Brow wow wow! I was…read morein desperate need for a brow shaping and revamp. Well let me tell you, my brows came out crispy and SLAYING. After endless research, it's so nice to find someone you can trust with your face. I mean, after all, brows are everything. We want them to look like twinsies not cousins, right? Nicole is a brow whisperer and knows exactly what to do. As a master brow artist, she'll know exactly how to shape them and take care of them so they can look their very best. She makes sure to shape out how your brows should look so that you can progressively get the right shape. I came in there a bit nervous but for sure after seeing her incredible work on ig I had no doubt she'd do an amazing job. And she DID. As surprised as I was when I looked at the mirror, it was no surprise my brows would SLAYY this hard. They were screaming. My babes were back and she totally brought them back to their best shape. Absolutely loved coming here, you're in the hand of a professional. Nicole is incredible from the moment you make your appointment to the instructions on how to find her location to the appointment itself, she is amazing at what she does! Pro tip: she books up pretty fast so be sure to sign up for openings and for her next month's openings. She's extremely thorough with the whole booking process but believe me, she's as thorough with her brow detailing too. The best part, it's a pretty quick appointment and almost too relaxing to the point of wanting to fall asleep. Thank you Nicole for my brows, they're crispy, considerate, cutesy and very demure!

My daughter discovered this nail location over a year ago. I was using someone around the corner…read moreand was not very satisfied. My daughter would pick out The most technical and crazy designs that she would find on the internet; she would be delighted when they achieved the same results. She was always thrilled and elated with her nails, the look, and the amount of time that they would last. Her nails were always strong and vibrant. She bought me a gift certificate so I would try. So now-I too have been coming here to Vnails continuously and faithfully. I do the powder gel- I have no patience waiting for my nails to dry. I am much more traditional than my daughter and often get various types of French manicures. Ex. Yellow/white, Ombré, a simple flower or heart on a single nail . My nails easily last three weeks. I get bored of what I have chosen faster than there need for replacement. The service is fantastic and everyone speaks English. You never feel out of place or that someone is taking behind your back in a language you don't understand. When and if a nail does break they are extremely accommodating. The technicians are always warm and welcoming. They offer a free mini massage if wanted. Plus the place is immaculate!!! On a plus note the owner lives in the town. Her husband owns a restaurant next door. They are truly vested into the area. Excellent!!!!!

Everyday driving into town, I pass by Paris Salon. This week I saw that they had a Blow Out Special, $25.00 for a wash and blow-dry. I quickly called Saturday morning expecting them to say that they were booked for the day, as Saturdays are usually very busy in the salon world. The nice girl who picked up the phone said that they had an opening at 9:45 and to come on in. I went in for my appointment which was super easy to find. Park around the back and Paris is up the back stairs to the right. I was greeted by a very cheery blonde girl with beautiful hair named Isabella. She brought me over to her station. The reason why I give it 4 stars and not 5 is that the chairs at the salon are very small. I admit that I have gained a little bit of weight in the past year, falling in love can do that to you, you know. The chairs are very pretty, but only the small can truly fit into them. They look comfortable with big leather arms and I was not comfortable. I was not about to say anything to them at the time for fear of embarrassment, but wanted to let you all know. I just wanted to point out that if you are larger that a size 10, you may find it difficult sitting in the salon chair. Everything else went well, Isabella did a beautiful job on my hair, and even finished off the do with a cute braid in the front. She was great at making conversation, and I was in and out in 30 min. I will return, but maybe after I loose a few. haha

Hair was not styled well. Had to rewash. I don't treat myself to blow outs and I was really looking forward to this. I picked this place based on offerings they listed and positive reviews. :(

I had the most wonderful experience at Gigi's 3 weekends ago. I needed a mani-pedi, eyebrow waxing…read moreand makeup application for a wedding and was coming from out of town so didn't know where to go. Gigi's didn't have a lot of reviews but all the feedback I read was excellent so I decided to try it out. So many positives: Gigi herself took the booking and was wonderfully warm, helpful and caring. She made sure a makeup artist would be available and called me back to confirm. Everyone at the salon was friendly, kind and attentive. I was using a cane after hip surgery and they were very considerate about my comfort and safety. Apologies in advance if I got some of the names wrong in the next section.... Pedi: Veronica did a great job! Only minor complaint was that pushing back the cuticle was painful---maybe more soaking and cuticle softener needed. Massage chair was great BTW! Brow waxing (Ashley): friendly and very nice, listened carefully to what I wanted, didn't remove too much, very considerate about potential discomfort (it was a breeze!). Brows looked terrific! Makeup (Melissa): absolutely wonderful. Such a nice person as well as knowledgeable, skilled and flexible to adjust to my preferences. She explained every product she was using and what she was doing, gave tips along the way and answered my many questions. I learned a lot, had fun, and the makeup was beautiful! Nails (Diana): what a consummate professional as well as a truly lovely person. She did a meticulous job on my gel manicure --- it turned out great and I kid you not, has not chipped or peeled in three, count 'em, three weeks! In fact, I waited to write my review until today so I could include a 3-week photo! Plus, Diana makes a delicious cinnamon coffee! As a bonus, Gigi's husband Link2Link (his professional name, he's a musician) had a lively and interesting conversation with my husband while he was waiting. I can't say enough good things about Gigi's! Wait, another plus: it's located in the strip mall next to the Hotel Zero Degrees in Norwalk. Couldn't be more convenient if you're staying there---check it out! Gigi's only opened in September 2021 so I hope they continue to grow their clientele. If I lived in the area, Gigi's would be my go-to salon for all my beauty needs, hands down (if you'll pardon the pun!).
