Me and this very nice lady both got to Making Faces at 10:30 and 10:45. We have been standing OUTSIDE in the cold waiting for Danny to open up his store. Online and on his front door it says that the place opens up at 10!!!! This poor lady comes all the way from FLORIDA just to have Danny do her eyebrows. We have tried calling multiple times and NO ONE answers!!! I love Danny and he does an amazing job but while we were waiting he literally lost 4 different clients because no one wanted to wait for him. Me and this lady gave him until 11:30, it is now 11:36 and the lights are on and the TV is on and he has two very annoyed clients outside in the freezing cold!!!! It's sad to say that I may never be back especially if I don't know when Danny is going to be working and when Danny wants to give himself the day off. Faces is just Fabulous! When I first went to Danny it was 8 years ago when he was the first to ever wax my eyebrows. Back then he was taking customers and making them beautiful in the basement of Salon. Fast forward to today and Danny is working out of his very own studio, which he perfectly named Faces. The overall decor and atmosphere is very chic and clean. The all white (walls, floor, and furniture) and is topped off with a large chandelier. There are magazines and a TV to watch as one waits and overall gives a glamorous vibe that many of the other salons in Danbury do not have. Although the decor is great the service that Danny gives is even better! Over than waxing Danny does make up for any occasion and he does a a phenomenal job! Danny has done both my eyebrows and make up in the past and he has never let me down! Plan to splurge a little bit on his brow waxes because they will cost you $20 but they are well worth it because he goes over them with some eyeshadow and takes the time out to make sure that they are beautiful before you go! He does take appointments for make up applications but I am unsure about waxing appointments. The salon does get busy so plan your time accordingly and expect to have some type of wait. read more

I travel from NJ to CT to go see Danny for eyebrows and makeup ... that says it all. He is most definitely the eyebrow and makeup guru. He does a phenomenal job! I don't have the most defined or even noticeable eyebrows so I never get eyebrow compliments. However, I got several after Danny shaped them. I absolutely loved what he did to my eyebrows & now I'm hooked. As for my makeup: my appt. was at noon, I had an event at 10pm and my makeup lasted ALL day & ALL night. The private makeup studio is well-lit and spacious. Danny explains what what he's doing and what products he's using as he goes (and uses products from his own line). He is very courteous and friendly and will make you feel comfortable, as if you've been his client forever. Plus, he plays great music. Can you ask for more? The space is gorgeous; very clean, all white, great natural lighting ... and oh, that beautiful chandelier. Danny nailed the look that I was going for and gave my eyebrows the perfect shape. My first time here and I was just in love with the chandelier. Place is totally my style, clean and glamorous. Daniel was very friendly and very put together himself. Everything about him was just perfect. Anyway, he waxed my brows and filled them in and said to come back in 1 month. He wants to "modernize" my brows. I decided to splurge and see Daniel! He is absolutely so sweet and truly cares about his clients. He took the time to asses my eyebrows and went over what he was going to do. He then took his time, and filled them in and they are fabulous, he is worth the money if you are hesitant. He is so kind and truly cares and makes you feel like a million dollars.
