honest opinion on my moms hair and said the color looks lovely and she doesn't need to change it. Day of arrival we parked on the street (at a meter), not knowing the business has a parking lot behind the building for customers (manicurist shared with us during appt). That might have been worth mentioning Ms. Receptionist. The space looks small from the outside but inside is very spacious but dated; the Manicure Room is cute, but could use some updates as well. The nail color selection is limited and flat (none of the new stuff). The manicurist were great - took their time and polished well. Upon check out I presented both cards, one for my mom to use and one for myself. The reception said they didn't take Spa Week, I told her when I called the receptionist said they did. Whatevs, but I know what I was told. On my second visit (2 weeks later), I booked a mani and pedi, but the manicurist I booked with was no longer employed there, so I was very surprised because I wasn't notified. The new girl was good too, so I was satisfied, but normally a call with the option to keep or cancel appointment is my practice. The business sends frequent email blasts that let you know about specials and pricing, which the prices have spiked, as of April. A regular manicure will now cost $30, color gel mani $55, basic pedi $55. These new prices will determine the frequency of my visits.

The staff member who did it put the tint all over my skin, and didn't do the full length of one of my brows. This meant my brow looked unnaturally thick but also short, since the front of my brow was not tinted. Then, when the staff member was removing the tint from my brows, she got some on my brow bone. I asked her to clean it up, but she said it would fade on its own. It did not. It peeled my skin and took off a few layers. If the tinting was done JUST over my eyebrow hair, it probably would have looked great. It faded within 4-5 days so I didn't have to deal with it for long, but I was surprised that a $30 tinting service (which included the waxing) faded so quickly. I did tell them that the service was not up to standard/the pictures on their pages. They apologized but said there was nothing they could do. Again, the waxing and staff are great! but the tinting is definitely a no from me.

I got these done ahead of time for a vacation, and I'm really glad I didn't get them closer to leaving. If you have lighter hair, I wouldn't recommend getting your brows tinted here.
